Can't think of any reason not to give it all five stars. First time I ordered from here, and I had a craving for a pizza. Got the thin crust spinach vegetarian. It had tomatoes, mushrooms, spinach and onions(tons of onions). I will say they could have had more spinach and mushrooms and far fewer onions. The proportion seemed a bit off on that, but still, very tasty. Also it was a little soggy after the pizza say around at home a while, I suspect from the little tomato chunks. I ordered and picked up and was a bit early but it was hot and ready to go. I will definitely go back and it's so convenient I may have to try a salad to go in a time pinch sometime. So the timeline was fast order was easy pizza cooked good. The taste lacks. The honey mustard was just. Vinegar and GROSS. The bbq is a bad combination of open pit and something else. Not a good combo fries ok chicken was good and the sausage pizza good. But the sauce can break it in this case it did. read more

Flew into town for the weekend and after some deliberation of my usual pizzerias, I decided to try Jimano's pizza. I ordered a 12" thin crust pepperoni and sausage pizza with fries. I mentioned that that based on the hotel I was staying at, there was a 10% discount. The order taker was unaware of the coupon but honored it anyway. The pizza is good but unfortunately the french fries were overcooked and hard. The delivery was faster than expected and the delivery driver was exceptional. All in all...not bad! read more

We were out in McHenry delivering an order for our business and we saw this restaurant on the way there. On the way back home we decided to dine in for a late lunch. My husband loves thin crust pizza so we ordered the 16" thin crust Meat Maniac pizza (Italian Sausage, Canadian Bacon, Ground Beef, Bacon, and Pepperoni) while we were waiting we took some pictures of the decor and dining areas. We were the only ones dining inside but it was definitely in between meal time (3pm). The booths are very comfortable too! Wow the pizza was sooo good!! The crust was nice and crispy and was not over cooked. It took us a while to eat but every bite was just as crispy and delicious as the first one. Everyone working here is very nice! The soda machine is out of order. I ordered iced tea but they did not have any ice, so it did not taste too good. I was just about to get up to complain and the lady who took our order was on the way to our table with two complementary bottles of ice cold spring water! That was so sweet of her. We are in the area often... I can see this pizza place is going to become one of our favorite stops! FYI... moms of babies will like the bathroom... it has a fold down baby changing table. read more

Great slices of pizza. The sauce has good acidity and the crust is good and not too greasy. They have good deals along with a punch card. The staff is friendly and polite. Also, they have a dining room that you can sit at eat in if you're interested. read more

I ordered a pizza with sausage, mushrooms & green peppers along with an order of breadsticks. While the pizza was good, they have been skimping on the vegetables. There were hardly any mushrooms & only 8 tiny slices of green pepper. Breadsticks were good, and they give you quite a bit. Located in the Parkview Plaza just north of Bull Valley road, Jimano's is a nice place that sells pizza by the slice. The pizza is a bit thicker than the usual thin crust; I think it's the double dough that is on their menu. The slices are vary large and tasty and come with a pop for $3.99, so for $4.27 (tax) you've got a meal. I'm trying to stick with places that offer meals for around $5 and this fits the bill. I had the pepperoni and it was great and I like the fact they charge the same price no matter what kind you get. They also have beef sandwiches, salads, pasta, etc. and they carry Miller products and Corona. read more

