Yelp had a little come and go event here and it was my first time visiting. A great place with a…read morereal communal vibe. We got a couple drinks (I forgot to take a picture) as well as a warmed cookie. Staff were friendly and personable! It was really nice in comparison all of the snow and ice we had just gotten. The only thing I'll note is that it has very limited seating and parking was not the best. Parking was kind of typical for the area, but there are maybe 8-10 spots and basically no standing/waiting area. Despite that, it's got some interesting spots right next door (I think one was a library/bookstore). I could see it being a little afternoon adventure.

Yellow Table has been open for just over a year in the Eastwood Village complex that seemingly overnight brought us a coworking space, cute plant shop, wine bar, book shop, etc, and Yellow Table really rounds it out as the lone spot in this area for breakfast, coffee, or lunch. The vibe is cozy neighborhood cafe, and the service is always welcoming and incredibly personable (I almost always see the owner herself serving up food to customers with a smile!) The food is what truly stands out to me about this spot. I fell in love with buckwheat crepes on a trip to France a few years ago but there are few places in Nashville serving decent crepes, let alone buckwheat ones. Yellow Table offers sweet and savory crepe options, all cooked perfectly lightly crispy and fresh with that incredible nutty buckwheat flavor, exactly how it should be done. My favorites have been the savory crepes, particularly the build your own with prosciutto, leek, spinach, and cheddar - a filling, tasty, and decently healthy option for $15. There's also coffee and tea, pastries, salads, soups (with bread from the amazing wine bar next door), and rotating specials each day. There's limited seating: a few two or three person tables and one shared table inside; in warmer months there are also a few small tables outside. But the WiFi is decent and I see a lot of folks coming here to do a bit of work while grabbing a bite. In just a year Yellow Table Cafe has already made itself an indelible East Nashville neighborhood gem. With the tastiest crepes to grace the Nashville dining scene, chill vibes, warm service, and reasonable prices, here's to hoping for many more wonderful years serving the community for this spot!
