This one, however, missed the mark in our opinion. This isn't somewhere you go if you have something specific in mind, in my opinion. This store is meant for browsing, as the collection is eclectic. I also wouldn't say you can find several new releases here. There are sections for most interests, which is nice. The store is small, which makes things feel cramped and squeezed in. It also hurts organization a bit. The man at the front desk was slightly cold and not particularly welcoming. Most folks seemed afraid to speak, the store being dead silent. Typically, the indie shops are welcoming and cozy, not stuffy and serious. Atmosphere was a bit off. Prices were fair. However, this is one of the rare times we couldn't find something to read in a book shop... It's not awful and not great, just average.

Super welcoming, no pretension, just real love for music. The clientele was friendly too. We ended up having some great conversations with other diggers about what we were flipping through, which always makes a record store visit memorable. The selection was better than I anticipated, with a really solid mix of new and used records, and the prices were more than fair. Highlight of the visit: scoring a near-mint copy of the 1977 first pressing of Foreigner. Couldn't have been more fitting to buy it today, with "Cold As Ice" on the tracklist and a windchill of -8 outside, it felt meant to be. If you're anywhere near Levittown, PA and love records, Positively Records is 100% worth the stop. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in town.

Everything was exceptionally organized and they had all the usual categories of music. A lot of their stock seemed to be new and not just all used records. The prices were generally fair. I loved that they also had a lot of movie memorabilia as well and I ended up walking away with a record from the rare crate as well as some movie memorabilia for my bf. Don't get me wrong - all great stores but I just wanted a change. I feel like record stores that carry new vinyl are really far and few between. I was reminded of BRR as I was going through my Instagram feed and decided to take the hour drive out west to see if they had a couple of RSD2024 releases left over that I was seeking out. Great little quaint town and the shop is on a side street off of the main. Nice selection and knowledgeable staff. Unfortunately for me the shop sold out of what I was looking for - the early bird definitely got the worms - but the one guy working (could've been the owner) suggested I visit rsdmrkt.com that Monday to check on RSD titles that didn't sell out at other record stores. I ended up purchasing a couple of releases that were moderately priced. Would I come back? For sure.

If you pull in, you do end up backing onto a busy road so leave with caution. As I said, they have a great selection. There are four rooms of boons, each section is clearly labeled and occasional thematic decor. There are also occasional benches so you can sit and debate which books you want to "adopt". They're used, but gently and each has a price lower then the face value written inside. They also have the largest selection of Nancy Drew and the Hardy Boys I've ever seen. Its all very impressive.
