The doctor repeatedly did not come to zoom sessions. They billed my insurance anyways. Then on Thanksgiving Eve when I was out of meds and I had a scheduled appointment they screamed at me repeatedly that I cannot see the doctor unless I paid immediately. I refused and asked to speak to a manager. They left me in a zoom waiting room for 45 minutes the same woman came back. She told me the psych was going to call in meds and I am not allowed to see him again until I have insurance pay the bill. Obviously that is never happening. This place is a total scam and thank god my primary care physician supports my mental health as well. Don't go here, you will regret it. Obviously negative stars if it was allowed. read more

I have been withbl the practice for about 10 years. Ive never missed an appointment or owed them any money and always treated them with respect. As the years went by with this practice my prescribing doctor changed quite frequently. About a month ago I called in for a refill. It was then that they advised me my doctor had left the practice but they had a new doctor and set me up with an appointment. Fast forward to the day of the appointment, I am met on Zoom, they don't see patients any other way, and told the doctor they hired to replace mine already has a full plate and can't take me on. They are kicking me out of their practice. I can't understand how this is legal. It's extremely hard to find a doctor nowadays and because of their shortcomings the patients are suffering. They had no apologies and not a care in the world that they are letting down patients that have trusted them. This practice should be investigated. It doesn't make sense that doctors don't last longer than a year there. Terrible people with terrible morals. read more

I was enrolled in the Windsor NY practice every single one of them are vile horrible people, I wish I took the reviews seriously when I went to them, they'll cancel appointments on a whim but if u do your penalized. And they'll drop u as a patient as if u are/were nothing but a chart to them. They take over ALL your prescriptions so when they do drop u you need to scramble to find a dr that will take u and put u back on your controlled substance medications! And if u went there for suboxone that's a joke. They don't ween u off, and when they discharge you as a patient and doesn' call for 4 days they WILL not answer u when u beg them to bridge you your suboxone meds bc your sick and tempted to relapse. I even just asked for 2 weeks until I could get my primary established and u know what they don't call u to polity tell u NO. They f**king ignore your emails and vm's there horrible money grubbers and DO NOT give two shits about u or your problems, just a pill dispensary except when they discharge u then refuse to answer emails and phone calls read more

I have had difficulties with this group since the very beginning. I was an established patient elsewhere and was unable to continue with that practice due to the location of my job. I was also already well-established with a therapist, who had provided me with documentation to give to this practice. Vitality had me jumping through hoops just to get an appointment with someone who could prescribe, insisting that I see THEIR therapist to be evaluated to see if I needed to see the prescriber (already on meds, prescribed by a mental health provider). Understandable if the patient was not already established as I was, but in my case, ridiculous. In addition, the office staff is rude when you are in the office, incompetent at answering and returning phone calls, and now that we are in the pandemic, there is no communication as to how a person is supposed to set up a virtual visit, and about the check in process. I am a member of the medical community, and I can guarantee that I will not refer anyone to this practice. read more

If you are considering Vitality Physicians Group please reconsider. Am I concerned Vitality will retaliate? No. There is not much they can do to further ruin my life. I will not put any doctors names on this review. They will know when they see this review who they are. I will say, I saw five doctors in a four month period and the abuse I endured at this establishment is beyond words. First, I was told by my first doctor I was " court ordered" by a family court judge because he could not read me well. Imagine that. No person should ever be given psychiatric or psychological treatment against his or her will. I have never seen a neuropsychologist in my life. (My family doctor of fifteen years was not enough.) Granted I do suffer from PTSD and depression because of this. I am not crazy, schizophrenic, MPD, bipolar or anything else. I cant even explain the techniques they use? It is a mix of cryptic behavior, CIA torture techniques, mental abuse and voodoo. I was accused of making appointments and not showing up, I paid for them anyways or they threatened to not see me. They deserve a malpractice suit. They are cruel and barbaric, abusive and negligent. They will misdiagnose you, you are rendered completely helpless. God forbid you stand up for yourself because they will insinuate you are " crazy" "schizophrenic" etc. They dont have to say anything, they use other techniques. Every action made is under a microscope. Your basic rights are stripped. They actually have the nerve to " overdrug" a patient without their consent and for no reason at all. Even in their so called clinical setting, I was verbally abused and treated in a condescending manner because who is going to believe me over a long and high standing staff member? They induce fear for no apparent reason, and force you into actions and behavior that is not typical of you. They have no concern at all if you are taking a high dose of medication. They will not wean you off properly, you will be left to withdraw and suffer very dangerously on your own. Because of Vitality's abuse I have not seen a doctor in four years and have no plans any time soon. Vitality will not care, comfort, or support... It is just a money laundering mill. I had four appointments with the Albany office of Vitality Psychiatry. Two appointments were with Dr. Ali, psychiatric nurse practitioner, for medication prescription and management. Dr. Ali was incredibly unprofessional when he couldn't get his prescription printer to work for a lab work referral. I was sent on my way without a referral and no follow up. I spent 3 hours in the office the next day waiting for him to attempt to find a solution. At the next appointment, the same thing happened, but this was for the actual medication prescription. He used profane language and slammed things on his desk when the prescription printer wouldn't work. Concerned about being behind on appointments, he asked me to leave with no follow-up plan. I asked the receptionist to follow up on my way out. When I didn't hear back the next day, I called the office and reception assured me they would work with Dr. Ali to get the prescription printed. Another 48 hours passed without reply. I called every day for 10 business days without resolution. Reception eventually stopped answering my calls and didn't return my voicemails. When I called the licensed mental health counselor (Dr. Styles) in the office who sent me to Dr. Ali, she showed little concern, told me I could see someone outside of the practice for the prescription, and rushed me off the phone. Further, I've paid $120 in copays that my insurance company covered, so they have been paid twice. While having the payments researched by my insurance company, the office sent me the detailed notes from my appointments in lieu of the billing codes I requested, which was unprofessional and unnecessary. I had to go in to the office as reception would not answer my calls and was given a number for billing. I have called billing 3 times and left messages, none of which have not been returned. This has been a crippling experience in finally seeking help for a diagnosed mental health condition and I am hesitant to seek help elsewhere. I highly recommend you don't visit this office. read more

