Brewed coffee and take home matcha
    Jackie D.

I live almost 5 hours away, but when I'm in Puducha, this is my go to! I absolutely love my dirty leaf (matcha latte with espresso) with the lavendar and chamomile syrup. I had to bring a bag of matcha home. We travel a lot and we do pour over in our sprinter van, and now I can have matcha when I travel. This is some of the best! Their shop is small but put together nicely. The baristas are always nice!

    London fog

The building which houses this cafe (as well as a Mellow Mushroom and probably other businesses) is a quite splendid historic brick structure, and the cafe creatively uses a couple of small, awkwardly shaped rooms to give guests some places to sit. The drink menu is fairly extensive, and I considered a variety of tea-based options. My London Fog was the sort of understated but satisfying flavor one hopes for. There was some hint of food options, but I saw none evident, and I didn't come for pastries. They did have almond milk as an option, and I would bet on the rest of their drinks being of good quality.

Cold Brew + honey cinnamon cold foam

Local coffee with a very knowledgeable staff of baristas. Their in-house syrups are delicious, I HIGHLY recommend the honey cinnamon iced latte or have them make you a perfect cold foam for your cold brew! The flavoring is perfect for a not too sweet treat

SO GOOD! me and my boyfriend were passing through kentucky and stopped in paducah. this coffee shop is small but mighty! i got an iced vanilla latte with oat milk and it was great! my boyfriend decided to be adventurous and got the shirley temple matcha and it was DIVINE!! great customer service! 5 stars from me!!

Piper's doesn't just offer specialty brewed coffees and in-house hand blended teas, but a bright and refreshing atmosphere that you honestly just can't get enough off. This little nook in the Paducah Coke Plant is everything you never knew you needed in a coffee house. You're likely to have a warm welcoming hello from any of the baristas here. Ask to enjoy your drink in house and they will fix it in the cutest glass or mug. If you're wanting to get some work done, no worries, they have a cozy little room away from the counter for that. When you stop in, make sure to ask what they're weekly special is. They always have something magical crafted up. Today, I opted for a iced mint matcha. I used to not care much for matcha, but something about the hint of mint really sets it off for me and I definitely recommend it. Piper's is truly a Paducah gem and I hope everyone, whether local or just passing through takes the time to partake in her!

Great service and atmosphere. Would love to go there when they have live music. The bandstand is outdoors

Parking is an issue. Good coffee but the place is very small so if you go when it's busy, very crowded

To expensive for what you get. Also they make you feel awful if you want to change something in your drink. Overall the area was clean.

Instead, it ended up being one of the more disappointing bakery experiences I've had. We walked in to a display case that was almost empty and a line that felt more like a suggestion than anything organized. After waiting longer than expected, I ordered a French cake donut--what I received was surprisingly small, closer to a sample than something you'd expect to pay for. The service, though, was the real standout--and not in a good way. The employee helping us seemed clearly annoyed from the start. Basic, reasonable requests were met with visible irritation, and the overall attitude made it feel like we were inconveniencing them just by being there. That kind of interaction sticks with you more than the food does. What really added to the confusion was noticing trays of fresh, better-looking donuts behind the counter as we were leaving--none of which were available or mentioned while ordering. Yes, the prices are lower than other places, but the portions reflect that, and the service makes it hard to justify even a quick stop. I can understand people having fond memories of this place, but based on this visit, it doesn't hold up.

This one popped up so I stopped in. I guess there are multiple rooms here, one part is a restaurant and then there is a bakery. I only was in the bakery. They have a lot to choose from. Some stuff is sitting on the counter in the open which was odd and at one point I thought maybe they were samples but they were full sized items so I think they were for sale. Anyway I decided to order a few items. I ordered some kind of brownie. I think it was called the all good bar. It's a brownie with walnuts in it, then a peanut butter layer on top of it and a layer of chocolate ganache on top of that. It's a buckeye in brownie form and it's amazing. It could easily go into the way too sweet territory but it doesn't. It's perfect. One or two bites satisfies a sweet tooth. So I took a few bites over 2-3 days. I wish I had more. I also ordered I think it was called a basket. It was pastry puff dough in a rectangle with cream cheese in the center and very thin slices of apple on top. I brought that home and heated it up in our airfryer for 3-4 minutes and let me tell you it was one of the best things I've eaten all year. And I've had some really delicious food this year. I wanted to cry. It was that good. Unbelievable. I wanted to scarf it down and also take my time because I didn't want to not have it. The last thing I bought was a two pack of their iced shortbread cookies. They were right by the register and maybe on sale and I figured why not. These took me back to childhood. There was a bakery near us in Ohio called 'taste and tell'. They had the best iced cookies. I'm 43 and I still think about them. That place closed probably 30 years ago? I took a bite of these cookies and time traveled to 'taste and tell'. Whatever recipe they use is the same. They are so good!! Out of the three items I bought I didn't have a favorite because everything was amazing in its own right. The brownie was rich and sweet and decadent and had crunchy and creamy and perfection. The basket was 10/10 pure heaven and the cookies were a blast from the past of one of my favorite childhood treats. I'm both sad and happy that this place is so far from me because i want to be there everyday. I will definitely be back to empty the bakery case and also to try and sandwich or soup or real food too.
