Haven't been here in over a year at least. I'm from out of town but this place is conveniently located down the street a few miles. Located in the Acme shopping center just to the right next to supercuts so lots of ample parking! When you walk this facility is brightly lit with manicure stations located at the front- 6 of them I believe and another 3 located just past a central waiting seating area that is located in the center of the room. There are 10 pedi massage chairs to the rear portion of the salon. I was promptly greeted by a woman seated at one of the manicure stations. I did not have an appointment. I came for a gel mani and a regular pedi. They welcomed my 3 year old son whose used to coming with me. Half way into my manicure the technician proceeded to place a heated neck wrap on my neck & shoulders and gently started massaging! WHOA! What a treat! I would have paid for this added service! It was a good 10 + minute massage. I almost fell asleep! I was then moved to a massaging pedi station where the rest of my service resumed. Pleasant staff. Clean & thorough! There's even a sign that says "disposable basin liner available upon request." I'll be back for sure! read more

The man was passive aggressive and purposely painted my knuckle with red polish when I said no thank you please don't do that, thinking he was funny. He said, "what are you scared?" I said "you need to take that off please." He said "No, I like it there. What , do you want me to cut your skin off?" So he was violent and passive aggressive and masking that with fake humor. I was genuinely kind and appreciative the whole time prior to that so I dunno if he was flirting, being passive aggressive or what but it made me very upset and uncomfortable. read more

So I show up to get a refill, there were a few nail techs just sitting or walking around. There was only one client getting their nails done. So I found a spot to sit down and waited for EVER. It wasn't busy at all. So I decided to get up and leave. As I was going to my car one of the lady's start chasing me to my car! I got in and she knocked on my window to tell me she can do my refill now. Like excuse me?!? If I'm already walking to my car do not follow me and harass me to come back inside. Horrible experience ! Visited this location with friends. We request nail service. They didn't even cut the nails for us, just barely used nail filer. They pushed brutally against our hand and was a painful experience. The sanitary is bad as the employees were eating snacks without gloves. Then they touch our hand without washing! Horrible dip manicure. Two of my nails chipped and fell off 2 days after I got them done. The staff was unwelcoming. Most salons I go too I ask for advice with the type of color I want. They didn't help me pick out a color even though I told them exactly what I wanted. Very disappointed. Nail tech saw how unhappy I was with my color and told me to come back the next day if I wanted it fixed. Spend $50 for these nails that chipped right away. Do not go here for dip or gel nails. I was visiting the area and got a gel manicure for Christmas. I used to come to Paoli Nails in high school/college and was excited to go back. The place looks great but the work was pretty bad. After less than a week, my gel nails began coming off. Whenever I get them done at various salons in LA, they last for 3 weeks and are absolutely perfect for the first 2 weeks, the fact that they began coming off after a few days, is disappointing. Went here today for a gel fill and reshape of my acrylics, and a pedicure. The pedicure was excellent! For my fingers, I showed the nail tech a picture and he was able to perfectly recreate it. I have had manicures in many nail salons. I have to say that this place is my favorite. No appointment needed, but if you have a favorite (mine is KC) an appointment works well. I have been going there for year. The last two times I've been really The outcome has been bad. I had my nails refilled For $23 and left a $7 tip . 3 nails came off within 24 hours so I went back and had them redo the three nails and tipped them again ( because it wasn't her fault). When I went back and explained how bad the refill was they said they would take care of it. Anyway upon check out they charged me full price plus charged me for two of my nails that were broken. I've gone to Paoli Nail and Spa many times. The last time I went I developed an infection in my cuticle and am on antibiotics. The salon is clean, HOWEVER the tools are not sanitized EVER. The ultraviolet light machines need to be cleaned and the drill bits should be in a sanitized packet. This is not done. Not a fan! read more

I went there for the first time like 2 weeks ago, I read good reviews on Google. I will not be back. I did not have an appt and came after work. They were busy and I asked for a mani / pedi , they said ok and told me the usual to " pick colors" I sat with my feet in cold water for more than 25 minutes with all the staff looking at me but no one saying anything. Finally this guy comes over and starts my pedicure, in the meantime three young ladies were finishing and paying, it was very obvious that the guy doing my pedicure and this other guy that works there were talking about them, they were laughing even before the young women got out of the salon. Then the other guy puts his belongings in an Acme bag and leaves! Not the guy who was doing my pedicure but the other guy. All the employees start talking, they get up, they look out the door, they keep talking and the guy doing my feet can't stop laughing. At this point, I just want to go, I had waited a long time and the guy doing my pedicure was terrible, he didn't even remove all my old polish and painted right over it, I told him I was not staying for the manicure and this woman tells me "10 minutes! I do for you in 10 minutes " I said yes because I had an event this weekend and wanted to look nice. They charged me 55.00 for a manicure and pedicure when the price is less on their website. I was texted a survey and indicated that I was unsatisfied and this woman Kim calls me on Monday and apologizes and offers to send a gift certificate. Well no gift certificate came and I would not go back there any way, my nail polish peeled off in a week. read more

