Not for Coffee enthusiasts , but the Bourbon Vanilla Latte is Decent. If you decide to stop here, do yourself a favor and order the bourbon vanilla latte.. and that's it. It's a decent drink, but calling it proper coffee would be a stretch. The biggest disappointment is the lack of craft. Their machine pulls the shots for the "barista," meaning there's no real skill or artistry involved... just pushing a button. For us, this really takes away from the experience. As cortado lovers, we gave theirs a shot, and it was a complete miss. Watery, poorly textured milk, and no effort at all in presentation. To top it off, they don't even serve it in a proper cortado cup!! It came in a full sized cappuccino cup, which just looked ridiculous. We can't recommend this spot for anyone who appreciates well crafted coffee, but if you're in need of a quick caffeine fix and have no other options, the bourbon vanilla latte is the safest bet. read more

This place is the best. Often go through Paducah while traveling. Serious loss to miss out on Americano, Provencial Earl Grey, and savory scone. I am delighted to be in my way there. Service is great- moves along well. I greatly enjoy the larger location. Parking can be a challenge. Try it out! You will return. read more

The cutest little coffee shop! It's tastefully seasonally decorated for fall/halloween right now and has great ambiance. My drink was delicious and made with care. I did not try the food but the menu looked like it had something for everyone. I'll have to try the St. Louis location next! read more

I live almost 5 hours away, but when I'm in Puducha, this is my go to! I absolutely love my dirty leaf (matcha latte with espresso) with the lavendar and chamomile syrup. I had to bring a bag of matcha home. We travel a lot and we do pour over in our sprinter van, and now I can have matcha when I travel. This is some of the best! The building which houses this cafe (as well as a Mellow Mushroom and probably other businesses) is a quite splendid historic brick structure, and the cafe creatively uses a couple of small, awkwardly shaped rooms to give guests some places to sit. The drink menu is fairly extensive, and I considered a variety of tea-based options. My London Fog was the sort of understated but satisfying flavor one hopes for. There was some hint of food options, but I saw none evident, and I didn't come for pastries. Server was friendly. The Maple - Vanilla Latte was deliciously rich. I had a pumpkin swirl pastry from the local bakery that was flavored perfectly and baked to airy perfection- with a light yet creamy buttercream swirl. We come to Padua a couple of times a year. Traveling in the areas and wanted to support small coffee shop. Building is amazing. It's in an old Coca Cola building with lots of history and charm. Service was somewhat slow and the guys behind the counter were a bit overwhelmed and also having an important conversation with friends about HP movies beliefs. Took a really long time to get our two iced drinks. Coffee was a bit bitter and almost tasted burnt. Both the iced latte and cold brew were just really off. Will keep supporting small business instead of the big guys from Seattle, maybe just not this one. read more

Ask to enjoy your drink in house and they will fix it in the cutest glass or mug. If you're wanting to get some work done, no worries, they have a cozy little room away from the counter for that. When you stop in, make sure to ask what they're weekly special is. They always have something magical crafted up. Today, I opted for a iced mint matcha. I used to not care much for matcha, but something about the hint of mint really sets it off for me and I definitely recommend it. A very pleasant find. Everything about Piper's made me wish to go back when I'm in the area. This is my takeaway from my experience. 1. THE COFFEE: Iced espresso was the best I've had in recent memory. Perfect pull and great flavors all around. I added in some house made simple syrup and half & half after tasting it without, and it was just wonderful. 2. THE STAFF: Every employee was friendly and wanted to talk about the coffee shop, its history, and to know your story. Very welcoming and a nice bonus. 3. THE LOCATION: Such a cool place, with a lot of history. Nestled in the corner of an old Coca-Cola manufacturing warehouse, it was vibey, unique, and fun. They offer what is probably the best 8oz mocha in existence, and their 50 Greys tea is also a top favorite! Still probably the best coffee in town, but lately my pour-overs have been a bit on the weak side. I don't know if it's the speed of the pour, or the grind, etc, but Piper's should send a spy down to Shaffer Coffee in Murray, KY--they use the same beans (and maybe even have the same owner, not sure) but they can seem to consistently produce better pour-overs. read more

This is the best coffee and tea in town (and beyond in my opinion). Warning: This place is addictive, I am there almost every day. The baristas are awesome and give the best advice, they know their stuff! Pipers also has several seasonal drinks like the cold brew cream soda and the pumpkin spice latte. (I can't wait for winter, the hot chocolate is insanely good with the marshmallows they have-seasonal availability) My personal favorites are the regenerate tea, mint chocolate matcha , and for extra long study sessions or a long night out the cold brew or dirty chai always does the trick. This place was a little difficult to find but you enter at the corner of the Coca Cola building. The coffee here was delicious. I got the seasonal flat black which was steaming hot with a cool layer of sweet cream on top. It was a great combination. The bagel was ok but they didn't warm it or offer cream cheese. There were a few other pastry options, but not many. I'd definitely recommend it for a coffee stop but maybe somewhere else for breakfast. read more
