Great quiche, great coffee, I love the set up, you feel like you really are over the pond enjoying the set up.

Aghhh I had such high hopes for this place and I was so disappointed. I love Celtic designs, history, and mythology so I was super excited to try this place out. I'd postponed it on my last visit to Tullahoma so I'd have something to look forward to on my NEXT inevitable visit, so safe to say anticipation had really built! I arrived around 2:45 and came into a moderately busy coffee house. The acoustics are such it's a little hard to hear if groups are visiting inside, so maybe not the best place to work or read quietly. That's fine, I was going to get my stuff to go anyway. The interior is very cute and thoughtfully decorated and even has a selection of Celtic themed gifts. Service was...surly. The barista spoke very softly and slowly in a very apathetic tone and did not seem interested in answering questions or sharing about the products. I got an iced bonfire mocha (I was very quickly and somewhat harshly corrected about the sizes available to order it in). The pastries looked absolutely amazing so I got a coconut cream scone and a hazelnut pastry to go. They did offer to warm the scone for me, which I accepted. My items took an average amount of time to come out to me. I headed out immediately since I wanted to get home and didn't feel that welcome anyway. So.... That bonfire mocha, yall. It's a spicy mocha, with a dusting of cayenne on top. Allegedly. I've had mochas like this before. They're often made spicy with cinnamon and/or cayenne. I've enjoyed the ones I've tried very much (the version of it at Gold Sprint in Huntsville is delicious!) so I was excited for this one. It had me completely convinced I'd somehow made the barista furious without knowing how. I am fairly heat-tolerant and like spicy stuff and it had me absolutely on FIRE. I thought maybe I'd accidentally gotten a sip of cayenne straight from the top, so I tried mixing it up and drinking from another spot with my straw. Nope. I tried multiple times, coughing up a storm the whole time. But the whole thing was crazy spicy. Inedibly (un-drinkably?) spicy. The cayenne went straight to the back of my throat and sat there scalding me for a long time. I was so sad. The only reason this isn't a 1 star is the coconut cream scone. It was supposed to be heated up...I can't say it was much more than a little above room temperature. But I munched on it in my car and thought it was pretty good. A little dry, as many scones tend to be, but the coconut glaze and cream was flavorful and silky. I enjoyed it. I planned on sharing the hazelnut pastry with my husband later. However, I examined it when I got home (mind you, I hadn't opened it since after leaving the restaurant) only to find...a short, slightly curly black hair attached (baked in?) to it. Facepalm. Straight to the trash it went, regrettably. No idea if it was good or not. It looked good, except for the hair. An incredibly disappointing visit. I'm really sad to write this review. We came here to get some corned beef since my wife wasn't able to make it this year. It's a nice building and the interior is just as cute. Has a small dining area and an actual gift shop with a jewelry section from local artist. We ordered 2 of the corned beef dinner plate which came with potatoes, cabbage and 3 -4 slices of meat . We also got 2 rosemary soda bread and topped off with a complimentary Leprechaun coffee and Irish tea . The only problem we had with order was, the pick up seemed confused. The order came to $50.00, we ordered additional Irish pastries with cream filling for dessert. No pastries. And the online menu said the order was corned beef, cabbage, roasted potatoes/carrots, soda bread AND bangers & mash. When order was opened there were no pastry with cream, no bangers/mash. When my wife called we were told dinners were a choice of corned beef OR bangers. I would've liked to put a pic of posted menu here but it's been removed from their page. Maybe change type for next year, as well as the prices for the meal please? It's unfortunate that we live 25 miles away so wasn't going all the way back to fix. This was such a fun experience. We had randomly driven past when on a road trip and decided to stop in. They have a fun selection of imported beers. We tried one, it wasn't that great but you never know until you try! We got paninis that we so good! Nothing too crazy but I just love a panini. The cappuccino was super good! Came 1.15 away to Celtic cup and it didn't disappoint! The setting is that of a hallmark movie. My London fog was perfectly sweet and truly divine. The chocolate chunk cookie is fabulous! My husband got a dead eye and throughly enjoyed it! 10/10 can't wait to come back! read more

We had an amazing evening at the Celtic Cup Pub with a delicious three-course meal and a Celtic Christmas Carol performance. The salmon was cooked perfectly, and the rosemary scones were wonderful. My mom had the Portobello mushroom and really enjoyed it. The winter vegetables and mashed potatoes were so good we cleaned our plates. The salad was the perfect size, and the Christmas pudding with tea was a lovely ending. The performers were a real family--parents and their children--and their chemistry made the show especially charming. We attended the final night, complete with playful moments and laughter. A little long, but well-paced with the meal between acts. This could easily become a new Christmas tradition. read more