I LOVE Jimano's. Several years ago after Old Town (formerly Taylor Street) separated from the franchise and changed their recipe, my family and I were in search of a good pie in the area. We tried every pizza joint and continued to be disappointed. When we found Jimano's, we were happy campers. Not only are they quick, but their food is consistent in quality. The ingredients are balanced (not too much of one thing) and the sausage/meats are not overpowering in flavor. The mushrooms are FRESH - not canned! (Win!) While I am not personally a fan of their bread sticks, my mom LOVES them. You really notice the garlicy goodness even moreso when they're leftover/cold. I placed an order last weekend for a 18" thin crust with 3 toppings, an order of garlic bread sticks, and fried mushrooms, and my total was $30 and change. The guy who took my order asked if I had a coupon (I didn't; I was in the car on my way up), and lovingly applied the discount. I love that! They're always friendly, actually. Last year when we had a crazy snow storm we DID order Jimano's to be delivered, and our delivery guy was on time and smiley! Yelpers, "Check In" on your phone and get a discount! We ordered pizza here and it was good, a couple weeks later we ordered again and one item was an Italian beef it was nasty to say the least. Who in their right mind cuts up semi cooked hard green peppers and mixes it in with the beef? I told them on facebook if they wanted the best Italian beef in the county then go to Alex's in McHenry. One more time we ordered a few weeks later the mostaccioli it was dry as if they had to sparingly save on the sauce. So we spent around 90-100 dollars in all for the three deliveries. I can here on a Sunday, I just wanted to see what they had. The added bonus ( plus one star!!!) they had kids meals for my 3 kiddos! So I ordered a giant slice of pizza ( and I mean giant!!!!) breadsticks, and a soda. Aubrey, my oldest, ordered Chicken Tenders and Fries. Daniel, my middle, ordered Hot Dog and French Fries. I have been ordering Jimanos for 6 years and today will be my last. I ordered a buffalo chicken salad like I have done for 6 years and today it was absolutely awful. I don't known if the changed it in the last month but tasted like old chicken was just ripped up and thrown in a gallon of sauce. 3/4 of my salad was chicken and the other 1/4 was salad full of buffalo sauce. I had to throw it out after 3 bites. The fried chicken the rest of my family ordered tasted like it sat out all day. This place has gone downhill from tonight's experience and it will be my last. This Jimano's makes the best pizza I have ever had. No mind you, I love a crust that is thin, really thin. If I want to eat bread, I'll buy a loaf. These guys make it thin! The sausage, which I always order, is perfect with a nice helping of sausage and good balance of cheeses. And they have steak fries! There is no fry I love better than steak fries and these are some of the best I've had. My wife has had their pulled pork as well as their chicken parmesan dinner and likes them both. And they are fast, always within an hour, it's always hot (even though we're not that close), and they are always polite. Never a problem! read more

I have only ordered from them once, so I can only speak for the two items that I tried. Based on this single experience, I am giving it 5 stars. Fried mushroom appetizer: Delicious! Crispy on the outside, moist and fresh on the inside. Not too greasy. Spinach Vegetarian thin crust pizza: Ingredients were very fresh. Even having leftover pizza slices the following day I couldn't help but notice the burst of fresh basil flavor. A good amount of spinach, enough so you can taste it but without smothering the pizza. Definitely a good blend of cheeses. And the crust was so thin! I ended up getting full on flavorful ingredients instead of just dough. Like the fried mushrooms, the pizza was not overly greasy. There are limited options in McHenry when it comes to getting pizza quickly. We got the Supreme pizza which had mushrooms, green peppers, onions and olives and to be truthful... it was a little dry. I would have liked more sauce and the cheese was not spread out as far as it could have been. It had nice flavor just wished there was a little more sauce and cheese! Our order taker said the wings were "really good" when I asked so we ordered 20 of the them. They didn't come with any carrots or celery sticks and the blue cheese dressing was kinda gross. No chunks of cheese, bad texture and the wings weren't very meaty. Even with that being said, I'm sure I'm order again just because they are so close. The pizza is tasty! Love the deep dish pizza, but disappointed in the "lack" in amount of the toppings on the pizza. Spent $ 26 for. 14" deep dish and it had maybe a 1/4 cup of sausage on the entire pizza. To start off the person who took my call, Ryan, was an amazing help. They offered to deliver up to ten miles and confirmed our order after checking the distance to deliver to us. They said it'd be about an hour and we were perfectly okay with that. An hour and a half rolls by and we get a call that it is now too far and the driver refused to deliver to us. I hope their management figures out their delivery radius or not falsely advertise its offering and refusing to follow through, it comes off unprofessional. The pizza at Jimano's Pizzeria is quite good but I'll never use them again after a negative delivery experience. We ordered pizza for a get together and after 45 minutes it arrived, with the pizza's toppings (including cheese) slid to one side of the pizza. The deliverer apologized and suggested we contact the shop and complain if we weren't satisfied. We did make that call. They agreed to send us a new pizza with toppings of our choice. 45 minutes later the new pizza arrived. This time the deliverer asked for the original pizza back! With a house of adults and children, we were supposed to SAVE a damaged pizza and make folks wait two hours to eat? We told them they weren't going to get the pizza. The nerve of them to ask for their damaged pizza back after knowingly delivering it to us like that! We won't be using them again. read more
