I received a call in Dec 2015 saying my doctor (named her) had sent a script to this pharmacy and they wanted to verify my address to ship diabetic equipment. Since I am a diabetic, I verified the address. My doctor normally gives me a free meter and calls in the script to my local pharmacy - this place is about 1.5 hours from me. But, I agreed and received the equipment. I didn't use it because I still had plenty of strips to use with my old meter. Over the next months, I was called to verify my address and received shipments. No copays requested and no bill was ever sent. My mailorder company has my insurance information and credit card information. This company did not ask. A few weeks ago, I get a bill for over $200 for the equipment. I called the company and they are demanding money. I called my doctor and she said she has never ever sent a script to this pharmacy for me - she'd never done business with this company at all. She suggested I return all equipment. I do not trust this I would not recommend this pharmacy due to some shady practices. If they had talked to me about billing in the first place, as long as my insurance covered this, I would have used them and paid the copay but to send me prescriptions (they wanted me to transfer all my scripts to them too) without a script from a doctor sounds illegal to me. read more
