Service was very slow 15 minutes for are drinks 1 beer 1 wine I ordered shrimp in wine sauce 5 over cooked shrimp hardly any sauce and a 8 inch high mound of dry unsause spaghetti!!!!! Phenomenal meal! One of the best I have had in the area. We were seated immediately. Got bread to start and ordered the calamari. It was lightly breaded, not and delicious. Nothing but the best things to say! We come here once a year on our annual girls trip and every experience is better than the last. The food is absolutely top tier incredible every time--but the service!!! Some bad weather was predicted and Nicole called in advance to make sure we'd still be comfortable on the patio but we weren't sure at the moment so she contacted again right before to put us in the perfect covered patio spot. Took a gamble on doing a walk-in late on Mother's Day and the hostess was more than friendly enough to find me and my guest a table. Walking into this restaurant to court takes you to real world Italy. The service was outstanding, and the food was simply delicious. Upon arrival we asked to be moved outside but were told all tables were taken. We asked twice during our meal to move outside but were given the same response. At no time during our stay did anyone even approach the table. Very disappointing. We had pasta, fish and Mac and cheese (children's). All was good but nothing special. I went to this restaurant for the first time on Friday evening. I was a bit hesitant reading the reviews before I came here however I was pleasantly surprised. The outdoor area was really nice and also heated well. The waitress was nice and attentive. The French martini was fabulous. The caprese salad and saganaki were both ample and very good. The lasagna and same with the stuffed chicken with spinach and cheese I shared with my friend were also very good as well. I will definitely be back! read more

Have always loved bimbos, and still do. But I got the dish with the shrimp and the marinara sauce. It was awful. There was so much sauce that you couldn't even see the plate. I couldn't even eat it. I ate the shrimp, of which there were only five. That is definitely not worth the money. However, my other four friends that were with me really enjoyed what they had, and I should've gotten what they had. Because I do love their food there. My wife and I had diner at Bimbos this evening. We haven't been there in almost a year. To no surprise the food was as good as always. The drinks were perfect, the appetizers (meatballs and Saganaki) were delicious and our main entrees (lasagna and New York Strip) were perfectly prepared and plentiful. The best part of the experience though was our server, Sophie. She was just a delight from the time she introduced herself all the way through our dinner. Always with a smile, making sure we had what we needed. She made us feel like we have known her forever. We will definitely ask for her on any return trips. Went here yesterday a bit grudgingly because why would anyone go to a restaurant named Bimbos? Well I can honestly say, because the food is very good. My brother and I sat outside with a view of the river.The deck is nice and has fabric curtains if the sun is too harsh and needs to be blocked. He ordered the sausage and pepper appetizer, and a side salad. It looked really good, he loved it, and it was a very large portion that if you ordered as an appetizer could feed two and easily more. Salads were very good but there is a dollar uncharge for blue cheese which we were not informed of, but oh well, it's a dollar. Nowadays that doesn't amount to much of a problem, imo. I had the salmon, with zucchini and baked potato and a salad. Lots of food and all of it really good. The salmon was cooked just right, which to me means not overcooked and dry, but not raw anywhere inside either. The baked potato was good too. How can you mess up a baked potato you ask? I've had a few at other restaurants that tasted reheated, or not cooked at all. This one was perfect, and the veggies were nice and fresh. The have alcohol but I just had water to drink. I went in with low expectations so I dod not take pictures and when food arrived I actually enjoyed eating so much ... pictures? What pictures. Our waitress was wonderful. Good timing on checking on us etc., and prices run pretty much in low twenties for entrees including choice of starch and veggie of the day. read more

We've been to Bimbo's several times both with and without kids. It's great for a date night or with the family. When you walk in there is nice looking bar to your left . The restaurant is a smaller narrow space which I like because I prefer smaller spaces. The hostess was extremely friendly and offered us a spot in a quieter room which appears to be behind the bar or in the room that is beyond the bar. We enjoy more noise so we went with the room beyond the bar. Some may think it's too loud but personally I think the place has nice energy! They had a 70's radio station playing and I loved it! I ordered the lobster ravioli and I really enjoyed. My son ordered the filet medium rare and it was cooked perfectly . Food arrived quickly and service was good . read more