The man did a good job, but sadly I felt he was passive aggressive and he purposely painted my knuckle with gel polish thinking it was funny even though I said no thank you please don't do that about five times. I felt he was being passive aggressive because I made an appointment only a half an hour prior instead of a few days prior. I feel disrespected and like he was trying to get a reaction out of me. I was calm and collected but when I said "someone needs to take that nail polish off my knuckle please,." He said "no I like it there." He then said, "what are you scared? Well do you want me to cut your skin off? It has to stay there." I thought that was morbid, violent, and passive agressive. I was even kind, assertive, and appreciative to him the whole time and ran to get his tip before hand in cash. People were very nice. However, my pedicure polish looks like it was done by a child. As for my manicure, polish looked great, but was old and wouldn't dry properly. I spent too much money for the job that was done and now have to spend more somewhere else for a polish change done properly. Waste of time and money!! read more

The salon is clean and my manicure looks fine, but the woman completely rushed. Everyone else gave shoulder massages and Donna couldn't be bothered. She quickly did my nails and then left me to get to the drying station myself with all of my belongings and wet nails. First off, let me say I loved the pedicure I received. I was incredibly drained from four long weeks at work and I nearly fell asleep from sheer relaxation. It looks good and the massage with hot stones was lovely and thoroughly relaxing. That's what merited this company receiving at least two stars. If I had only had a pedicure, it would have rated higher. However, I also had a manicure and to say I'm unimpressed is an understatement. Within a day the tips were wearing away (and no, I hadn't done any housework). I also noticed that the paint was sloppily applied: the color itself didn't reach the side edges and the top coat covered even less; I can see the lines differentiating the first layer of color, second layer, and the top coat. This confirms that I can do a better job at home and save myself the $13. In all fairness, this was my first time here and perhaps other members of the staff are much better at manicures. However, if that's the case, I'd like to know why Gavin was on manicures at all. This place came to me recommended by someone I highly trust, so I'm a bit bummed it wasn't as wonderful as she's experienced. She was highly surprised when I explained what happened and suggested I contact them to get a free manicure (which holds no appeal for me) or a refund. I liked the rest of my experience there, so the latter doesn't really attract me either. I just won't be going back (at least not for a manicure). read more

I am not one to complain but I have to share this experience. I went here just to get a simple manicure and it ended up being a complete waste of time and money. The guy that helped me was in a huge rush, he also made me pay before he started painting (and now I realize why). He was horrible at painting nails and kept using his dirty fingernails to take of extra polish around the nail instead of the tools. I had a gel manicure here on 12/18 and it was a very unpleasant experience. When I first arrived I was immediately helped and they went to work taking off the gel on my nails. After they put on the tinfoil and acetone they moved me to another table and said someone would be do my manicure. 30 minutes later I was still sitting and no one had helped me. When they finally did it was rushed and painful. Then the towels that they used had a hair in them and smelled like mildew. To top it off the polish fell completely off three days later. So I went in for a mani and pedi yesterday. I know it was 4pm on a Sunday and this place closes at 6pm. The staff was not very welcoming. They gave me a seat to get my pedi. Never gave me time to pick a color. I tell them I need a yellow nail polish...which is all cool. They give me a lady who I swear does not know how to do nails at all. My toe nails on my left foot is shorter than my right foot. The hot stone rub sucked. The lady next to me got a better pedicure than I did even though we paid the same amount. Finally, it was time to get my mani. We picked a color. The lady (whose name I won't mention) did not know how to paint nails again. I called over for people to look at it. It started to smudge and I told the owner lady or manager to take a look at it. She told me that it will smooth out after they put the clear top on. But it didn't...my cuticles have nail polish all over it. They were not even trying to make the massage feel comfortable. I will ever go there again. I will stick to American Nails in Paoli because they have the nicest staff and most understanding but also most importantly coolest owner. Giving Paoli Nails 2 stars is because my friend still goes there sadly. read more

I had a gift certificate so I gave this place a second chance recently. It was an even worse experience than the last time. The staff is rude to customers and the mani/pedi was awful. The girl I usually go to was off today and I took a chance on Paoli Nails and I'm sure glad I did. Holly was available right away to do my gel nail refill. She was friendly without being too chatty and did a wonderful job with my nails. They look gorgeous! She's also creative and suggested spiders and webs for my thumbs for Halloween. She's an artist and make the designs look great. I love them and so does my six year old. I recommend Holly at Paoli nails. read more

Gave this salon three tries. First one was fine, second the manicurist (male) talked "up" an expensive gel manicure that peeled off in two days. Today, I gave the place another go. In the beginning the operator was cordial, but aloof; that was not a problem, I do not need anything but a good mani/pedi. Then the place filled with customers. She became a speed freak. She rushed me through so fast my hand was shaking. I asked for oil at the end to seal my nails. She just screamed, "NO!" Not, "Sorry, we do not have that here, or we are out of oil." I was given the bum's rush. This place is costly. I expect decent treatment along with decent service. My nails are blotchy, and I left with a bad feeling of being spoken to with harsh customer service. I will not go back there. Ever. read more

I will NEVER be going back here. We made appointments for 4 people mani/pedi's to get ready for a friends wedding. The bride, mother of the bride, sister of the bride, and myself were there. They were rude the whole time, and seemed annoyed about our lack of decisiveness about picking out colors and didn't offer help, even when asked their opinions- i mean they seemed annoyed about everything. You would think that you would want to put out good vibes for someone's up coming wedding day.. Not the case. As for my color change on my hands. They didn't even remove all of the previous deep red color before putting on the new color (a light pink) so it obviously didn't end up looking good. I got a pedicure and a color change on the fingers and it came out to 35 or 37 or something like that. I was appalled. And it was totally not worth it. I will not going back.
