We love Panera Bread and this is the closest location for us. It's not conveniently located near a busy street if you were thinking you wanted Panera. It's near the casino and the outlet mall. So you would not pass by it unless you were out shopping at those locations. I love that it has a drive through and that's what makes the trip worth wild. Yes it takes a while to get your order but with kids, it's worth the wait. This afternoon our order timely and everything we ordered was in the bag. The server at the window was very nice. The soup was amazing as always and the turkey and cheese sandwich was great. Although the baguette was hard. I have to agree with the other reviews lately. It was very hard and the baguette sandwich was hard to eat. The chips were also very tiny but tasted great. Just not as much as I would have liked. While I continue to love certain items they sell (broccoli-cheese soup, Pecan Twist), I have to say their sandwiches are PITIFUL. The picture on their ad for the new Asiago Bagel sandwiches looks so good and full of ingredients, but when you order one you get mostly a bun that isn't much like a bagel with about 1/8 of the ingredients shown in the picture! First time ever at Panera Bread since I live in Hawaii and we don't have one but always see the commericals. This location in Tulalip was very clean, staff very friendly and accommodating. The food was better than I expected as being a chain restaurant. As most chain restaurant food tasted like process food that came out a bag. The salad and soups are delicious here. Other than being able to take my time exploring their menu without kinking my neck looking overhead at the menu board, I'm not at all a fan of self-check/kiosks. It take's much longer, is tedious and impersonal, and reduces jobs. They were out of both herbal teas which was not noted on the kiosk so I had prepaid for it, leading me to needing to speak with a person anyway. They got my order mostly accurate. That was conversation number two. When I finished eating, I had to go ask someone for a container. Everyone was nice and provided the assistance requested. read more

Slow, slow, slow service!!! Sat in the drive thru for 20 minutes before getting to the window to pick up my mobile order.

Oh boy does this place need a ton of help. My wife and I each ordered a you pick 2 and a cookie. Our wait was over 15 minutes just to be notified our order was ready. When I go to retrieve the order, it's not ready. They just made the system look like it was completed. I waited another 10 minutes for my food while I watched 1 employee worked extremely hard and everyone else including a woman dressed as manager just goofing off. The food is great...when you can get it. It's 5:30pm on a SATURDAY. How are you out of most everything on your menu? You're not making enough, you're not staffing enough. French bread is the main item people come to your restaurant for - how are you out of it BEFORE the dinner rush on a weekend? And this effects all of your sandwiches. They'll swap out the bread you're supposed to be getting for your sandwich with something less desirable and not even tell you. They need better management. It starts there. read more

This was the last time. Every time we come here, there is an issue with our order. Most of the time, it's a missing item or how long it takes to get our food. This time we ordered a Family Feast for pickup. I sent my husband to pick it up. Got home, no family sized salad. One of our family members has dietary restrictions so the salad was their dinner. So, called the store. Was told "sorry, your salad is here". Which means, they made it but didn't put it out with our order that was labeled COMPLETED. This meant Hubbie had to make another trip to the store. In addition, I ordered the Deli Turkey sandwich. Online, it is described as being on sourdough bread and no mayo. When I get it, it's on french bread with mayo. It's like they don't even know how to make the sandwich or they decided to substitute the bread without checking if that was ok. We are done. DON'T GET THE ITALIANO SANDWICH, on the hoagie roll, unless you like eating bread as hard as a brick. I ate half of it and my uper gums and teeth were taking a beating trying to chew through this piece of crisp rawhide, thought the flavor was very good tho. There was no way I could have eaten the other half so told the manager about the problem and asked if they had some ajue sauce like for French dip, they dident so aske to have, half remade on softer bread. She didn't have any issue doing that. The problem I see is they put the SANDWICH in there toster oven to long witch then turns the bread in to toased rawhide like substance. For a company calling themselves Penera bread and serving bread like that is pretty shamefull. This Panera Bread restaurant is relatively new. Soon it was one of my preferred spots around. Until before they closed due to the pandemic, this was the best of all the Panera Bread restaurants I had visited. It was exceptional in hygiene, food presentation, speed and efficiency of service. At least, that was my experience. Thus, I used to go there quite frequently as several times a month I have to pass by on my way home. After the pandemic hiatus, it does not seem the same in any sense. I keep passing by, and I keep trying. But, nothing is the same. Invariably, the presentation of the food is trashy; many times they are out of almost everything as early as 6:00 PM; the service is slow and bad; and the hygiene is very poor and the most concerning for me. The beverage machines area is so filthy that it looks like a public building garbage collection room. The lemonade tanks are dirty. I will only post one of the pictures I took. Expand the image and you will see how filthy is the container for the drinking straws. This restaurant went from great to a health hazard. I wonder why the Washington Department of Health hasn't done anything about the poor hygienic conditions. Meanwhile, this one was my last time there. read more

