Second time I ordered a more traditional Cheesesteak, with onions and whiz, and liked it less. The whiz was very salty. Thus I liked my non-whiz sandwich much more. There was a line but it was moving so no real problem there. I placed our order, two combos and two fish sandwiches for me. Line still moving. We got to the 2nd window and got our drinks and waited. I must admit it took a bit longer than I expected but then I was a fast food manager for 32 years so I am somewhat sensitive to speed of service. The food was all hot, fresh and tasty. The two employees that spoke to me were friendly and courteous and the young man ask me if I wanted condiments and I said 5 pks of spicy ketchup and we got them. All good. When we found a shade tree to park under I realized that apparently they consider napkins a condiment and I didn't ask for them so I didn't get them. Not a problem for us because we carry extra napkins in both vehicles. I will say when you consider we got there right on the middle of lunch (12:33) these people did a good job. Oh, one more thing, the fish sandwiches were really good.

I especially love the old-school diner vibe and friendly service that makes you feel right at home in small-town Texas. One of the best touches? We've visited a few times now and the food is consistently good, though the wait can be a bit longer on busy weekends. Overall, it's a tasty, no-frills hamburger joint that delivers on flavor and atmosphere. Great place to grab a meal with the family or after a day exploring Granbury. I fully anticipated there being a line out past the street since this is a brand new restaurant in Granbury that does not open until Tuesday July 16th and there really wasn't a traffic jam whatsoever. The cops were directing traffic but there were only two cars ahead of us in the Drive-Thru. I am a Fan of their chicken fingers. The chicken was juicy and had great flavor and dare I say it much better than Chicken Express! There are not too many options as far as sides are concerned and it may be a very simplistic menu but you know what they say if you're going to do something simple then be great at it! THEY ARE GREAT AT IT, LET ME TELL YOU! The only drawback that I can see is that they don't offer cream gravy. I absolutely love cream gravy with my chicken fingers! Am I right?! Canes lives and dies by their cane sauce. A lot of people that I talked to love it but I on the other hand am not that big of a fan! So put that in the suggestion box..... offer cream gravy and I'll be there every week, lol! Welcome to Granbury Texas "Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers". I predict you will do very well in this community based on the sampling that I had today! Thank You! It was Delicious!!!

They are both very rude people and do not know how to deal with the public about any criticism you may have, especially a lifetime customer of an establishment for over 40 years. I was in Junior High when that building was built and I always loved eating there ever since. Even as recently as recently as a couple weeks ago. I've always loved the food and the friendly staff have always treated us kindly. No matter, the owner, they have always been my "go to" place. Because of principle and the way we were treated we will not return. You just don't realize how this is going to affect me. This one hurts because I love eating their food. When I spoke to the owner about the incident in question, he tried to educate me on the cost of food like I'm an idiot, and how to run a business. I'm 62 and I think I know a little about inflation. I've had 3 different businesses over the years so I understand price increases but I NEVER let that dictate how I dealt with the public and making sure of their complete satisfaction.
