    Nice fresh veggies

First visit to Panino for Santa Barbara first ever sandwich week. Great reception. Friendly young man took my order. Decided to try the Turkey Brie sandwich as I love both. Asked to hold mayo, as I don't really eat mayo but do like mustard; but I neglected to read that it was honey mustard on the sandwich. Unfortunately they seem to think if I held the mayonnaise I would like extra honey mustard. It was so sticky and sweet. I could not eat as is, so I took it apart and the mustard on the bread looked like pure honey. I threw away the honey soaked bread and piece of lettuce, added fresh lettuce wrap and sriracha and it was edible. I recommend them for their fresh vegetables, they were plentiful and fresh. However the turkey and Brie were less than most local sandwich establishments. Turkey was 2 folded average slices and Brie was one and a fourth slices about an inch width , I added more of my own extra Brie. I guess my take away is maybe stick with their veggie sandwich's. Not my favorite sandwich week sandwich.

This small deli chain has a decent menu with decent prices. Everything is fresh, and there are good vegetarian options. Service on our visit at this location was average. I had a Greek sandwich with tapenade, feta, and veggies. There was plenty of flavor. I like it. She had a chicken salad sandwich. It had good flavor, though the chicken salad was a bit watery. It soaked into bread, making it a little yucky. She did give it bonus points for being on a real baguette. I give it 4.5 stars, she gives it 3.5. That averages out to a solid four stars.

Literally my favorite sandwich and salad spot. I'm such a fan of their Brie and turkey sandwich, as well as their curried chicken salad salad. Everything is always super flavorful and fresh. Plus, the servings are HUGE! They offer a great selection of drinks and chips to pair with your order. This location offers both indoor and outdoor seating, plus has really convenient parking right out front.

Definitely a good healthy option for lunch or dinner with a decent selection. I do wish there were more sandwich options for people who are vegetarians, but if you do eat meat there is a good variety. The staff was very nice and helpful, and the ambience was cute and matched with the beauty vibe of the area. I do wish I got more quantity with the sandwich given the price point, but besides that it was an enjoyable meal!

One of my favorite sandwich places ever. The turkey and Brie sandwich is to DIE for. It's pricey but worth every penny. The salads are almost as delicious as the sandwiches! A fun, sunny spot in SB that is definitely worth a visit.

Almost $16 for just 1 sandwich I think they charge you more if you eat in vs take out. Cashier spoke to fast. Was not able to understand her. Had a shirt that said "fuck this". Extremely unprofessional. Didn't offer anything to drink, chips or anything. Does this place have a combo menu? Sandwich, drink & chips for a good price?? Brought sandwich to my table. I said thank you and she said nothing! Need to provide better customer service. Food alone won't keep customer coming back. Specially at these prices!

    English Stilton and Pear sandwich

Okay, this was not exactly what I expected, but its a delightful surprise!! I decided to try something new and go with the English Stilton and pear sandwich today...I don't know why, but I assumed the cranberries and walnuts would be in a kind of chutney so when I opened my sandwich I was kind of disappointed until I took a bite. HOLY COW ITS DELICIOUS! Everyone should try this sandwich on Foccacia bread! Classic faves of mine also include the Turkey and Salami, Cobb Salad Sandwich, and Caprese Sandwich. I've honestly never had anything that I didn't like. Thanks for another delicious lunch today, Panino!

Got seated pretty quickly, where there are various heaters to ensure comfort. Drinks were served pretty quickly. Ordered the Black Ramen (made with Black Garlic Oil) for 19.50, solid price. I enjoy the choices of meat that you can choose from, which I chose Pork Belly, and added an egg to mine. Didn't take too long for the food to come out, everything was really fresh and tasted well. The pork belly was a nice chunk too (I had expected it was going to be smaller). The broth was very delicious, which I killed the entire bowl. With the check, they also give mini Hi-Chews. Overall, great food, great seating, great service. Much Better ramen than some chain restaurants.

We tried the black garlic ramen with chashu. It was just ok. The chashu did not have the melt in your mouth texture which is the payoff for clogged arteries. We had the chicken karage. Again, just ok, and a bit dry and stringy. We also ordered a cucumber roll. It was the sloppiest sushi roll we've ever seen. First off it was the big, kimbab size roll, but cut super skinny. So you had to bite off half of it. Which meant all the insides fall out. It was rolled so loose, that you could literally see through it. The chef didn't even bother not serving the messy end pieces, so it looked even more sloppy on the plate. All in all, there is hardly any craft in the ramen. The other dishes are mediocre, and the sushi rolls are amateurish at best.

The KFC Bao was exceptional. Crunchy, tangy, sweet, fresh and savory. A delightful dish that had me wanting a second one. The Dolsot Bokkeumbap was also delicious, savory and a bit in the heavy side, it could use something fresh, acidic or sweet to brighten up the dish. The staff was very friendly and recommended the Bao, so they know what is good on the menu. I was sat outside where they have a beautiful little patio with heaters and comfortable seating. The sweet potato dumplings are fried and had a very unique twist for Asian fusion and would recommend. The kalbi was very mediocre, but it was fun for sharing. Day cake was delicious. I would highly recommend since it came out and was very warm. The bingsu was mostly frozen and was not finally shaved in terms of milk ice and the Nutella pairing with it did not go very well. We had a fantastic server (Cathy) who took our orders and was very friendly. The front staff was quite rude when we followed up what the wait time was (might have been because it was busy, but hope that it's a 1x thing and not a pattern). Otherwise, vibes we're very good and I can see why this is a popular spot.
