Homemade pastries which were sold out on Friday and I got to try a strawberry pop tart on Saturday and I see why they are sold out. The coffee was amazing. I had the salt and light latte and then a maple brown sugar latte. The first was a little sweet, but I don't like much sugar so I went half sweet on the second and it was perfect! We had the breakfast sandwich with fried potatoes which are the best I've ever had. My husband had the burger and fries and both were excellent. All of it was well worth the drive and price. The freshness of the food is evident, and the menu is simple and thoughtful. The small touches like pickled red onions and truffle aioli on the breakfast sandwich prove they know flavor. You absolutely cannot miss the fried potatoes, which are perfectly brown and crispy even when you get them to go. The pastry case is another highlight, full of fun options like homemade poptarts and chocolate croissants. I've never had a bad meal here, and the staff are always incredibly kind when I come in. Best yet, they're one of the only places in town to embrace online ordering, which I greatly appreciate. And it was packed with flavor and vitamins, all healthy for me and baby. I was stoked to give it a try. Aside from shakes, Downtown Nutrition offers smoothies, teas, energy drinks, snacks, protein, and more. They just had a "make your own tea" event last week and seem fairly involved in the community. The owner is creating a space in the front of the shop that's super child friendly, so it will be the perfect place to bring your kiddo to meet up with other moms.
