I usually love PJ's but my experience at this store was subpar. It was relatively clean, some straw papers & napkins on the floor, bathrooms were tidy enough. I waited too long for my pizza which somehow happened to be cold anyway. I addressed with the manager,... "Lake" ...or maybe it's Pond ...some body of water. I do not know where good reviews come in for fast food pizza?- if you like dominos, Pizza Hut or little ceasers- you are going to love this pizza. This just ain't for me - processed with no spice or flavor- don't really care for butter garlic sauce as I happen to enjoy my blood flowing through my veins. I love pizza but there is no way I would pay more than $7.00 for this pizza (large) -for $20 I am going for the real zA.. Dominos has lunch pizza for $5.00 it is the same thing... Karey or carey was so rude and processed to talk bad about me in front of me to her employees because I told her I came to pick up an order under my name, I had placed the order through Uber eats. It was my first time and didn't know I had to mention Uber eats, she gave me attitude saying you should have told me it was Uber eats ( mind you first time didn't know ) so I said "I'm sorry next ill for sure say that Jesus" I was a little annoyed w the attitude, after I said that she was talking about me saying and make sure you have all her stuff together because it's an Uber eats. We all know Papa John's for what it is. We order pizza probably about once a week, usually from a neighborhood kind of place. But we usually go to the Papa John's every so often. The food quality has improved a bit. I have to say the customer service is one of the worst I have seen. It is pretty normal for them to "forget" sauces you paid for. But the worst is the drivers. Last delivery I got, the delivery guy shoved my receipt in my face as soon as I opened the door, not even a hello or anything. The only reaction was when I asked is all the sauces there? All he said in a rude tone was, "Of course" Not so. I have yet to receive a call back. I'm done with them. Out of chances. No coupon makes up for rude service. Perhaps they should realize you will get better tips with better service. Unique concept I know. Funny how I never get missing items or rude service when I order from Rosatis or Jimanos...... read more

I just ordered a pizza from here and I needed to respectfully cancel my order due to circumstances and the manger (don't know his name but it was male) told me to go f*** myself and charged my card regardless of the circumstance and told me that I could no longer order there and asked me with a sharp voice multiple times "so what do you expect me to do, just throw the pizza away?" (Mind you this was five minutes or less after placing the order when the wait time was long). Would never order from here again even if I was allowed. read more

Tried ordering the new Cheeseburger pizza online which it wouldn't let me. I called them and was on hold for 5 minutes before being hung up on, had to call them back only to find out they were out of tomatoes so they weren't selling the Cheeseburger. Not sure why they couldn't run to the grocery store not even 1/2 mile down the road and get some tomatoes. I expected better from Papa John's. read more

One star because I can't give zero...I just had an indescribably terrible experience with this restaurant. I read through the reviews on here and wasn't surprised that one claimed the manager told them to 'go f*** themselves' because that is basically what happened to me. I ordered a pizza, and the wrong pizza was delivered to me. The sticker on the box was correct but the pizza was wrong. When I called back, they explained what must have happened, but never said they were sorry. I was pretty understanding, but I did ask if they could send some fresh breadsticks with my pizza as mine would be cold by the time they got there. Now, the person I was talking to could have apologized and said that they could not send me fresh breadsticks, but instead they got an attitude and instantly the entire interaction changed. The person, who I later found out was a 'manager' (if she was telling the truth) named 'Carrie' (if she was telling the truth) started to raise her voice and speak to me extremely inappropriately. She told me that if it was her, she would eat the breadsticks while I wait for the pizza (in a rude tone), I calmly explained that personally I didn't want to fill up on breadsticks before my pizza arrived. I maintained my calm, and never swore or raised my voice, so the way that I was spoken to was extremely inappropriate. She commented that she was going to send me a new pizza and breadsticks 'for free' so she didn't know what the problem was. I asked her if that meant she was giving me a refund, and she promptly hung up on me. I called back because the problem still wasn't resolved...I didn't know if I was receiving a pizza, didn't know if I was getting a refund...our interaction wasn't complete. She told me I could either have a refund or the pizza, and I told her that that was fine, but then the pizza and breadsticks weren't actually 'free'...it was just my original order that I had paid for, that I was getting much later than planned. I understand that she was letting me keep the mistake pizza and breadsticks...but I wasn't going to eat either of them. I still don't consider that 'free'. The most appropriate action in this circumstance would be to send me my correct order, and probably throw in some kind of coupon or refund because of the mistake. All I was asking for was my correct order, but good customer service tries to make things right and leave a positive impression on the customer. I know other restaurants will give out a coupon for a future order to make up for a mistake. As the conversation escalated (on her side, not on mine), I asked her for her supervisor's name, and/or the owner of the franchise's name and she let me know that I could get that information from corporate. I am not one to usually call corporate OR write Yelp reviews...but I was honestly in such disbelief over how I was treated that I did both. I like Papa John's pizza, but I do not need it that badly in my life to support customer service that is so terrible. She accused me of harassing her when I called back, which is ridiculous because I was just trying to get my issue resolved, and I wasn't the one being disrespectful or raising my voice, she was. I know I'm only one customer and they probably don't care about losing one customer, but I am not going to be ordering Papa John's from this location ever again. I am undecided about other locations. I've never experience this poor of service from another Papa John's...but I don't know. If this location has someone this terrible, I don't know if the company deserves my business, unless they address this issue. I ended up having them send my correct order instead of a refund, but I'm not sure that was the right choice. I'm honestly afraid to eat the pizza at this point. The delivery guy was very nice and told me that he was there when my pizza was remade, but I just don't think I feel like eating it at this point. I don't trust the pizza if it came from that person, and I guess I've lost my appetite as well. No one should be spoken to the way that I was spoken to, I would like to just feel bad for the woman and assume that she was having a bad day, but I just want to put this out there for someone else to avoid the experience that I just had. Even if you are having a bad day, you still have to suck it up and do your job. Carrie, I hope you are reading this, and I hope that you learn from this experience. And if you don't, I hope that Papa John's will realize that they are better off without you. Corporate told me that the owner will call me within 24-48 hours. This is the only place my husband and I will order pizza from. The coupons are great so much so that I don't remember the last time I bought a pizza at full price. We both have dairy allergies and our orders always come correctly without cheese and they even cut the pizza with a clean cutter to minimize cross contamination. The reason it's not a full five stars for me is because every once in a while our pizzas come slightly undercooked. read more

I was kinda unsure but it tured out to be good pizza. I ordered online and it turned out really great. I would suggest looking around for some online codes. I did, and got some free cheese sticks added to my order. Just put all your info online and choose pick up or carry out. I picked "pick up" and went to pick it up in about 20 mins. Worked out great for some cheap pizza that is pretty good. Plus a free food coma. read more
