A while ago a co-worker mentioned Mugsy's was the best coffee around and Veteran owned. Yesterday afternoon was slowing down for me so I swung by to get a cup. I was pleasantly surprised at how big the menu was! After looking it over I settled on a Screaming Blonde. It was exactly what I needed! Damn good cup of coffee! What a hidden gem, this place is incredible. The cafe is spacious and welcoming, perfect for settling in to get some work done. The scent of freshly roasted coffee fills the air since they roast on-site. I had their signature drink for the coffee crawl and it was easily one of my favorites. We also ordered breakfast sandwiches, which came out fast and were delicious. The staff was friendly and efficient, making the whole visit smooth and enjoyable. I've been coming here for years and the coffee and food is so delicious. Everyone one who works there are always so nice.

While visiting our son at Fort Campbell, we stopped at this store on the way to the airport the last day of our visit. Our daughter-in-law wanted to try this place, so I didn't protest when we found the prices were a bit high (no big deal in and of itself). A few miles down the road, my wife found that her plastic cup had a split and it leaked all over her and the seat of my son's car, but we couldn't go back and just had to pour out her overpriced drink. Then we get back home and the next day I receive an email soliciting my birthday. What??? I had paid with a debit card and apparently their system had searched out my email from that to solicit even more personal information about me. That's not charming, it's creepy. There is no way I could ever support a place that engages in marketing tactics that infringe on customers' privacy. That's three strikes. Prices-fail. Leaky cup-fail. They have an app! It's great! They have 15% & 10% discounts on the app. I've been here 2x. I highly recommend the Bagel, avocado, cream cheese, bacon! It's a huge blood pressure raiser but worth to die for it. I ordered just bacon and it tasted like microwave bacon. Dunken Donuts has better bacon than this. Their Asiago bagel is cheesy! But their toaster isn't as toasty as they claim. I would try again. It's a hit or miss. At least you can add comments to anything on the app. My coffee isn't still as great as I would like it to be. I get my best A's here I come in and sit in the study area for three hours almost everyday and I can tell, it's a nice calm and welcoming environment, the food is amazing and warm, you can change anything sub anything. And the staff are great, they are always joking with each-other but when there is a customer in the drive though or someone coming in they switch to the nice and welcoming customer is here mode. read more

Went through the drive thru & was having a hard time interpreting their menu. Which I told the lady & she didn't really help explain it either. My coffee tastes burnt. I don't think I saw a smile from either the barista or the lady who took my order, just kind of dead stares. Nobody was rude but nobody was nice either. I felt like an inconvenience. This is a WAYYYYY delayed review but all I can say is that I miss Mugsy's Coffee sooo much. Their amazing customer service, their delicious variety of simple to extravagant hot or cold drinks, their scrumptious snacks, and just the fresh, homey environment. Mugsy's Coffee is a cool local spot with a variety of drinks and food for one to buy and during my visit I purchased an Iced coffee and frozen chai tea drink. The drinks themselves were good with a nice robust coffee flavor in the iced coffee and the chai tea has just the right amount sweetness. The drinks are made to order so the drive through was pretty backed up but I appreciate the friendliness of the staff and quality of the drinks. Definitely patronize Mugsy's because they have some solid coffee which according to the barista is roasted in house which is a pretty neat thing to have in Clarksville. Really good coffee and breakfast sandwiches, it made me wonder why I waited so long to try it. I highly recommend it. There coffee selection is huge and the coffee is always fresh! Consistently good food and drinks. The reason I gave it 4 stars is because there is one employee that is rude every time I've seen her working there. The staff is always friendly with her going through the drive-through or going into the business. Mugsy's is probably the best lounge coffee place in Clarksville. A large area with big couches, board games and free wi-fi. For a place to curl up and work on your novel it fits the spot. I didn't stick around though because I wanted to pop in for a quick cafeeine pick me up and some food before hitting the road last weekend and came in early on Saturday morning when it was empty. We were greeted with 'We're all out of coffee.' My friend said tea would be fine and she replied with 'we're all out of tea' as well. It took my him about 15 minutes and me telling him that she was being sarcastic that he came to realize they were just being snarky. Unfortunately, at this point he had settled on a bottled Diet Coke. We got bagel sandwiches for breakfast and they were all right. I got the sausage egg and cheese on everything bagel and at first I thought the egg was missing, but the sausage was covered in the egg itself which was an interesting twist. Everything bagel though was just all right, not quite the explosion of flavor I expect an ET bagel to be. If I was here to while away a few free hours to drink warm beverages and surf the net I could see it being rated higher so, I may do just that on another weekend. read more

I've passed this place so many times and I always mention to my husband that we should drop in, since he loves coffee and it's on his way to work. He called me and asked if I could pick him up some coffee because he was falling asleep in class. I was like yay I'll try this place! Service is everything to me!! If the service is amazing I have been known to forgive many things, but in this case the service was... well the lonely star speaks for itself. The blonde girl was helpful and sweet but the girl with the curly hair was so rude it was uncomfortable to be in there just long enough to wait for my order. You know when you smile and your nice and you look someone right in the face and say something nice or just to make small talk because it's weird just to stand there... then they look at you like you aren't good enough to talk to them.. yeah it was so awkward and so silent that I seriously thought maybe she was deaf or a mute.... until she started laughing and joking with her coworker.. like really?!? Ok sorry I bothered you with my service. The only reason I left a tip was because I hope the nice girl gets it but I'm sure they dare which is whatever. My husband got the coffee said it was meh so I don't think we will be back. I'll stick with Lasaters it's closer to home, and they are like chick-fil-a nice. read more

I absolutely love the coffee and customer service I receive from Mugsy's. My favorite coffee for home brewing is the Highlander Grog, it's aromatic and delicious. Being am a dark roast coffee drinker, I order a different bag of dark roast for an opportunity to find a favorite! They have all been delicious, so I do not have a favorite dark roast yet. The online ordering system is easy, safe and fast. I usually receive my coffee the same day I order it.
