I am really surprised that this place does not have a single review. They are a small owned family business that really cares about their costumers and you do not get service like that anymore. I injured my ankle a few weeks ago and went in to repair my crutches. While I was waiting they insisted on me sitting down on one of their comfortable chairs. They genuinely seemed concerned for me and my well being. I was there because I had broken the bottom of my crutch and I thought I would need a whole new set of crutches. Luckily they had some spare parts in the back and the nice man repaired my crutches for me. I would go back here for any and all of my medical needs. My ankle doctor gave me a list of Medical Vendors to call for a Knee Walker, and I phoned all 6. PureCure was THE ONLY customer service orientated vendor! While they don't have a website, because they are a small family owned business they are very eager to give you the 'white glove' treatment. He didn't have crutches to fit me so he called another medical supply place and persuaded them to give me a pair and charge it to him, because he was willing to use my insurance and they were not. Facility does not bill insurance company. I work as an account manager for Aetna and my mother received a bootie for her foot. Under her insurance she has a flat co pay for this. I went back through our claims system and even the archives and the claim was never submitted. When I have called on my mothers behalf and asked for the claim ID and itemized claim they never emailed me the information. Also, I asked for the dates in which claims were submitted. I called several times to request this information and received nothing. This leads me to believe they never submitted the claim to Aetna and want the full amount for the medical device. I am in the process of contacting the owner and reporting company to the BBB. They stated they never received payment from Aetna. I even mentioned how are they submitting the claims to us and they are sending over correctly so why do you not have a claim ID? A complete fraud and this is getting reported and going to our attorney because falsely stating claims were submitted when they were not so that patient can pay full amount does fall under health insurance fraud. read more

I am suffering from COPD and I'm the need of a Wheel Chair. I have MEDICARE that said they would cover it after I visited a doctor. With the doctors script I went to our local Med supply store. I went in and asked about their wheel chairs and do they accept MEDICARE. The sales person said they don't except Medicare for wheelchairs because they loose money and I should go home and look on the internet at MEDICARE.gov. Thank God I had Pure Care Medical information on my phone. I sat down in the original store in front of the salesmen and called them. What a wonderful experience I was put on the phone with a man name Sam who was fantastic. Pure Care does accept MEDICARE at a lost for wheel chairs. Sam asked me a few questions about my height and weight plus a few other minor questions. To my surprise they delivered it a few hours later. The Rep who delivered it went over everything about the chair until I remembered it all. So all I can say if you need Medical Supplies use Pure Medical Supplies in Ambler, Pa. read more

We are having a similar issue as Loni N. My husband purchased a power scooter in May. To date no claim has been submitted to my insurance company. I have called 5 times and my husband has even gone into the store to talk to the owner. They claim they thought the claim was submitted but no one can ever confirm anything. I have been told claims are submitted in a different building and that they have a year to submit them. They had no problem taking my money for the scooter, but for some reason are not filing the claim to my insurance company so I can be reimbursed. This seems like some sort of scam or fraud to me. Pure Cure doesn't use the Internet so I had to provide the information about the system for them but once I did, they made contact with the company, asked the important questions, ordered the system, and installed it promptly. My sister has been having a terrible time with this company submitting a insurance claim for equipment. They have all the information from the doctor and told my sister numerous times they were submitting the claim but it has been months and it hasn't been submitted. I have used this place for years for different things. They are a small company and go above and beyond. When my son was 2 he broke his foot and needed a walking cast shoe. The owner personally delivered to my house after hours. Then in December my husband was in an accident and needed a sling and again they delivered a few for us to try. I recently contacted Pure Cure Medical for a walker as prescribed by my doctor. I ordered one, site unseen, it was delivered within 24 hours and is exactly what I hoped for. I have a health plan that does not have many providers of durable medical equipment. I felt I was in good hands and felt at ease in the beginning.
