First time coming here…read more.. Shop is very welcoming, even has a whiteboard wall for the kids to keep busy. Very clean and decorated rustic, modern. Staff also very friendly and helpful. We ordered and had a small wait, but we literally watched the gentleman making our sandwiches with careful attention to detail. It clearly shows that they take great pride in their craft. Bread was very fresh. All ingredients tasted great. They even have a vegan option. All in all, I would definitely go back again to try their hot sandwiches. Definitely worth a try!

3.5/5 I think, rounding up because service was nice…read more This little sandwich shop is located in downtown Tullahoma. It's a cute historic area and parking isn't too difficult. The signage is a little easy to miss, but I walked in to two friendly people eager to serve me lunch. They have a fairly large selection of hot and cold sandwiches, and a slightly more gourmet feel to the items and menu boards. I was torn between the chicken, bacon, ranch sandwich and the #1 combination sub, which comes with a variety of meats. I was encouraged to try the #1, so that's what I went with. They were happy to accommodate my modifications to the sandwich (no onions or tomatoes, please). I grabbed chips and a drink from the mini-fridge to complete my meal. The bathroom in the back is a little cramped and hard to find but clean and gets the job done. My sandwich was made fresh for me and brought to my table. I liked the crusty bread; it stood up well to the sandwich. The meats and cheese were sliced thinly and I could taste the different elements. For me, I think I would have preferred some greenery other than the shredded cabbage; the texture just wasn't my favorite. The pepper on top was also a little heavy and aromatic for my preferences. Nothing worth sending it back over, just a few small details. Overall, I appreciate the effort to create a sandwich shop like this one. I would return to try another sandwich in the future.

1 out of 5 -- Extremely Disappointed…read more We used to really enjoy Spinelli's in Tullahoma, TN. The first time we visited about four years ago, it was excellent. Then we came two years ago and it was "okay," and my husband felt it was already going downhill, but I brushed it off as an ordering issue and decided to try it again this evening. Unfortunately, after our most recent visit, I can confidently say something has changed -- and not for the better. We ordered two large pizzas, and both were honestly terrible. I've had better gas-station pizza. The sauce tasted like straight tomato paste with nothing added, no seasoning, no flavor. The amount of oil on the pizza made it almost slimy. Our pepperoni pizza had very few pepperonis and somehow still managed to taste bland. That sealed it for us but then what prompted me to make a post was this... My kids went to the bathroom and found poop on the edge of the toilet. It wasn't very populated so it's not likely that it had happened recently. The back door where the employees enter and exit had shattered glass and looked unsafe. Even the sign handing inside had a dozen bulbs burned out. None of these things on their own would be a huge deal, but together they paint a clear picture: a place that once had promise now feels neglected, run-down, and like the original vision has been abandoned. We won't be returning. This was truly disappointing, especially given how good it was the first visit. I'm stopping by Papa John's on my way home.

We came here because a friend recommended them. They said they make NY style , since we are from NY…read more, we would be the judge of that. Large selection of pizza & apps. We ordered a few slices which I have to say were enormous. The staff was SO friendly, the restaurant was very clean & cool murals covering the walls. The pizza was good and the crust was nice and thin, but wasn't crispy. That would have made it legit NY pizza. Next time we'll order well done. Slices were 4.50 but very worth it for the size of them.

What a great sandwich! This place really stands out from all the megacorp fast food spots along…read morethis stretch of road. The classic Italian sub was one of the best I've ever had. The ingredients are fresh and I had a great chat with the owner as well. Next time I'll try one of the featured jam sandwiches, which look original and intriguing

