Decent fancy place if you're not starving, don't have hours to kill but, importantly, haven't booked a table in the City. They easily found us a table on a Friday lunchtime.
Nice atmosphere, got loud downstairs as it filled up though.
Food came out quickly, they put everyone's orders together on one large plate for the table and dished out smaller plates. This was annoying for us vegetarians as our paninis were touching the bacon ones. I'm sure if we had requested them to be kept separately they would have obliged, but worth noting.
Food was expensive but you pay for quality, not quantity. Quite nice, but not worth writing home about either. Except for the French fries - some of the best I've ever had (but £4 for a small plate!). Bread on panini wasn't toasted, but the fillings were tasty. It was all slightly salty, if I'm being fussy. read more