Id have to agree that this place is absolute trash. Receptionists are rude and unbelievably unprofessional. Each one has conflicting and misleading information. I was never given ANY kind of notification until I called to make an appointment that I've been "discharged" because of TOO many appointments I've had to reschedule. I'm sorry but I've called the office SEVERAL times a day and have left messages since NO ONE answers OR returns my calls. I requested to speak to Fran, and was told, "she's not going to want to talk to you". Great, can I please speak with Fran?...."I have a line of people I need to take care of". Ok....so I'm not wanting to get taken care of?? I'm paying you to help me. But now I'm paying for the worst care I've ever received from a practice. I proceeded to get in touch with Fran via email expressing my concerns about being discharged -NO ONE PUT AN EFFORT TO ATLEAST TRY AND GIVE A SHIT BY GIVING THEIR PATIENTS A REFERRAL DOCTOR OR EVEN AT THE VERY LEAST, INFORM ME OF HOW TO WEEN MYSELF OFF OF 3 MEDICATIONS. Fran called me in which she told me the following things: 1.) It is my fault this happened 2.) I need to take responsibility for my actions 3.) I'm required by law to refill your medication for another month but I DON'T FEEL LIKE I SHOULD EVEN DO THAT FOR YOU. 4.) I have to go, I have someone waiting to be seen WHO ACTUALLY WANTS TO GET HELP AND KEEPS HER APPOINTMENTS. quite passive aggressive, eh? Hmmm, ok calling Melanie to have her help me ween off my medications safely because I am responsible for my actions unlike these doctors who could give a shit about their PATIENTS, the people they are helping. So maybe you need to get help and get into a different profession because no one there is passionate for the work they do when really it should be rewarding to help someone and their health. Oh yeah, could you have guessed? MELANIE NEVER RETURNED MY PHONE CALL! This practice is terrible and needs to be shut down, otherwise you need a completely new staff. If I could give it a negative number I would. I have already reported them as well. I was blocked via zoom so I can't get ahold of my doctors to discuss medications that could possibly give me seizures of not continued. I am so disgusted in the way this group treats people with disabilities. I have a TBI, when I talked to Monica on the phone see asked me how I was feeling o let her know that my temper has been worse with the Med change and my brain injury brings it out. When I spoke with her we were talking about meds. I said the Zoloft isn't working. I'm having crippling panic attacks. She recommended we up the Zoloft I agreed. I said I need something more for my panic attacks they are crippling. She did not go over medication with me was very short interrupting me and not explaining everything woth my TBI. I need to be explained my choices and what medications she went over a list of previous medications I have already been on and had either reaction or didn't help or can't take with low blood pressure. I was getting frustrated I even asked her if I could do more therapy instead of medication. She kept talking over me and not understanding what I'm saying o have a TBI sometimes it hard to get things out and especially when your provider doesn't listen or be patient with you. I read the notes I am not a drug seeker by any means at all. I don't like that comment because all I was trying to do was medication management. She also lied about the pa comment I asked to speak to dr capasuto, because he first prescribed my medication. I told her I wanted to speak with my doctor who prescribed not his pa. I think that's fair if Monica is leaving zoom every minute to talk to him which is frustrating and not helpful to someone with a tbi. I'm disappointed in the way you treat talk and write about your patients if Monica read my file she would know how bad my mental health is just by reading earlier notes which she admitted to not doing, in the beginning of the meeting. I still have not been sent medication or a referral or a doctors call. No one let me know i was discharged till I call up and ask to speak to my doctor to work this out. This is a mental health faculty but the way you treated me was not on my best interest. I am not a drug pusher never been labeled as one. I have anxiety and the medication now isn't working if Monica took the time to speak with me instead over me she would know. The way this group treats people with disabilities is sad. Monica clear caused a huge problem and misunderstanding. I know that I'm not the only one this happens to as well I know other people that are her patient and had a hard time with her as well and bumped heads. The comments Monica made on my chart were not needed at all I was not belligerent and I was not drug seeking. I need help and my doctor doesn't want to help me, that's also why I asked to see a different so I have someone I can talk to who understands me not because I want different medications. I wanted someone I could work with and got along that is what people do with therapist and physiologist if they don't click they ask to see another person in the group. Monica painted me out to be this monster that I am not. I also did not hang up on Monica she ended the call with me after I asked to speak with the office manger to De-escalate things because of what was going on and help out. I need a doctor to reach out to me for medication so nothing bad happens with my medication. I need education on it. I have attempted to call i talked with a office worker who said the doctors are refusing to talk with me. I haven't gotten any referrals or medication sent. This is not safe and not okay professional. Doctors are supposed to help the patient not worsen them with unprofessionalism like this. read more

Friendly staff, professional and caring doctors and therapists. Folks here do everything they can to accommodate patients' schedules and needs. Their operation includes electronic records, receipts, and reminders which makes visits here very convenient. Vitality is also environment friendly - working to reduce paper use, waste, and energy use - which is always a nice touch. read more

Vitality is a a great practice. I have been going here for years. Dr. Rathore is an amazing doctor and really know his stuff. The therapists are awesome and have brought me through some tough times. I am really grateful I found this office. The office is very personable and I feel very welcomed. I would without a doubt refer as many people as possible to this office. =) read more