My first time trying Panera Bread. I love how all restaurants in the states show how many calories a dish is! Why doesn't Canada do this?! I decided to order a salad, at first I was like, "Omg, I Looveee sauce. This salad is excellent!" Midway through the salad I was getting tired of the dressing, way too much! I need water, so salty. Also, the salad was bare, as in only romaine lettuce, chicken, and crunchy bits of noodles. Don't think it's worth the price, even if it came with an option with a side, chips or apple. read more

This Panera bread is super busy. Came here for lunch. Food was pretty standard to all the other Panera Bread that I have been to. Cleanliness is a hit and miss. There are just too many people in here and I get it that the staff may not be able to clean the tables right away. This makes sense. Also there is always a lineup in the washroom. Yes its that busy. Food will be slower to arrive. Note that they have self serve stations to ease the line ups. I mean food still take time to prepare but at least you don't have to stand in-line. Last painful thing here is to find an available table. Free parking is available outside and this is a plus. I am guessing this Panera Bread is busy because it is located beside the premium outlet. read more

The crappiest Panera Bread I've ever been to. I mirror what a lot of others experienced - super long wait time (30 mins for a soup and sandwich combo). While we were waiting, I watched another customer pick a hair from her food as she grabbed it from the serving counter. Then when I grabbed my food, there was a giant hair sticking out of my bowl of soup. The staff apologized and got me a another bowl, but considering this with how dirty and grimy the place was and that two different people in such a short time period found hair in their food, it makes me feel pretty nervous to eat here, so we won't again. The manager at the front counter was really friendly and warm, but they have a lot of improvement to make. Edited to add: I also had the experience with the chicken salad sandwich where it was mostly lettuce and huge slices of tomatoes, with a small scoop of chicken that didn't cover the bread. read more

I'm so damn pissed off right now. I paid over $32 for 2 chicken salad sandwiches, a flat bread pizza and an iced coffee. I am absolutely beyond angry and beyond disgusted. First of all, there MIGHT be half an ounce of chicken salad on mine and my husband's sandwiches and not a drop of Mayo on either piece of bread. IT'S DRY AF!!! I cannot believe they actually get away with this. Is this the way Panera does business? Do they tell the employees to make the sandwiches like this, or are the employees so ridiculously inept and LAZY that they throw this crap together not caring what it's like? I ended up throwing it away and got a good one from McDonald's. Panera's was completely watery and flavorless. What a complete waste of time and my hard earned money. I don't often eat at Panera and every time I do I'm reminded why. I find the menu confusing for one. I'm not quite sure what goes with what...a salad and a sandwich? Soup and mac and cheese? Can I order specialized bread on my turkey BLT? The board just doesn't seem to make it clear. I was here for lunch, so I ordered the strawberry chicken salad and mac and cheese. I was really eager for the mac and cheese, and anticipated a hot serving of gooey pasta, maybe with some crispy edges. Sadly, what I received was a rather small bowl of what appeared to be boxed mac and (white) cheese that was lukewarm. Two bites and I pushed it aside.
