I won't lie to you. I don't write reviews at all but this is horrible service. Ordered a delivery order and received the wrong order. Called store multiple times and each time have been placed on hold for over 10 minutes at least. This upsets me bc it was supposed to be for my pregnant wife who craved chicken topped pizza with stuffed crust, but instead got regular pepperoni. will never order from here again. Diarrhea from their pizza. Dough was undercooked (even though I asked for it well done). I put it back in the oven at home before eating, but it was still bad. Also, walked in hearing the workers complain about rude customers. Decided to be extra patient to cut them some slack, but they took their sweet time undercooking a pizza. What was a "4 minute wait" turned into a 15 minute wait. They're likely to respond, saying "the extra time was used to cook it longer/you wanted it well done" but that should have been done within the 4 minute ETA. And that extra cooking time wasn't even done, so my time was wasted by patience-abusing kids. Also, they make pizzas with no gloves, touching their AirPods often to turn on/off their music. Possible bits of earwax in this diarrhea-inducing mess of a stomach bomb. read more

had a really unpleasant experience here. Two of the workers (both emo-looking guys) were extremely rude and made me feel completely unwelcome. Instead of treating me with respect, they talked badly about me and even made comments about how I looked, saying I "look funny." That might not seem like much to them, but it was really hurtful and made me uncomfortable the entire time I was there. No customer should be made to feel like they don't belong. If this place wants to keep people coming back, they seriously need to hire workers who know how to treat others with kindness and professionalism. I left feeling upset instead of valued, and that's not how any business should run. read more

Truly a horrible pizza. Order our pizza on line the estimate time to be ready to be picked up stated 17-25 minutes. We live less than 5 miles. Hubby took off to pick up pizza as soon as it was ordered picked it up and got back home in 20 minutes after leaving. The pizza was dry and cold, the crest tasted like a cracker (thin crust) truly horrible won go back again. read more

Pizza isn't rocket science. The service is horrible!!! They can't get a simple order right it seems. I've gone to this location a handful of times, and every time the wait is 30-40 minutes longer than expected, every time. And it's not just me, when I go in every customer is upset because their orders are wrong or having to wait an excessive amount of time. Worst location in my opinion. read more

This is so disgusting. The photo doesn't do it justice. It is the longest hair just draped across the cheese bread like as if I asked for it as a topping. There is either zero quality control or it was done intentionally because it was literally the first thing you see when you open the box. Diabolical. I couldn't even eat it the pizza which was hairless because the hairy cheese bread totally killed my appetite. This pizza night vibe killer. read more

This location is horrible. 2 Deliveries in a row they have messed up my order. Today in particular is beyond embarrassing. Ordered a pepperoni pizza, wings, and a salad with ranch dressing. We got the pizza and wings and a box that on the label says was supposed to be the salad. HOWEVER this has to be a fucking joke. The cardboard box was empty. How someone can form the box and put a label it and put NOTHING on it and deliver it is beyond me. Never ordering from this place again. Embarrassing. read more

2nd order in 2 months people can't follow instructions with orders. No Alfredo sauce added for the last 2 orders and the only thing offered is half off my next order. Bad customer service experience. Never again manager was no help. Hung up on me and never picked up when I called back. read more

Ordered pizza for delivery. 5 lg pies. 1 hr later no email or update. Called in. Put on hold by a young lady. Have been listening to their horrific music 20 minutes now on hold. So 1 1/2 soon and on hold, no idea where my pizzas are. Trying to get a human to cancel order at this point. Franchise manager should be fired for ineptitude. This is disgraceful read more

Papa Johns Pizza - Still on hold and going strong. Would love to speak to a manager. Still no word on receipt of order although they want my payment. - Pizza Near Me - Laveen, Arizona

We usually don't have problems here but today's experience led me to leave this review. We ordered delivery with no contact, since we have been in quarantine due to COVID exposure. The delivery driver ignored this and came in close contact, thankfully we were wearing gloves and mask when answering the door. Not only that, but one of our pizza's was squished which the dude just said "sorry". Our wings quality seal was also ripped too. Please do better cause this is irritating, will definitely not order from this location for a while. read more

I ordered a simple Large pizza and they charged me 3 times! $30 for one pizza and when I asked for my money back they simply gave me a number to call. I used to love Papa John's Pizzas. Super disappointed! read more

The worst papa johns in the city. I ordered online came in after the APP told me my order was ready when I went inside they told me 5 minutes. After waiting 5 minutes I was then told they didn't know where my order was, maybe in the oven. I wasn't the only person waiting for 20-30 minutes extra. They need a new manager whoever is running the place doesn't know how to manage. read more

I do not recommend this papa johns to anyone. They are always saying driver came, was calling and knocked when driver never even showed up or called. Not only that, they started using Uber eats, post mates drivers to deliver for them. Worst customer service ever. No one sounds like they know what's going on. This has been the 4th time this has happened to me. No one ever calls you to inform you that your pizza isn't going to be delivered. read more

Two times in a row this place has messed up my order and the wait times are absolutely horrible. Don't come here!