Celtic cup is a unique coffee shop with soups and sandwiches for lunch and scones and a breakfast casserole, quiche, and breakfast toaster option for the morning. A great place to meet a friend for breakfast or a lighter lunch, or grab a coffee and work for awhile. A neat gift shop area with Scottish or medieval type gifts and food items. The old home is beautiful! Service can be a little slow but very nice, so just don't plan to be in a rush and all is well! Our favorite coffee shop in Tullahoma! They have the best frappes I've ever had. I think this place is Irish/Scottish themed. They have tons of goodies for sale such as Irish caps, scarves, jams, teas, cookies, journals, and more! They usually have nice Irish music playing in the background and there is plenty of seating (more seating upstairs too) which I believe can be rented out for events. Besides basic coffee and tea, they serve food like soups, salads, sandwiches, pastries, desserts, and even gelato! (Perfect for an affogato). We've been coming here for years and rave about their frappes. No other place we've ever tried makes frappes as creamy and smooth and delicious as Celtic Cup! I always order the Nutty Irishman, which is flavored with Irish cream and hazelnut. However, this particular drink does not come with espresso, so I ask for one to be added. My boyfriend always gets the Caramel Mocha made with white chocolate. It does include a shot of espresso but sometimes he'll add an extra shot for more coffee taste and it's still sweet and delicious! I will say I don't think their latte beverages are very special but they're still good. They host a "tea time" from 2-4 every Mon-Sat, where you can pay an upfront and you get a spread of food in those tiered tea party stands with tea included. While I've never tried it, it looks like such a fun thing to do and all of their pastries always look delightful. The only negative thing I've encountered is how long the wait can be. Especially on Saturday. My friends and I once had to wait 30+ minutes after ordering our drinks to finally receive them. Amazing cafe! I felt like I was transported to Ireland! And as tourists road tripping from California, this was such a great find for breakfast! I found this little Jim in my mini travels to Tullahoma. This coffee shop was way more than I had expected. You walk in and it feels like you are in Scotland in a local pub. The coffee selection, food and treats are many and I have not been disappointed yet and I have tried something new every time I have been there. The staff are very nice and absolutely know what they are doing. I bought a can of treacle that I haven't seen since I was a kid. I bought it for the nostalgia. If you go here, you will not be disappointed. I cannot recommend enough please give them a try and leave a good review they deserve it. read more

It's been four years since my last review. My wife likes this place, but she isn't bothered by the long wait times. This is a review for my last two visits that I had this month. First, we walked in but the employees didn't acknowledge us and kept working. The rub is that soon as the phone rang, the employee immediately answered it. We ordered two lattes which took 17 minutes to get. If it was busy I could understand, but the place was near empty. Next visit, 30 minutes to get two lattes and a panini sandwich. Sandwich came out lukewarm. There were three tables next to us that hadn't been cleared in over a half hour. The employee took away a few of the dishes then never came back for the rest. People were cleaning their own tables. Sorry, it's a cool place to have a cup of coffee but the long wait times and inconsistency in service and food makes me want to go elsewhere. read more

I was excited about all of the fresh pastries. Cons: We waited 30+ minutes for 2 lattes, after about 25 minutes we asked about our drinks and were told one person hadn't come in that day and they were getting to them (totally understand being short staffed) but they were not friendly when we asked about it. People came in after us and received their drink orders before we did. The food took about an hour (soup, pastry, piece of quiche, and a panini) and was lukewarm. It may be easy to get a cup of coffee these days, but getting a great cup of coffee, along with a decent menu of items, is a bit more difficult. In Tullahoma, I am grateful that our small town has the Celtic Cup. My wife and I enjoy coming here on days when we have no particular place to be and can sit down, relax and enjoy ourselves. Here, we can sit outside, weather permitting. We can sit inside, either upstairs or down, and enjoy our snack along with some people watching or just looking at the Irish/Scottish-inspired decor and furnishings. Coffee choices range from plain coffee (my go-to) to expresso to mochas and other choices, including the not-so-common Affogato. There is a selection of gelato. Interesting and tasty food choices include a delicious breakfast casserole, sandwiches such as a filling Reuben that we recently ordered, as well as Scotch Eggs that I am looking forward to trying. Of course, scones and other baked treats are traditional alternatives. I have enjoyed my visits to this unique business and look forward to future meals! read more

We were visiting from out of town. We had just hiked machine falls and I yelped coffee shops and Celtic Cup had the highest rating so I went. I explained what I typically get, iced mocha, and the owner (I believe) made me the most divine coffee I have ever had. She made me an iced German chocolate mocha and added coconut syrup. Divine! My friend and I visited yesterday around 11 am for my birthday and were sadly underwhelmed. As this was my first time I didn't realize it was not an actual restaurant, but more of an order at the register type of establishment. In checking in at the register with questions for ordering the gal was quite oblivious to what I was asking and not at all helpful. I was hoping for more of an Irish culinary experience but did not see anything representative of that. It wasn't very busy so I was a bit put off. I just ended up ordering a Panini sandwich, with barley soup, and the Lemoncello Mascarpone cake. The sandwich arrived cold, the cheese had never melted. The soup was delicious but the temperature was tepid which left it a little greasy. The cake was the crowning glory. And, I did leave with a beautiful "Tree of Life" bone china mug. We have been here many times. The food is great. Unfortunately their hours/offerings are very capricious and it takes forever to get what you ordered. The last three times we have tried to go we have been turned away because they close three hours early when the owners are on vacation. That's bad enough but they stop preparing food a half hour before that. We have a standing appointment in Tullahoma twice a week and it had become our habit to go here after the appointment. But having been turned away thrice the habit is broken. read more

Been trying to get to Celtic Cup Coffee for some time. Today we made it for a wonderful lunch with Irish music softly playing in the background. We didn't get dessert because the lunch portions were so large. We had a Rueben, Pepper sandwich and shared a Scotch egg! Highly recommend! read more
