It took a few attempts to get a response, eventually received a text message from her saying she doesn't treat ADHD. The next guy I tried to get ahold of, Viagrande, ended up being a crook that steals from patients just seeking anyone that will give a crap and help. So thanks for not believing in your own profession and just turning away people. Maybe helping others isn't your forte, or any one else's out here. Can't wait to get back to the honest and trustworthy people of Las Vegas.

I wrote something like "next wed." And she spent 60 minutes telling me how aghast she was. Why is she texting instead of checking her calendar anyway? Most people wouldn't even respond. Her insistence on patients paying for a minimum of 4 sessions at a time is a grievous burden. Most people cannot manage $800 at a time. She continually mentioned she thought I was well-off and couldn't I just "stop working." I could tell she had no idea who I was and what my situation was. Several times, she took texts or even calls during my appointment from patients "in need." But on my last appointment ever, the day before I was to have major surgery, I needed to use the bathroom, was locked out of her office. She didn't open her office until 20 minutes after my appointment. I had left to go find a bathroom.  She hadn't even noticed my texts asking to be let in to use her bathroom.   She is a "truther" and goes on tangents about the government and how big brother is watching and that the Newtown shooting and the Boston Marathon bombing were staged and actors played the roles. Also, the largest problem for me was that after going to her for almost two years, I never learned any tools to handle my issue.  We never discussed techniques, approaches, etc. She would just repeat back to me whatever I said, in question form. Finally, the 2 times she charged my credit card without my permission really threw me over the edge. The first time, I changed from once a week to twice a week, she told me weeks later she had charged me the $100 difference for the rate, without my permission. After leaving me out in the cold 20 minutes past my appointment time, she charged my CC she kept on file.  This was so scary to me that I stopped all my credit cards, unsure who had done what. When I found out it was she, I was disappointed.

I started off with a…read morepsychiatrist who was amazing, who then left three months later without telling me, and slapped me in the face with a new provider. There have been MULTIPLE times where my prescription had run out weeks to MONTHS before my next appointment. I would have to fight tooth and nail to even contact my psychiatrist about it, having to wait 45 minutes to an hour in a zoom call after being interrupted mid-sentence by the receptionist telling me to go into a breakout room (mind you, they didn't even listen to what was wrong before sending me away). Communication is nearly impossible, any grievance is treated as dirt on the bottom of their shoes, and they treat you like you're a whining child instead of a patient who is PAYING MONEY to receive care. And now onto the psychiatrist: ANDREA YOUNG. Most appointments that are scheduled end with your prescription ending before you meet again, causing the problems stated previously. This latest event, my appointment was scheduled for October, and my prescription ended in August. 45 minutes before anyone could even listen to what happened, and the entire time the receptionists were extremely rude to me. There was a time where I had to change my primary email for her to send lab work to me. Surprise, the email wasn't changed and she blamed me even though I distinctly remember having to coach her through changing the actual email address because she kept getting it wrong (it took 4 tries until it was resolved even after my instruction). Even after this, my email wasn't changed in the system and I never got sent my lab work (which they made a point that it was extremely important) because they never changed the address. After that, I explained to her what was going on and my confusion about the entire ordeal, she then sent her last email linking the lab work and addressed NOTHING about what was going on and why these things happened. I felt completely belittled, where extremely important information and questions regarding medication were ignored. There hasn't been an interaction with Vitality that was above horrible. I have experienced terrible psychiatrists over the years, but vitality takes the cake as being the most incompetent and rude group practice I have ever experienced. I would NEVER in my right mind recommend this place to anyone. If I could rate a 0/5 I would.

They receives 4-hour Ketamine infusions once to twice per month at Albany Ketamine Infusions, and it is one of the few times that they get a break from their constant pain. Additionally, they are prescribed Ketamine troches for daily pain. Dr. Hansen is an excellent physician--knows his stuff, is friendly, has empathy, is willing to think outside the box, and yet is very professional. I can't say enough good things about him. Office staff is very nice and accommodating, and the facilities are clean and modern. My only complaint is that his one wheel chair needs new brakes.

I have been on numerous anti-depressant drugs over the last 15 years and at best they marginally produced a benefit. Most of the time I suffered with the side effects. I researched and found Albany ketamine infusions through a Google search. I reached out to them by phone and was very pleased with the warm and understanding conversation that ensued. At the end of the call I had been set up with an appointment within a few days and emailed some forms to fill. When I Arrived I was greeted by Dr. Hansen and his staff. I was surprised that Dr. Hansen himself spent over 45 minutes with me discussing my medical and personal history to understand where I was at and how I got there. My first infusion was Administered immediately after my counseling session. If I had to describe the experience to somebody it would be "one of the most relaxing and comforting hour I had in a very long time" At the end of the infusion I was given all the time I needed to recollect myself. I returned for five additional infusions but the magic happened the morning after my third session. Good morning after I woke and for the first time in over a decade I felt like my old self. I have energy, focus and a joy for life again. It was a transformative experience. The fog of my depression was lifted and I felt awesome. It has been six months since I started with Albany Ketamine Infusions and I actually feel better than I did the morning I woke. After my six sessions I have returned for two more infusions. If you are suffering from untreatable depression, post traumatic stress disorder, bipolar disorder or anxiety, don't hesitate, pick up the phone and call them. It was life-changing for me my only regret is not knowing that they existed. If it hadn't been for a random conversation with my pharmacist I still would not know about ketamine or Albany Ketamine Infusions. I'm not living with depression any longer. I still take a low dose of an anti-depressant but my view of the world and myself is completely different.

I found her on the web, passed her telephone interview, scheduled an appointment, and completed her seventeen online forms. Then I received a phone call from her canceling my appointment. She has significantly increased my depression and my chances of self-harm. I will do everything in my power to see that she loses her license. As a postscript to this review: She read my review and apparently was not pleased. So, out of alleged concern for my welfare, she chose to call the Albany County Sheriffs office. I had four police cars in my driveway and three deputies surrounding me, in a very intimidating manner, asking me questions. She did not call me with her concerns. She did not call the Mobile Crisis Center. She called the SHERIFF. Now everyone in my neighborhood knows that I have mental health issues. Keep in mind that have never met this woman. She is not my doctor. I merely scheduled an appointment and filled out her forms. I can certainly say this woman has changed my life ... and made it much worse.