I was in this part of town and starving, but wasn't feeling a chain sandwich place for whatever…read morereason. I was pleasantly surprised to find Jambox very close. I found a very simple website with menus, but not the ability to order ahead of time. I got the vibe that it's a brand new business just getting up and figuring itself out, so I'm more willing than usual to give it the benefit of the doubt and some time. They have a cassette tape theme going on, so I guess the owner has a thing for older music and the culture of cassettes, which aligns with the "mix tape" loyalty club. I suppose that also has to do with the name. All the sandwiches have "fun," but non-helpful names, so I had to read all the descriptions a few times to get an idea of what they had. He pointed me to the option that was most like an Italian sub that I was craving. It wasn't clear, so I had to ask about where I tell them how I would like it (no tomatoes or mayo, etc) and the answer was right there at the register. I didn't see general options anywhere, so I didn't know how else I might customize, plus I was in a hurry and not in the mood to have that conversation right then, or in person, for that matter. I paid (kudos for having contactless payment options!) and went to the other end of the counter for a brief wait, then I got my sandwich and was out the door (my order was 'to go.') The sandwich was good, I ate it all and enjoyed it. The nature of its construction made it less stable and more fall-aparty than I was expecting to eat while driving (part of the reason to get a sub), but I made do. The bread was a little disappointing. It was good, but I think my expectations weren't aligned. I wasn't offered a choice of bread and I don't remember if there was an obvious "choose your bread" display right by the register or not. It was white sub bread. The outside of the bread was just as white as the inside; I guess I'm used to the outside of the bread being a little darker than the inside and a bit stronger to hold everything together. It was a bit more crumbly than I was expecting or thought was appropriate for a sandwich. This also meant it was more flexible, as in while I'd hold it to take a bite, the back of the bread would lift up and let things fall out that I had to put back, and then adapt how I was holding it to keep all the good stuff inside. I don't remember the bread having any flavor, it was just an edible tool to hold the sandwich innards. Normally I'd add oil/vinegar to an Italian sub, but I'm glad I didn't here or it would have been a bigger oily mess to clean up rather than just putting it back when things fell out. Bottom line for me (if you had a different experience or have a different opinion, I'm happy for you), it was good but not amazing. I don't think I'd stop there again when I'm in the area unless I'm starving again. If it were closer to me, I might keep my eye on it to see how it matured and adapted over time to maybe have options I liked more, but I won't be making the trek to where it is in Franklin just to get a sandwich there. However, since my taste isn't universal, if you're in the area and curious, I'd say give it try. You may really like it and the cassette thing may speak to you. I wish the owner only the best! Tangentially, nothing to do with the food or business: It's on a busy road and the entrances there are a little tricky, so just be aware and don't pull in slightly too soon and find yourself in the wrong parking lot that isn't connected.

Everybody I know loves their Granny's collards best, but I swear that these are truly outstanding. The werewolf was great, I really liked the slaw/collard/mayo synergy, with a generous amount of roast beef. Service was great today, so I am assuming my previous visit was the exception. Ollie and Finn's Counter…read more Tucked away in a little brewery near the Columbia square is this little sandwich shop. I have been recommended this place by multiple people throughout the years and finally got a chance to give it a try. (Well, I say that but mainly because I go to Gold's Deli everytime I'm in Columbia. So it was time to share the love) They have a pretty large menu of various sandwiches, I wish I had grabbed a picture of them. I asked the cashier if she had to pick one sandwich which one would it be, she gave me a list of about 3 that all sounded amazing. The fourth she suggested was if you're overwhelmed or unsure just get the Italian. I LOVE Italian sandwiches so that is what I ended up with. Everything here is fresh so I waited about 5-10 minutes for my sandwich to get made. I will definitely be trying out some of the more adventurous creations next time but this was so good. This Italian has a freshness to it that I have a hard time describing but their olive oil blend is lovely, the olives, banana peppers and lettuce helped with that fresh taste as well I'm sure. The bread is incredible! It taste house baked, crisp outer crust with a pillowy interior. The house chips were also really good and salted perfectly. The inside is cool, it's a microbrewery and there's subtle like alien themes throughout? Overall can't wait to try it out again, stop by if you're ever down in Columbia!
