A good solid health food resource…read more As a visitor, this was not so useful as I was not in a position to cook; the orientation is towards fresh ingredients, specialty items, supplements and body care products. The staff was friendly, and seems to be a font of knowledge for the regulars who streamed in while I was there. They pointed me int he right direction for eating,,,and I could not be more grateful. This is located on the route between the two downtown Quilt in a Day locations.

It's in the back of a health store which resembles a pharmacy and they have about 8 different flavors of smoothies and juices to choose from. All made in front of you with fresh ingredients. The Smoothies are deliciously crafted and offer different benefits and combinations. I liked that some were coconut water based, others almond milk and other juice based. Two sizes were offered and presented in recyclable cups. I felt the super large circumference of the straws was a bit tacky and sorta against the natural way of living since straws are unnecessary plastic but also kinda essential for a thick smoothie. A big thing for me is bringing in my spice containers to be filled, helps me to keep from over shopping & I know exactly where it fits when I get home.

I found this location to have huge aisles and it seems to be well stocked. I go to Aldi for the great produce prices- I picked up baby carrots for $.49, eggs for $.89, a brick of cheese for $1.49, and a pineapple for $.99. You MUST examine Aldi's produce closely as sometimes it is way past it's prime.... The one complaint I have about this location on this particular day was the cashiers were slow slow slow- snails pace. So, when it comes to Aldi be ready to get some great deals- check their ad before you go and be ready for a long, slow moving line.
