I was driving in the left lane, and a Long's Peak Landscape truck and trailer were in the right lane. In a bumpy construction zone, a rock flew from their vehicle and struck the hood and windshield of my car, causing damage to both. My daughter was in the passenger seat, and she was able to grab some photos quickly, before the truck exited the freeway. One photo clearly shows another loose rock on the trailer. Being in the left lane, I wasn't able to follow the truck off the freeway, but I called the company at my next rest stop. The very kind receptionist assured me they would take care of the damage, and she asked me to send photos and full information, which I did immediately. They asked me to get a repair estimate, which I provided to them after I arrived home in CA. After 2 weeks passed with no response, I reached out again and was told to file a claim with my insurance company, which would then work with their insurance company for a resolution. Three months have now passed. My insurance company has been reaching out repeatedly, and Long's Peak has refused to put them in touch with their insurance so we can resolve this. My insurance company says there's nothing else they can do if Long's Peak won't cooperate. Now I am faced with living with the damage to my 2 year old car OR paying the $1000 deductible to get the damage repaired myself. Long's Peak Landscape was irresponsible in operating a vehicle with loose rocks on it, on public roads. I'm contacting an attorney to see what it will take to get this settled.

He recently removed a dying ash tree for me that was right next to my sunroom (lots of potential shattered glass) and leaning over my roof. Chris does maintenance cabling/trimming on a neighbor's huge bracket backyard cottonwood tree and removed two huge cottonwoods for my next door neighbor last year, so he was highly recommended. Pricing was also very manageable; of about 7 total quotes, Reinholt was among the less expensive group that was willing to remove the tree by climbing rather than with a crane. I delayed the job by about 6 months from the time I got the quotes and had some communication misses when I went to reinstate contact, but we cleared that up painlessly. Chris showed up with a crew of 4 guys. Within 90 minutes the tree was down and they'd cleaned up and moved on to the next job. Everyone was polite, mindful of the landscaping and they definitely left the area cleaner than they found it. They brought what looked like 3/4 or full inch-thick sheets of plywood to protect the windows and left no damage. As a female homeowner with no "man of the house" contractors can be challenging, but Chris is not one of those and I definitely recommend him.

I initially got a bid for tree removal, plus sod and sprinkler for my front and backyard. I couldn't afford all of it, but JR couldn't have been nicer about breaking it up into projects I could afford. When the date arrived, they were on the spot! One of his employees had an emergency, so JR and his brother showed up. They were great: hardworking, conscientious, and communicated in real time about anything I needed to know ahead of time. I very much appreciated that they took some extra time to deal with a difficult cottonwood root system so it wouldn't come back. JR also set up my sprinkler for me and took the time to teach me how to manage it! He followed up by sending me a lawncare visual so I could get the best new yard possible! It's been less than a week, but my yard looks so great! I can't be on it yet, but I couldn't be more pleased and can't wait to save up enough money for Southern Brothers to come back and start their next project! Love these guys!

They always arrived by 8am or earlier and hard at work. We replaced our crumbling rock retaining wall with an Allan block wall and it looks super sharp and sophisticated; and functional to boot. He was able to design us a very attractive wall with a drainage system and we couldn't be more pleased. He and Brando managed to move dirt and rocks away from the site and build a wall within 4 days and even ended up charging us less than the original asking price! They even set aside some of the large rocks from our rock wall for our next door neighbor to take what he could use and hauled away the rest. Very pleased with this business and would definitely use them again for future landscaping and rock work.
