Absolutely ridiculous costumer service. I called and placed an order and when i received it, it looked like it had been dropped. Both garlic sauces were busted and cheese was off both of my pizzas. When i called back they asked if I would like a store credit or for them to send out another. i asked for them to send another and they took 1hr 45mins while declining my call when i was trying to ask for a an update. when my order finally came the delivery driver caught an attitude telling me i was wrong for not putting in the exact address for the remake when i was never asked to even do so then continued to yell that i'm inconsiderate of their gas usage for getting my order they messed up remade. If I could remove that single star, I would do so. My husband and I normally order our pizzas through Papa Johns because our grandchildren love their pizzas, but after the horrible service we received on the 16th, due to their delivery driver dropping our first order off at the wrong address when the correct address is clearly displayed in my online account. Additionally, a second driver was sent out, yet we never received the remade order. I had to call the store several times to find out what was going wrong with my delivery. I asked to speak with a manager and a nice gentleman informs me, he will refund the amount I was charged and would remake the order and have it sent it...I agreed. He further stated, the charges would fall off my bank account within 3-5 business days depending on my financial institution, okay I was fine with that. Well, hours passed and our grandchildren were getting annoyed because our pizza still had not been delivered. I received a text from Papa John's at 11:59 that reads, "Hey Bridget, your order from Papa John's Store 1131 is being delivered at 12:35 AM. You can track the status at....." Mind you, I placed my initial order online at 8:46 PM. Was the order delivered at 12:35 AM? No, it was finally delivered by an extremely friendly DoorDash driver 4 hours and 14 minutes later (1 AM). That sweet lady apologized three times for someone else's mistakes, laziness, and lack of professionalism. She stated, "I don't know how they couldn't find your home, when GPS lead me straight to you?" Make it make sense. Needless to say, the pizza was not worth the money we spent or the 4 hours we had to wait to receive it...cold, dry, and bland. Did I receive the promised refund, no. I contacted Papa Johns today and spoke with a female who stated, she was the manager and the guy I spoke with was working in her place on the 16th. I explained the situation and gave her the details of the telephone conversation I had with the gentleman. Her response, "Well, it is our policy to either remake the pizza or give a refund. We remade the pizza." My response, "Well, do you think it was professional or acceptable for my order to be delivered to the wrong address twice and to finally receive the order but at 1 AM the next morning. I should have listened to my husband when he advised me to record the conversation I had with the nice gentleman on the 16th. I will be contacting their corporate office. THE WORST PAPA JOHNS!!!!!! Food is okay. Customer service??? NON EXISTENT. Walked in to pick up a to-go order, and didn't have one foot in the door before the manager held up a finger to me and said "WAIT MA'AM". I find it absolutely repulsive to have not one, or two, but THREE cooks outside of the establishment blocking the front door while smoking. And even better, they were all wearing their aprons while outside smoking. I'm pretty sure that goes against serve safe regulations since you're supposed to remove your apron before leaving the kitchen. It's rude to expect your customers to walk through a plume or smoke to get inside. If you want to smoke, by all means do so. But have the decency to do it in the back of the building away from the customers. And PLEASE remove your aprons before hand. Got the john's special and it was up to my expectations- good stuff! Should be 4 stars but I'll give 5 to raise the rating- My tip is to disregard the bad review above! The girl who took my order was friendly and the delivery guy was a stand up guy as well. I get stuck in hotel's for work and have seen some delivery people that look like they should have hit rock bottom by now, I wasn't afraid to open the door to this guy. This time I decided to skip Pizza Prison, even though it is so close to my house, and give the county jail of pizza a try. Hammonds Papa Johns location seems to be about as good as most, but nothing exceptional. The pizza took a little longer than quoted, but it was very hot and fresh when we picked it up. We got five toppings for $9.99 with a coupon, which I thought was a pretty good deal. The pizza was adequately covered with sauce, cheese and toppings, and was not dry or bland. Whoever slices the pizza at PJs needs to learn how to make the slices more even...but thats neither here nor there. I guess I dont have a lot to say because this pizza will always be generic and boring (coming from Chicago most pizza is a disappointment), but as far as generic and boring pizza goes, this is no day ender, this does not make you wish you starved to death instead. When I called back to use the credit I was told there was no record of a credit and all they could do was give me a 50% discount. When I asked for a manager I was given a rude, uneducated, ghetto sistagirl who said there was no one higher than her to complain to and on top of that she refused to give her name. After asking several times she said her name was Ykeitha. That's it. No last name. I was told I didn't need to know her last name because she was the only one there with that name.
