We were passing through on our way to Virginia Beach and discovered this place hidden from the main road on the side of a strip mall which has a Roses store as well as a Marshalls and a great little bookstore. Panzotti's was a pleasant discovery after a long drive from New Jersey. My wife had mint chocolate chip. The mint flavor was terrifically complemented by delicious chunks of chocolate and fudge. I had a fresh tasting cappuccino crunch which also had great fillings. Definitely above average ice cream flavors. This will be a definite stop on our future travels north or south. read more

I enjoyed the small town atmosphere for my first visit here. The pizzas were tasty. Ordered 2 medium pizzas for $24 (1st-cheese only, 2nd-chesse & roasted peppers). However, the cashier failed to inform me that I could have taken advantage of the daily special of 2 large pizzas w/1 topping each for $25. This was a perfect customer service opportunity that was missed. I may visit at a later date-I expect better!! read more

This place looks a little small town and old fashioned. It's a little weird in the set up for ordering but do not judge this place by it's cover. We have been several times in the last year and it's hard to chose another place. The food is amazing. Honestly one of the best meatball sandwiches I have ever had. The sauce has peppers in it but really tasty. The pizza is great too. The chicken tenders can be over cooked (so tread lightly) The lunch special is a great value. Take advantage of it. A bunch of us came here on a late Friday evening on our way to Dover, DE. They were about an hour from closing and a lady was sweeping so we felt bad coming in but they were very welcoming. We were immediately asked what to drink and we all ordered our food. I ordered a cheeseburger with lettuce and tomato with a side of fries. Between the 5 of us we ordered a steak sub, 2 shrimp dinners, & a chicken broccoli Alfredo ( only because they ran out of tomato sauce for chicken Parmesan). The food was surprising good. I only say that because their menu consists of over 50 items and it was late night. Our server was very friendly. The restaurant was very clean. The bathroom was very clean. (Huge plus)! I had to run some errands down that way, and stopped to get a Philly cheese steak. Man when I tell you this was the best goddamn cheesesteak I've ever had..... I literally would drive the hour down there every day if I could. That cheesesteak was fire. Very friendly and professional young lady behind the counter. Customer service is trash. When I come to this area while traveling it is one of maybe 2 places that's open late so that's what I have to go with. They close at 10 and I had been calling since 9:15pm to place an order. I get there around 9:45 and walk in and stand at the register. Mind you...I've been there before. One of the guys that works there is sitting at a table with some other guys chatting it away as I'm standing at the register waiting to be helped. He finally gets up and comes to the register and I tell him I need to place an order. He tells me that the cooks are gone for the night which makes no sense at all. If the cooks at a restaurant are gone then why in the hell are you there? So I'm like okay cool whatever and go back to my car. I decided to call from another number and literally watched him get up from that table again to go to the phone and ignore the call. So as I stated, the customer service at this place is trash. I included a screenshot of some of the calls that their stellar employee decided not to answer. The amount of seconds from each call is how long the phone was connected to the voicemail message that I got tired of listening to since I couldn't get through to someone. read more

Pizza is okay. Wings are pretty good if you order them extra crispy. I wasn't too happy with the delivery driver who was ungrateful for his $5 tip that my 9 year old son gave him. He was extremely rude and said "wow that's it? Well thanks.... I guess" to my 9 year old little boy!! I wish I could have taken the tip back. We literally live less than 2 miles away so $5 I feel was fair. Basically the food is okay but they need to work on their customer service because I refuse to order delivery from here again unless they apologize for making my son tear up over the delivery drivers rude comment to my child. One of our top five places to eat in our area. Pizza is different from some of the other local places but it is good. Their salads are amazing. Have had several other meals from here that were good. The inside of the restaurant is nicely decorated and love the fact that it is always clean. The staff are always very friendly and attentive. Takeout is also a pleasure. Our food took 50 minutes to get to Parksley from Onley. Tracked online when it left the restaurant until it got here. I called and was told our ticket would be voided, that has not happened. The cold sub was hot and the hot subs were oil soaked, not to mention the fries and cheese sticks. We have been customers for quite some time, but that is over now. The place was new/updated, dirty tables, no coffee, unprofessional. With all the COVID guidelines, wearing masks, etc. they enforced, yet employees came in from outside and did not wash their hands. They could improve on getting your order right, but at least when they mess up the make it up to you. I ordered a pizza and drove 20 mins there to get it and another 20 back (live in Bum F!*k) just to discover they completely gave me the wrong pizza and one that was less expensive then i paid for. I called and even though I was out of their delivery range they drove out and gave me the right pizza and extra fresh one to make it up for their mistake. They super nice people there. You have to be careful as this place tends to over charge you. Just because an item is a "special" does not guarantee you get that price. I was in this evening with my kids and was over charged by $2 on a regular menu sandwich. I have been going to this place since they were in their previous location. Worst pizza and excuse for fried wings ever. The pizza appeared to have been frozen, then brought out and topped, then baked. In spite of my request to have it well done it was still spongy all the way through. The wings are another story. You have buffalo wings then breaded wings, I went for the breaded, asked to have them seasoned with salt and pepper and well done. They forgot to mention on the menu that hey were PRE BREADED....and were also very hot. Disgusting! This was by far the worst Italian pizzeria experience Ive ever had. Then when asked for the refund, I had to pull teeth to get the manager, finally on day 2 I took the stale food back and spoke face to face with Will the manager. Will honored the refund but by golly wow, he charged me again while processing it. Now a week has gone by and Im still fighting for the 2nd refund. Will offered to have me a money order sent....then offered to have the owner contact me after the owner went to his bank.....NOT! I got Will on the phone with my bank who explained to him that there is a second charge. I have argued with him for a week stating that you charged me twice. Why did I have to have the bank prove it to you? People beware! You are better off going to a chain restaurant. I will never patronize at Panzotti's again. read more
