More on my opinion on the latte in a minute. The bakery is in another room and they had a large variety of pastries that are prepared in the building. I ordered an Apple fritter, a chocolate cake donut with chocolate icing. My wife ordered a sour cream donut plus a lemon blueberry muffin. The Apple fritter was delicious with nice chunks of apple. One of the best I've ever had. So, after a bite of it, I gave my wife the caramel latte and ordered a black coffee. The sweetness of the fritter with the latte simply doesn't mix well IMO. The drink I had of the latte was really good but of course, I preferred a black coffee with the fritter. My wife loved the sour cream donut and thought it was better than our local donut shop we frequent that has her favorite sour cream donut. We saved the other two for the next day. So, no reviews for those two. This is a great local coffee shop with great products, great variety, and fantastic customer service. As cortado lovers, we gave theirs a shot, and it was a complete miss. Watery, poorly textured milk, and no effort at all in presentation. To top it off, they don't even serve it in a proper cortado cup!! It came in a full sized cappuccino cup, which just looked ridiculous. We can't recommend this spot for anyone who appreciates well crafted coffee, but if you're in need of a quick caffeine fix and have no other options, the bourbon vanilla latte is the safest bet.
