My favorite is their curation of books which also reflects US social/political/economics at any moment in time you are there, although the space holds books on any subject you want to look for. I know that when I walk in there I will for sure find something that would catch my interest. Probably because the store is located right across Princeton University campus, the selection of books is always very educational and diverse in voices and subjects. But unlike in other bookstores near universities, I noticed, Labyrinth still maintains an independant vibe. Once I walked in for books about writing, and found lots of books I have not heard about or seen in B&N or any other bookstores. It was like a breath of fresh air to walk into a bookstore and find something different than what I am used to seeing and discover new material. Books are priced the same way they are in other bookshops. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Labyrinth also offers games, it's own branded merch and art by NJ local artists. If you are or are not a booklover - you should definitely check it out. For example one time I went there with my boyfriend, who isn't as big of a reader as I am due to his busy schedule and doesn't purposely keeps up with literary news as I do - and he still found some books that caught his interest that he purchased! Nice selection of whatever you're looking for music-wise: rock, jazz, pop, punk, indie, blues, etc. Very cool vintage vibes inside and a very helpful and friendly staff. The owner Chelsea knows her stuff! Can't find something you're looking for? She'll track it down for you. Plus, they advocate for the local community. Recently, they gave away gift credits to local teachers for their contributions to our community. Very cool! Come out to support this amazing small business located in the great part of Newtown with lots of local shopping options.

Owner is sooo friendly and very intelligent! She is always helpful when asked and happy to talk about literature or family. Books are priced fair, and it's always worth turning in some books for store credit, their system is perfect for a revolving door of patronage. Always a lovely time here!

I have shopped in many used bookstores in the Philadelphia/New Jersey/Delaware Valley area, and…read morethis was the worst customer service I have experienced! The woman working there was not very friendly, and when I first "found" her (she was not visible, and I said, "Hello, is anybody here?", to which she did not reply), she acted as if I was bothering her. She asked me what genres I was interested in, went and pointed out where a few were, and then left me. She was then talking to a regular customer, and seemed more interested in "gabbing" with him. There was no explanation from her of their pricing scheme, and since she was chatting with that customer, I felt like I should ask another customer, who was nice enough to explain it. I guess that I was spoiled by Labyrinth Books the day before when I was in Princeton, which gave me excellent customer service from every employee there that I came in contact with - probably the best I've ever had! I plan to return to the area, but I will never come back here.

It's larger than many independent bookstores nowadays and has a great selection. I stopped by and immediately found a book I was interested in, but I would have browsed longer if I hadn't been itching to see as much of New Hope as I could on my first visit there. The customer service was very friendly, and the shop is really cute. This location should be allowed to carry stock in my opinion I have checked every single day since the release even sending family and friends to check when I wasn't able too and they haven't never ever restocked, my guess is the staff keeps it for themselves or they sell it all to one person possibly to make a profit, embarrassing for me to even have to write a review and explain how it ruined an opportunity for traffic and consumer opportunity to spend by them not restocking.