What can I say ... Absolute worst experience dealing with any pizza chain. This place needs help! Ordered pizza and the crust was hard as a rock. Called and made a complaint and they tried to make it right. I was given 2 options 1 was to have to remake it and deliver it again or 2 store credit for future purchase. Finally, decided to cash in on that store credit. I called in and the moment I said I wanted to use my store credit I was spoken to with an attitude. When I asked for extra sauce. She responded "It's going to be extra!" Like geez just because I'm using my store credit doesn't mean I'm broke? Then I asked for delivery and she responded with like that'll be extra too. I'm like OK?! I'm not expecting everything to be free. Delivery took over an hour. Unacceptable! Pizza got here cold aF read more

I ordered a shaqarony but what I got was some sort of cardboard tasting pizza that I couldn't even separate the cheese. Papa Johns used to be good but now I would NEVER go back to them again. Ordered from here twice now... but never again. The pizza is underwhelming to say the least, no flavor, crust was burnt, just regrettable... bleh! read more

If you appreciate good customer service, SKIP THIS LOCATION!! A while ago we ordered three pizzas, paid for expedited delivery and they took WAY longer than the quoted time AND screwed up the pizza. I called in, they put two free pizzas AND free delivery. So tonight we called to redeem our two free pizzas, but still needed a third pizza. They then added a delivery fee! When I asked she told me that my two free pizzas had free delivery, but she HAD to charge me a delivery fee for the third pizza. WTF?!? Is this some kind of joke?? No. If I have free delivery, it's FREE DELIVERY! Delivery is charged per pizza ordered, it's a flat fee. This "new manager" Amanda was so rude, lacked any type of customer service, and finally yelled at me, "look! Do you want your free pizzas or not?!" NOPE. I'll skip ordering from you guys for the rest of eternity and will make sure to spread the word on how terrible the customer service is!! read more

I ordered a large chicken thin crust pizza for my mum, what I got was a disaster. The crust was burnt and obviously very very dry; there was barely any chicken on it, it had 1 or 2 pieces of chicker per slice; I paid for extra cheese, but what I got had barely enough of the original quantity of cheese. DISASTER, my mum couldn't even finish 1 slice and dad took 1 look and went to find something else to eat. read more

Not happy with the so advertised "contactless delivery" . . . First the seal wasn't on the boxes, and the young driver handed the box to my husband when we answered the door (extended her arm out to be as far as possible but still pointless to call contactless if someone is handing it out to you). I immediately called the store to complain about the seal, they verified we had selected the contactless option when ordering online, and all they could say was sorry the driver probably forgot to put the seal in the car before delivering for being rushed. I was disappointed because the commercials make it seem like the seal is to ensure the customers no one touches the pizza once it's out the oven, and by being in a rush also forgot the contactless delivery. All we experienced was false advertisement :( read more

My husband opened the pizza I ordered and started eating before I noticed that the spinach and tomato Alfredo pizza I ordered didn't have spinach. I went to the app to get a refund or discount like post mates but no luck. I called, waited, only to hear that they ran out of spinach so they just made it without it. Didn't even call us to ask what we'd prefer occur . AND since we bit off a slice, there was no longer any customer service required to provide any satisfaction. He explained that he went into his own pocket to go buy spinach at the store though. I guess he never bothered to let the staff know before making my pizza or calling me. Then the "manager" hung up. I don't think this happens in Scottsdale, Gilbert, or even Chandler, But this is what we get in Laveen my husband says time and time again... hmmmm I wonder why? They lost my business! Thank goodness we have better options right down the street.... read more

Don't bother dealing with this place, if you're lucky enough to even get your order in they will take an extra hour to get it to you. But tonight we had the pleasure of speaking with Tammy, the self proclaimed manager who couldn't help us when their ovens went down. Then the owner Chris got on the phone and refused to give us the number to corporate. Rude and incompetent staff, won't do business with another papa johns again. Customer Service is horrible at this Papa Johns. The owner of this specific Papa Johns in Laveen should be more involved. The staff is rude and cancel orders with no explanation at all on 3 attempts to order. Twice by DoorDash and when I called I was told I could come pick it up myself. DoorDash was unable to pick the order the other 2 times due to the staff canceling the order and telling the driver "it will take too long to make". read more

Found hair baked into the pizza, in the cheese. So disgusting!!! When I called in the said they would void the transaction and refund my money which is good. But they didn't apologize and said it was from one of the cooking utensils. Which is impossible was a light brown/blonde hair so I don't see how that could be, but whatever. I definitely won't be ordering from them again, I'm literally sick to my stomach :(. read more

We had ordered pickup a half pineapple half pepperoni pizza at the Laveen, Az establishment. We received rude customer service as soon as we walked in. There was no greeting and the front store employee had a bad attitude. We received the wrong ordered and did not notice the order was incorrect, we called to notice the store and ordered to pick up a new one. There was no compensation offered for our time to drive once more to papa johns to pick up the correct order and they also notified me that they needed the incorrect pizza returned and untouched in order to give us the correct order with no charge. I asked to speak with the manager and the rude employee on the phone stated "I am the manager". I will not be going back to pick up the correct order, now I am left at home with the wrong order and do not feel comfortable returning to your store. Please fix this. read more

Our first time ordering here and I will say the wings are some of the best chain pizza wings compared to most, and the cinnamon dessert is delicious, it doesn't have an overwhelming sweetness they had just enough that's only reason why I'm giving them three stars besides that I wouldn't give them more than three stars because of the pizza the pizza and it's self is alright if they added a little bit more sauce and a little bit more pepperoni it would be perfect and it's a great bargain for how much you get. the delivery time is pretty fast. read more

While I usually have no issues with the quality of the food I get when ordering, and super fast delivery, the prices have skyrocketed in the past few months. Delivery fee has gone up 1.50, sides and wings have also gone up by 2$.
