Do not order from this store. Not that anyone will read this till it's too late! still waiting on the pizza that they say to order has been completed. Mary has hung up on me 3X while trying to get a status on my order. The second time saying she will be there tomorrow during business hours to take my complaint that I didn't receive my order. I ordered my pizza at 7:59 pm after I put the order in it showed delivery time of over 120 mins. I tried to call the store and cancel the order but no one answered the phone, and the voicemail was not set up for the store. I tried to call the store at least 10 times. I tried to call another store to get in touch with the store in Ellenton and they couldn't even get in touch with anyone so I could cancel my order. I purchased a xl pizza and 8 wings and a 2 L bottle of soda. When the food finally showed up at my door after 10:00 pm, I was in bed, the pizza was cold and the wings were cold. I threw the whole order right in the trash. What a waste of money and time. I'm disgusted with this place. It's been years since I even ordered from Papa Johns, I can guarantee you I won't order from them again.. I want a refund!! read more

Ordered the New York style pizza last weekend an there was NO difference with this New Pizza, not thinner and just a Gimmick!

I have ordered delivery from this specific Papa Johns Restaurant several times. This restaurant is always prompt when delivering our pizza. The pizza is always hot and delicious! Much better than other pizza restaurants in the area. I have to brag on the young man who delivered our pizza this evening. He noticed the USMC flag in our front yard and proceeded to tell me to thank my husband for his military service. He stated his dad served in the Marines. I was VERY impressed with this young man as not only was he polite he was appreciative of my husbands military service and appreciative that we ordered pizza from Papa Johns. He told me thank you many times, in fact - if I had known I'd have an experience like that, I would have given him a much bigger tip (it was paid for by credit card and I didn't have cash on me). I in fact will order again in hopes that this young man comes back to our home - I'll be prepared with that bigger tip next time!!! DO NOT GET YOUR PIZZA DELIVERED EVER!!!! This is the worst location I have ever dealt with. I have waited over 2 hours for my pizza to be delivered more than one time. This last time they brought the wrong pizza to my house after waiting 2 hours!! When I placed my order on the app it gave me an estimated time of 35-45 min. After 30mins I got a notification that my order was being delayed. I called the store and Landon confirm that yes they were backed up for delivery and that it would be another 30-45min. So I waited..... then my pizza finally arrived and it's the wrong pizza! It doesn't even have my name or address on the box. We gave the pizza back. I called the store. I spoke to Landon again who acknowledged it was unacceptable. I asked if the pizza could be delivered right away or if I had to wait I would come and pick up but that I would want my delivery fee and tip refunded. He put me on hold while he spoke to the manager. He told me I could come pick it up. I asked if the pizza was ready and he told me yes that it was in the store the whole time! When I went to store my pizza was cold! Let's hope they actually refund me! read more

If I could give no stars I would. I ordered pizza for my daughters birthday 2 days in advance online for delivery. It's was 1.5 hours late in being delivered. When I contacted the store they were not nice at all or apologetic. I emailed the company and was given credit for pizzas. I decided to give them a chance on a Tuesday evening. I called at 2-3pm for 615 delivery. It finally arrived at 720! This place has awful, awful customer service. Beware! Do NOt rely on them for food for any occasion. read more

Do not order from here! I ordered delivery last night and waited an hour for the food to arrive, which was fine. My husband accepted the order and paid. I noticed that the order was incomplete. My husband called for the delivery driver before he left and he said he would call his manager and then left. I had to call the manager. She was unhelpful. She said she would send someone to bring my money. A half hour goes by and I call again. She said she had no idea when the delivery driver would be back with my refund. She was super unhelpful the whole time. Midnight passes and still no refund or missing items! I had placed my order before 9:30pm. Thanks for ripping me off Papa John's! 3 stars. I like the courtesy they have implemented into papa John's stores such as them holding the door open for you. I do agree that the ingredients are high quality and fresh , however I've noticed every time I get a thin crust pizza it is excellent. So good it made me love papa johns again . Every time I order a regular crust pizza , it is trash !!! I don't exactly understand how this happens.. I've worked at a pizza place for over 2 years and even with my experience there I'm truly unsure . I think that maybe sometimes the cooks don't make the pizza properly is probably the best bet. So when you order a pizza you can chose well done or regular, your regular pizzas NEED to be baked a tad longer. read more

Have never been to this location and Recently stopped in to order a Pizza. Clerk rang it up and said that was higher then normal for Papa John's Pizza.....she said that was going rate. Ordered pizza but went online and sure enough...it was 5 dollars less. Asked for adjustment and they said they can't adjust prices which is hard to believe. My advice is use Dominos and if that is not possible go online first and order there. Manager sent me a note offering 20% off next order but it's still 2x the dominos price for similar pie. read more

When we called the restaurant to notify them, after being disconnected multiple times, we finally got the manager. He informed us they could not remake our pizza because they had 125 pizzas to make. Placed a phone order for pizza and wings. Received a call back minutes later asking for all my information again along with the order. They then asked for payment again. I stated I already paid. I was told there was no record, I then checked my account and sure enough there was the pending payment. After speaking to the Manager, Brenden, I was told unless I paid I was not getting food. I again stated I just gave my order twice to 2 of his employees. His response was that I only paid once!! Wow!! I suggested he just make my food and bring the pizza and wings, he said he would not until I paid again. I hung up and called the Fraud dept of my bank. These people are nuts!
