I was able to have gluten free spaghetti. Yeah!!! I took my time to savour my food. The meat sauce was not too garlicky and was a definite compliment to a baked mozzarella topping. My meal was a 10 with an accompanying strawberry Italian fizzy drink. My partner had the same dish as myself but had provolone cheese and two tennis sized meatballs. He finished all his food, which is something rare to see. I took my leftovers home because it was a too large portion to finish for me. I especially, liked this business because they donate pizzas to the Boyle street program. All in all, my overall experience was A+. Servers were attentive, friendly and respectful.

Lasagne. Garlic bread. Summer Red cocktail.

Panini's is amazing, delicious, friendly service and just plain cute to be at! I love the menu - but by far my favourite dish is the lasagne!!

Well, this is not for this location but the Sherwood park location. We ended up choosing two different pastas, salad, margarita pizza, and the meatballs. Wow everything is amazing. The sauces on the pasta was phenomenal and the pizza was great. This will be our new go to in Sherwood park. I can't wait to try more of their menu!

Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo, Gluten Free

Ordered takeout one evening. The Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo was very disappointing. It lacked sauce and ate really dry. To top, the diced chicken was really overcooked with a hard, dry crust. Got the gluten free option, not sure that makes a difference. The pasta itself was cooked perfectly though. Also got a cup of tiramisu. Was just okay, nothing great.

Order the margarita pizza and it was honestly the best pizza I've had ever! I've had pizza from many places but this? Highly recommend

Ordered pizza (vegetarian option) and it was the best pizza I ever had! It was my anniversary and they gifted us with a cake

We stumbled upon this place by fluke. Walking to our friends car after the football game we came across Panini's and all we could smell was their delicious pizza oven so we decided to stop in and have a bite. This place is a well oiled machine! They had a ton of staff in the kitchen and a good amount of servers for this smaller restaurant. We initially ordered at the counter for take out but decided to sit down and eat afterwards. The staff were super friendly and accommodating. We ordered some pasta, pizza, and paninis. All of the food was well seasoned and delicious. The pasta is a generous serving size and for $13.50 I was very happy with the prices here. Since we came on a Friday they had $4 Peroni's as the special so that really was great too! They have other weekly deals so make sure to check them out online before you decide which day to go. Overall, the prices, the food, and the service were all top notch and I would highly recommend to check this place out if you're ever in this area. It's a short walk from the coliseum too!

The Explosion panini for $12.00 in 2022.I recommend it.

That was a fine lunch. I ordered the Explosion panini and my wife had the Italian Sausage pizza. My sandwich looked small at first but it was very filling. It tasted fresh and full of flavour. I tasted my wife's pizza - just one or two slices - and it was good too. The crust was freshly baked. It wasn't as unique as the sandwich but they made a common pizza very well. We ordered brewed coffee and the refills were included so that really pleased us. It's nothing fancy inside but the decor was bright with the big windows and it seemed to be clean. Parking right out front is free for an hour but I'm sure that in this area we'd be good for 90 minutes or more. The service was very friendly. I will certainly return for another panini as some others looked very interesting. We might try another pizza too. Fresh ingredients make all the difference. The prices are reasonable and perhaps even a little below average. My panini was $12.00 in 2022 so that's definitely a good value. As we walked out we stopped by the freezer near the door and saw these interesting cups of something. The server came by and enthusiastically explained that it's a caramel coffee semifreddo ice-cream. The owner behind the counter then told the server to give us a free one. We gratefully accepted it and after one spoonful in the car we realized that it was a trap. It's so delicious that we had to walk back and buy two more. They were laughing while we paid. So if they offer you a free caramel coffee semifreddo, be warned that you could be hooked as it's incredibly delicious!

Beef Brisket / Steak Pizza

Our go-to ITALIAN RESTAURANT in Edmonton PANINI'S ITALIAN CUCINA All the items on their menu are reasonably priced. Portions are for sharing. Our favourite is Fettuccini Alla Panna the creamy alfredo sauce is to die for. New Pizza feature for the month of November is a next-level Smoked Beef Brisket with mozzarella, smoked caciocavallo cheese, plum chutney and fresh green onion really delicious and the beef is so tender. Be sure to try it out soon as it's only here for the month of November!

Lasagna

The portions and flavour here are superb. I highly recommend the food here. I would come again. Ordered the Full Mediterranean Salad ($13) and Lasagna ($12)

I have ordered more than 20x from this place through Uber Eats and Skipthedishes and have asked parmesan cheese on the side for pastas a bunch of times. I have never been charged until today. It is not that i do not want to pay for it. My point is, what's changed now? I called the restaurant and the manager basically said that the people who handled my orders in the past were at fault and started lecturing me about cheeses and what they use and where they get it from and the expense on the container blah blah blah. I just ended the convo there. I was just expecting for consistency as a frequent customer. Also, i did not need that lecture.

Bruschetta

This is a little known place is a great Italian gem. I have driven by here so many times and not bothered to stop. Now I am so glad I did. The atmosphere is cool but not super comfortable for lounging and talking. Chairs are super uncomfortable. Good wine, beer, and coffee product menu. Our server was polite and efficient. A good selection of pastas, pizzas, and paninis. I decided on the gnocchi with pesto and my friend went with the panini. We also decided to split the bruschetta. All food came out in a timely manner. The bruschetta was beautiful and plentiful. Just the right amount of garlic. My gnocchi was amazing! The little pillows of dough were soft and the perfect texture, and the pesto sauce was fresh and vibrant. My friend enjoyed her panini. I will be back to try the pizza!

