Great staff working together was nice to see and Knob Hill is more than a tavern with separate dining area and an outside patio with patrons dining despite the rain but we went in to the bar area so I could watch the weather reports for my travels the next day on one of their TV's. Great cold fishbowl mugs available and my son even met an old classmate from high school and got caught up on their lives. He even got a peck (kiss) on the cheek from a lady at the next table who couldn't resist his "lure of the animal" and the red face gave us all a chuckle. It was crowded inside because it was too cool to sit outside. I ordered the hummus platter for us, and it was absolutely beautiful. It in three different hummus - my favorite being the pesto one. The dish was topped with feta and served with carrots and celery and grilled pita. Yum! For my main course I ordered the Tuscan Grilled Beef Salad. The beef tips were grilled to perfection. The salad included mixed greens, potatoes, tomatoes, peppers and onions. (I had them hold the onions) I also had them serve the dressing on the side. It was delicious and it was an ample serving. Our server was attentive. It was a wonderful meal, and a great way to spend time with friends.
