Ordered a pizza for delivery at 1:30 on Sunday the 12th. I added a tip for the delivery driver and followed the preparation of the pizza on the app. When I saw that it was "ready," I assumed that it would be on the way shortly. THIRTY MINUTES LATER I drove to the shop and found two drivers parked in front (Door-Dash, I think). When I went inside, the manager (mis-manager) insisted that the order was for pickup, not delivery, so refused to refund the amount designated as a tip. It even had that on the box! read more

Today I had, for the first time, jalapeño poppers. A lot hotter than I expected. Next time I would get marinara sauce Vice garlic ranch. I truly enjoy Papa John's food and they have greatly improved over the past 7-years. My early experiences with Papa John's were unfavorable, not better taste using better ingredients, but they are greatly improved. I am now a regular customer to my nearest Papa John's store! I love all of their variety! And delivery service is excellent! read more

Wow. This place always has a special. I sat there and watched and listened. They cut everything there. It's super fresh. Dominos is so college. Cheap and gross but I can't figure out why I never see Pizza Hut delivery drivers on the road here in Leland. Dunno. But I see or pass several Papa J drivers all the time. Delivery time was expected for 35 to 45 min and 45 min is a long time for only being less than 2 miles away, I completely understand it may be slammed with business someday's, but getting your pizza delivered over an hour and a half later and a really cold pizza is completely un called for !!!! pizza now days took a big jump in price over the years, so when I pay $25 or even 35 or more, for a pizza order, you would expect quality service, So to Leland Papa Johns! There is absolutely no excuse for you to ever deliver a cold pizza !!! PS even the manager on duty that asked to speak with to was rude and completely unprofessional..... I went into the store and ask for their direct line and was told it has to go through the call center! I do NOT recommend this chain! That is unless you want to be frustrated. read more

One star since I can't do zero stars. Ordered ONE pizza from here since it's less than one mile down the road, and we were getting settled at the hotel. Called it in at 11:45 and was quoted a delivery time of 12:23-12:33 and clarified that they would deliver at that time even though it's after their closing time by 20 mins. Pizza never showed up- incredibly disappointed. Called back to find out what's going on and it won't patch through since it's closed. The first person who answered the phone was incredibly rude, and hung up mid ordering. The second person, a female, continuously interrupted while I was talking. Terrible customer service. read more

I love Papa John's normally, but this location has made me change my mind very quickly. When you wait for two hours for a pizza to be made, and delivered only fifteen minutes down the road from the business establishment(and I'm STILL waiting for the delivery), there is an issue. Everytime I order from there it's wrong. The food is not bad but there specific allergies and so we order specific food. But no... always wrong. It's not that hard. Can't be. Also I have notice that the delivery persons driving locally, never seem to use their turn signal. I just want to order my family some decent food when I can't fix it for them. Pizza was delivered timely and was great, but I am having a "heartburn" 3 days later- my personal information has not been secured properly so now the neighboring businesses are calling me to let that I overpaid for Papa John's. I ordered a pizza and it got here 30 mins after the ETA. I called and found out that the driver left on time but obviously had detours because I live only 5 mins away. I will not use door dash anymore if no one is responsible for these drivers to actually deliver on time. read more

This last time we ordered pizza from Papa Johns will be the last. We didn't even receive the pizza we ordered for delivery, we ended up calling another pizza place. I was told my pizza would be at my house within 40 min. It took an hour and a half before we just called and said forget it. No one at the store could seem to tell us when it would get to our house or didn't even know what was going on. This was not the only issue with this store. Several times they have forgot ingredients on the pizza we ordered. Wouldn't recommend this papa johns location to anyone. read more

I called in a order. First time eating at papa john's. I ordered a medium ham and pineapple. The crust was burnt and the ham pieces were very small and super dry. I ate three bites and stopped to call store to let them know how it was. The manager was rude and laughing. He said come get another one. Told him that is not what I wanted. He said that is what most people want. Told him I would like my money back. Called head quarters and for general manager and was told he would call with in 48 hours. No call so called back two more times with no call. I went into the store Nov. 20,2020. With the service and food I will never go back. The store is near Harris Teeter in Leland. read more