Carbonera with garlic bread add some chilli oil and it is amazing.
Rosie V.

This is a hidden gem for sure. The prices are great for the portions and the food is amazing. Kid friendly and the staff is so friendly. This is my second time coming here and we will be back for sure. Definitely check them out if you want some tasty Italian food.

I started the meal with the Don Vito cocktail, a spirit forward sweet concoction of Cognac, Bourbon and Limoncello. Immediately felt like it set the perfect tone for dinner. The tasting menu started with four appetizers, the Arancini, Goat Ricotta Crostini, Insalata Siciliana and the Culatello. My favorite was the arancini as it was packed full of melty cheese with so much flavor. The culatello was a crowd favorite and the crostini was a great palate cleanser. For secondi we had the Truffle Gnudi and Paccheri. For people who like meaty flavors go with the paccheri, but I liked the light cheese and truffle of the gnudi. By the time the Pollo Al Mattone came around, I could only manage a mouthful of the succulent brick chicken and the fresh cabbage salad as I was so full and would need to be rolled out of the restaurant. We ended with the Chocolate Budino, which was dark, creamy and delicious. A great tasting menu at a great price, especially compared to Toronto prices!

The appetizer with the cheese on toast was so much more flavorful than cheese on toast should be. Our companions had a pasta dish with sausage and it was amazing. I like that the bartender just works on drinks for servers and there aren't patrons directly ordering drinks from him to slow the service.

Place has "very fancy" feel and would be good for special events/celebration dinners. Free bread to start was fine but not the best I have had. I prefer mine with butter but the oil/vinegar is probably more typical. We tried the: Calamari: 10/10, great texture, loved that we got 2 sauces to dip in. Fettuccine Tavolino (cheese wheel pasta): 10/10. Boyfriend was not too full after. Pasta was cooked perfectly. Nice cheesy creamy flavor. Ravioli Alla Zucca: 9/10, I can't remember if there were 6 or 7 ravioli in the dish. Very pleasing presentation. In my opinion too many sundried tomatoes. I love that it comes with sundried tomatoes as that added some great tang/flavor. Ravioli themselves were perfectly cooked. Brown butter sauce was excellent and wanted more. Creme Brule: 9/10, exactly as expected, definitely enough to share between 2 people. Affogato: vanilla gelato was 11/10 good to me but boyfriend didn't like the flavor. We both agree the espresso was excellent. Very small portion (too small to share!). Free cookies at the end were fine. Overall food was excellent and I'll be back but to try something different on the menu.

Violino, in an old home, its staff, and the food exceeded our expectations. We will most certainly be making a reservation the next time we visit the Oilers hometown. Damn that was good! Ushered upstairs, didn't really get a chance to take it in, so will be sure to stop and look around next time. The complimentary bread was great, the martini's good although one glass had far more than the other. I ordered the spaghetti bolognese, and although quite different from what we make at home, was excellent! K had the Alfredo flambé which was fired up tableside. It seems to be a popular option as it happened 6 or 7 times while we dined. They also don't soak you for the privilege of the tableside presentation. It was a little cheesy for K, but excellent nonetheless. Our server Eugenia from Hamburg was excellent, she can serve us anytime. She was attentive, and her timing was exceptional! We plan on making a reservation the next time we are in Edmonton. Top notch experience!

Server was nice but never refilled our table water even after we moved it a couple times to be within her view of the table (my friend swears he saw her see us move it to the edge of the table too). Rialto Float cocktail was nice if you like Pisco. Royal Jamaican Ginger beer was good too. Olive Calde - large portion for price. Olives were fine. Calamari - 10/10 delicious, dips were great too. Gnocchi with pancetta - 10/10, surprising filling and even though the Gnocchi were huge chunks they were well cooked. Waitress recommend Campanella Aragosta - 7/10. If you like spicy it's fine but otherwise the flavor is actually very bland. Pasta itself was unique and well cooked. Large portion. Beef Brisket Agnolotti - 7/10, 8 large ravioli filled with brisket. Sauce was good, ravioli were well cooked but brisket inside was pretty underwhelming. Friend who got this dish was ++ hungry still after and said he would order something else next time for the price. Funghi Cipolla - 8/10, it was as expected. Ricotta cheesecake - cheesecake itself was great with the ricotta taste but crust was soooo bad. So overly thick and dry and considering our waitress failed to give us water the entire meal it was impossible to eat (so dry). Date cake - Unfortunately they didn't have gelato as was advertised on the menu to go with the cake so whipped cream was substituted. Was told this only after we ordered and friend asked for the flavors of gelato. Cake had a few uncooked flour lumps. Flavor was fine but not as flavorful/spice-heavy as I hoped. Sprouts on top looked really messy but tasted fine. Overall not a seamless experience as I would have expected from an establishment of this caliber.

For food, there was black tiger shrimps, scallops, risotto, rigatoni (not al dente), brazino (sea bass was the best dish of the night) and short rib.
