I highly recommend Luna Cafe. They have some of the best donuts in town, but also offer a lunch menu with savory cuisine. I haven't had anything here that wasn't appetizing. Service was great! Based off the amount of people coming in and out while there, I would say this is a town favorite!

I came here on a Friday morning and I'm glad that I did. The donuts here were very soft, and perfect. The bavarians aren't pre-filled. You get to pick what you want them to fill it with. I thought this was pretty neat. They don't do this anywhere. I also tried some kind of a ham bowl that they had. It's pretty much eggs with some ham wrapped around it. It was different for me. I liked it. During lunch hours, it looks like they serve different things on different days. It looks like Thai dishes. I'll probably come back to try their lunch items one day. I'm not from Tullahoma, but I have a friend from Manchester that comes here all the time that brought me here. I'll definitely have to come back when I'm in the area because I love their soft donuts ALOT.

Pricing is great but the QUALITY is where they shine! They so so many options I obviously can't try them all, but everything me and my friends have had have been excellent

We already dug in but chocolate Bavarian filled, cinnamon roll, and red velvet cake donut

Worker was very friendly. They have Bismark donuts that are not filled and you can choose the filling and they will fill it for you. They have various fillings such as coconut cream pie, lemon, vanilla creme, Bavarian creme, etc! The cinnamon rolls are huge and delicious. I would not recommend the cake donuts however. My red velvet donut was dry and had a weird texture. The cream on top was gummy. Not worth the $1.29 they charged for the small donut

This place is addictive!! The pastries and breakfast sandwiches are spot on! Get there early, as they can sell out.

talk about a comeback…read more The Southern Table staff and management sought to ensure we had a great experience this time and excelled. Great customer service and I greatly appreciate their accountability/ willingness to make up for our previous visit. Last night we started with the crab croquettes, STELLAR. Absolutely loved and devoured these. The crunch on the croquette was to die for, topped with a refreshing crab salad, perfect. For my entree, I had the lamb rack with house potatoes & broccolini. My boyfriend had the blackened catfish with the grits. Both dishes were phenomenal . To finish up we tried their new chocolate strawberry bread pudding, so rich and delicious. This restaurant is quickly becoming one of my favorite spots in Northern Alabama. Go give them a try! We'll 100% be back.

I suppose that's true If you're hunting…read morelodge looks like an early 20th century brick building with a few deer heads grouped in one spot on the wall and a small black bear above the door. This seemed to want to be a foodie destination. The half fried chicken included a small drumstick, small wing, piece of breast, and another piece that was unidentifiable but might have been a thigh. It had a spicy sweet sauce covering, which we opted to have on the side. That was a good choice because the hint of Cayenne was still too much for one diner. We asked about the slaw -- whether it was had a cream or vinegar dressing. The server described it as a "creamy vinegar." It made no difference because the dressing was so understated that the side tasted more like chopped cabbage than anything else. Disappointing. Finally, I asked the server whether the grilled green beans were actually that. I was more curious than anything else because grilled green beans would be would take longer to cook. She said yes, they were grilled. I don't think so. They came out fairly quickly and were pretty universally blackened on one side. Once our food was delivered, we never saw our server again until I asked her for the check. So, what I believe was intended to be an elevated dining experience was simply under executed.

We decided to take a chance on Big Bad Breakfast during the Cornbread Festival and man, am I glad…read morewe did! I was a little hesitant since we were in a new town and everything was packed, but this place totally delivered. The omelet was fluffy and packed with flavor, and the French toast... well, I wasn't expecting it to be deep fried but holy cow it worked. Crispy on the outside, soft and sweet inside, and absolutely addictive. The service was quick and friendly even with the festival crowds, and the vibe inside is fun and casual exactly what you want for breakfast. Portions are generous too, so we left stuffed and happy. If you're in the area, definitely stop by. We even walked over to the Lodge Museum afterward and made a whole morning out of it.

We were visiting Chattanooga and thought it would be fun to check out the Lodge Cast Iron Museum,…read moreso naturally we ate at Big Bad Breakfast while there. It was a random weekday morning, so it was really quiet. Our waitress was super nice and attentive. It's a casual place, with lots of tv's. I had a hard time choosing between the Yard Work Skillet and the Cornbread Omelet, but I figured where else would I find a cornbread omelet? It was SO yummy. I got the bacon on the side because I don't eat it, but there was a lovely amount of veggies and just the right amount of cheese. The cornbread eggs had such an interesting flavor. I got the cheese grits on the side which were a little spicy and deliciously creamy. My gf got a breakfast plate and thought it was good. The crispy hash cake was ok but a little dense. I ended up eating her biscuit the next day and it was really good.

Interior was simple but clean and even though it was pretty busy, we didn't have a problem finding a seat. I got a bacon wrapped pork rib with collard greens and fries - the fries were battered or something which made them nice and crispy on outside and soft inside. Perfect. Collard greens came with some sort of spicy sweet sauce that I really want to buy by the bottle. Super delicious. Pork rib was very tender and not too fatty. Hubby got the basic breakfast plate - eggs, biscuit, cheese grits and smoked bologna. He said everything was yummy. Was a shame we missed out on the days sausage gravy. They gave us a coffee refill to go which was very cool. The only thing I would personally wish for would be a fountain drink instead of the canned sodas. No other notes though - we will be back for sure.

The BEST scotch eggs I've ever had and served with a mustard aioli that just completes the dish. The Fred eggs Benedict was delicious. Thick piece of ham that was like cutting through butter. Cumberland Biscuit has always been my go to breakfast place for visiting family and friends. While…read morethe service remains great and the restaurant is always clean with a friendly atmosphere, my meals during the last 3 visits have been disappointing. First visit, I asked if my waffle could be served later because I like it hot and fresh. I was told that's fine, but when they brought it out it was cold. Server offered to make it fresh and that was great. It was obviously warmed in a microwave and was floppy like a pancake when she reserved my waffle. Second visit I decided pancakes may be a better option, but when they brought them out they were hard and rubbery. This time I mentioned the previous incident and was told to specify making them fresh upon request, otherwise they remain under the warmer which makes them hard and rubbery while still warm. Makes sense. This most recent visit with family, two of us ordered the biscuits and gravy. The gravy was so watery it soaked into the biscuit making it soggy. The usually very tasty home fries were simply cooked potatoes with no seasoning (they've always been very flavorful) and the over medium eggs had runny whites. The coffee had a burnt taste which is not the norm. It's usually hot, fresh and tastes better than the average cafe coffee. The recent inconsistency in the quality of the food is really disappointing. Willing to give it another try in the future, but definitely taking a break for a spell.
