Chipotle Chicken, Egg & Avo Sandwich Squished and gross
    Jonathan R.

Food quality rapidly declining over the past year. What's happening at this location?? A few months ago they stopped offering the orange-cranberry muffins and pumpkin muffins. Then the cinnamon rolls went from being fluffy, tall, and moist to being flat and dry like a hockey puck. I often get the breakfast sandwiches and noticed the biggest decline in quality with these items. They used to be full, freshly made, visually appealing sandwiches. They also looked (mostly) like the pictures on the app. Now they have become flat, squished, and nothing like the pictures. Check out the photo comparison I included. They are not worth the $6.59 price, which goes up to $7.89 if you get delivery and they increase the price of all items for that method!

I like this Panera because I can meet family and friends here . It is the closest to my house. Food has always been good. Drinks fair. Sometimes it looks like they don't fill my cup all the way up.Service is nice . They are a bit slow getting orders out. Especially when you only order a drink. For the most part we think it is great but like I said a little slow. Clean and plenty of parking

I do love Panera and this is a first time visit at this store located in the Red Mill area of Virginia Beach. Parking is all surface and around the store. I found the lot and walks clear of debris. The storefront is hidden from the road and faces inward, so if you find yourself searching from the street your not see the sign. Like all Panera's they have a kiosk system to place the order yourself if you like. In my opinion this works best when their is a line which there was not early Friday afternoon when visiting. The young male staff was friendly and helpful with my son's order of chicken tortellini with side baguette. I got a chocolate chip cookie. The decor is obviously Panera, but each store has a bit of their own identity on floor plan. This plan seems to be smaller in square footage, but more than ample. Since the dining room is not deep lots of natural light flows to the rear. All tables not used were clean. The bus yourself trash area as well as the drink station were also clean. Our order was expedited by the store manager and took less than 10 minutes. My son reported that the taste of everything was good and since he ate everything I assumed this to be the case. My cookie was fresh and yummy! I would not hesitate in returning and would recommend others try. Panera as a chain seems to be consistently above average and this is why I return.

Dave and I were in the area and wanted to grab lunch. Line was super long- it was almost out the door. We decided to order our food at the kiosk station. We really liked the convenience of being able to look through the menu and select our order on the touch screen. Once you're done ordering you just grab a number and they'll bring your food out to you. You can also order from your table using their online app. Each table has a table number and after you place your order they can bring your food out to you. Very smooth and convenient food ordering process. Food was good. Dave ordered the Italian sandwich with chips. Chips were too salty. He also got a chocolate chip cookie which he said was perfect. I ordered the pick two: broccoli and cheese soup with a Chipotle chicken sandwich. Nice visit. Good service. Clean bathrooms.

Bacon Turkey Bravo with some cinnamon on it? Couldn't finish eating it. What did you have my bread next to Panera?

I just got back from deployment and was looking forward to having a good sandwich from Panera. I got halfway through it and took a bite of cinnamon streusel on my bacon turkey bravo sandwich. Bummer!

Good enough for a "bagel" and coffee for breakfast, which sucking down some wifi to send work emails. I put the "bagel" in quotes because it's good and it has the flavor but come on. This isn't exactly a New York style bagel. But you can't beat the convenience of a comfortable table with free wifi (it will cut out on you during the busy lunch hours) and more than enough power outlets with unlimited refill coffee. This is a good location in the shopping plaza with plenty of parking.

I barely visit this place since it's far from home. But let me tell you, today I came by after my dog's appointment and put my order into the kiosk. Waited a little bit and the manager approached me and asked what's my name. Right away he checks my order at the back and came back with it. I even requested some butter and he willingly turned around and gave me some including the knife. He is very attentive and focused. I recommend this place. Thank you sir!

Zero hustle here. 20 minutes to get a breakfast sandwich and smoothie. Terrible operation. Food was fine - as expected at Panera.

The game itself was lively, well-paced, and everyone seemed to have a great time. The patio where the event was held is beautiful, and it was spacious enough for the crowd. The only downside to the seating was that some guests ended up behind a wall where they could hear the caller but couldn't actually see her or the plants being awarded. One suggestion that I think would make the event even better is the prize structure. When there are ties, the winners have to play rock-paper-scissors to determine who gets the plant. While that's part of the fun, I felt bad for the people who won their bingo card but ultimately went home with a donated T-shirt, soil, or plant food instead of a plant. Even a small, inexpensive plant for the runner-up would make the experience feel more rewarding, especially since the event is centered around plants. The food and service were a bit of a mixed experience. I ordered the California Club with sweet potato fries, and it was delicious. However, the menu was more limited than expected, and we were told some of the regular menu items (including the tacos!) weren't available during the event. Our server was genuinely pleasant and did the best she could, but she appeared to be covering more tables than one person reasonably should. Service was slow, and we had to remind her about our drinks after our food had already arrived. It felt more like a staffing issue than a service issue. One thing I didn't care for was the payment process. We were only brought a credit card slip with the total to add a tip and sign after our card had already been charged. We had to specifically ask for an itemized receipt to review the charges. I would have preferred the opportunity to see the bill before my card was run or at least have the option to use a different payment method. The event advertising was also a little misleading. The description said, "Join us for 20 rounds of bingo, raffle entries, plant prizes, tacos & drinks!" Based on that wording, it certainly sounded like tacos and non-alcoholic beverages were included with the ticket price. Instead, everything had to be purchased separately, and we were told the tacos (which are on the regular restaurant menu) weren't even available during the event due to the limited event menu. Clarifying that food and drinks are available for purchase would help set better expectations. Despite those issues, we genuinely enjoyed ourselves. I was fortunate enough to win one of the plants, and it's beautiful. My suggestions are simply things I think would make an already fun event even better for everyone. The energy of Plant Bingo, the beautiful patio, the organized check-in, and the friendly atmosphere made for an enjoyable evening, and with a few improvements to the prize distribution, staffing, payment process, and event advertising, it could easily become an even better experience.

I recently attended plant bingo hosted at Sage Kitchen located inside the Anderson garden Center…read more  I was promptly greeted and directed to the check-in table. The check-in process was seamless; my group received our bingo cards and the flyer outlining the 20 game plays, and we appreciated the flexibility of the indoor and outdoor seating. The service was both friendly and efficient. We were required to start a tab; I was unsure if this is standard policy or specific to the event, but either way it worked out well. I ordered the Baja bowl: grilled chicken, black beans, corn, cheddar cheese, tomatoes, and avocado served on cilantro-lime rice topped with tortilla strips and Aji Verde sauce. My bowl was delicious, fresh and portioned just right. The plant selections for the prizes were great, I actually won a Pothos Yellow Flame. I do have two suggestions: 1. Consider having extra plant prizes available for tie-breaking rounds instead of playing rock-paper-scissors. If you win you deserve a plant. 2. It would be helpful if guests were provided with a copy of their bill to verify for accuracy before their card is charged and the tab is closed. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed the meal and the event. I look forward to returning to Sage Kitchen soon.
