Horrible experience. Went through drive thru for lunch ordered the pick 2. Tomato soup and grilled cheese with chips and an iced tea. And I asked for extra croutons for my soup 11.86 later. I get back to work no chips a baguette that was hard as a rock at bottom of bag and no croutons. Opened the half sandwich. There was about a teaspoon of shredded cheese not even melted. I forgot no receipt either. Email panera. No response. read more

I called ahead for an order, they told me my order would be ready in 20 minutes. Which first of all, doesn't make sense, this is fast food, your making nothing from scratch. Then, we pulled up, in the drive through. They told us we were holding up their drive through and pull to the side. How does that make sense, if I would of ordered our order there in the drive through we would of gotten our food in the 2-5k it's everyone else was. But because I called ahead and gave a heads up, I wait longer?! For being a corporation I'm shocked. FIND SOMEONE TO RIN THIS PLACE WITH HALF A BRAIN! I'm done- no more Panera. read more

This is absolutely the worst Panera Bread I have ever been to. Went there a few weeks ago for a breakfast souffle, they were out at 7:30 am. Asked for a parfait, nope out of that too. Okay, so can I get a toasted asiago cheese bagel with Light cream cheese. No light cream cheese, okay so just regular cream cheese. Waited 20 minutes for a bagel because I wanted it toasted. Employees were rude when I asked why so long. Okay so that was one bad day. Went back today for the chicken noodle soup to go. Got it back to my office and the container wasn't even half filled. Really??????? $4.95 for a 1/3 cup of soup. If I could give it less than a star I would. NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! read more

It happened again. I should learn my lesson by now that this store can NEVER get their orders right. I went through the drive-through and ordered a cup of soup and a drink. I get back to work to find No bread. I call the store the let them know and they ask if I'm close by. One, I'm on my lunch hour at work and tell her this. She offers me 2 pieces of bread of the next time I come in. Hey, how about driving a block and dropping off my bread along with a complimentary cookie since my company does a lot of business with them. No customer service at all. read more

This location always seems to find ways to disappoint. Most Panera locations pride themselves on accuracy and timeliness, however, every single time I've been here, something goes wrong. Cold food, receiving incorrect food, and extremely long wait times (45+ min. for soup and a sandwich) top the list. My recommendation to management would be to not be afraid to fire staff if they don't meet performance standards. There are plenty who need jobs and are willing to work hard, so get rid of the dead weight employees who are just standing around or who can't seem to prepare food like other locations do. I've tried calling the corporate number but my message, as well as many other customers, aren't being taken to heart. There is something fundamentally wrong with this location. So if you're someone looking for a good experience, I'd go elsewhere. They're running out of free bakery items to give for their mistakes. read more

I have only had positive experiences at this location. I frequent this location multiple times a week for breakfast items. Everything is always fresh and delicious. I could not give five stars because the customer service is SO inconsistent! Sometimes I feel like I'm their best friend while just the other day I had three people stare at me without offering help. Seems like the other reviews are correct, the employees at this location need more training. However, the food never disappoints so I will keep coming back. read more

This is the worst Panera. Drive past here and go to the one on Harlem and 159th. I've tried this place multiple times. Just to get a coffee it takes forever. It's just not well managed. read more

I went in there 45 mins before it closed and they informed me that there was no bread at all literally no bread. So if you are looking for bread at Panera BREAD .... do not go there . Staff didnt think that was as strange as I did seeing that it is Panera Bread and they had not one peice of bread in the resturant . read more

Went there tonight for 4 soups in bread bowls at 7pm, and they were out of bread bowls. This was not the first time I have been to this location and they have run out of something. But bread bowls at Panera bread?? Really?? read more

Worst Panera ever. Their drive thru is terrible. Takes forever to get thru and they are always out of product.

Rude employees. Very short and it was through the drive through. All they did was sit around and talk to eachother while a line formed behind me. read more

Service is extremely slow, they began putting items away 25 minutes before they closed

I walked in to get salad and soup today and had such a great experience. Mike was my cashier and he was so helpful. I needed a lite or sugar free dressing and he went out of his way to explain the different dressings they had. He also put some of the items in the salad I chose on the side, such as the fruit in case it was too much sugar. He also suggested to put the salad dressing on the side as well in case it was too sweet. He explained the panera points card and singed me up. I really like this panera. I have gone through the the drive through twice before and they are really fast if you are in a hurry. I love being able to get fresh yummy food on lunch. Panera is such a great alternative to the fast food in the area. read more

I would never give this location a dime! My husband ordered a French baguette to go with dinner I prepared at home after he got off work. He let the employee Autumn know the bread was very hard. She told him it's suppose to be hard, as if she's educating him on bread. Had she listened to the customer and inspected the bread, she would have seen that it was burnt and over cooked. The bread was flat at that. To make matters worst, I called the store to speak with a manager, who didn't give a greeting or her name, she blamed it on a new recipe. Then she stated I will talk with my closing bakers they probably let it cook too long. She thanked me and I said you're welcome. Then all I hear is dial tone. Never did she say, I apologize how can I make this up or even do her job of trying to fix it according to her corporate policy on accuracy matters. This was a huge disappointment speaking with her. Her customer service is lacking as a manger. If I could give zero stars, I would. read more

Worst Panera I've ever been to, bar none. Slow service, rude employees. Today I waited in line while the only employee put together a bakery order while I watched 3 employees stand around complaining about their jobs. Even the manager walked by, saw a line of 4 people and kept going. This is not my first time here and this is consistent with my other experiences. Disappointing. read more

At 10:30 am you wait 10 minutes to place an order to find out they only have 7 various bagels left. Really how do they run out of bagels? What will you make sandwiches on had I took your last 7? Bagels are available all day. Panera should really look into the poor management here. Just annoyed read more

This is the closet Panera to my home, the sad thing is it is also the worst one I have ever been to. Not once have I had good service here. I have had missing items and wrong orders multiple times from the drive through. Today was the worst experience yet though. I ordered one bowl of soup then waited 25 minutes to get to the window, and there was only one car in the drive through ahead of me. When we got to the window no one even acknowledged us, then after waiting another 20 min again without even being looked at all for a bowl of soup we just left without the soup. My sick daughter really wanted Panera soup, so I ended up driving to the next closest Panera in Mokena where the service was so much better. read more

Worst Panera I have ever been to. Slow service and the order is always wrong. I ordered a salad with chicken and chicken didn't even come on it. Very disappointed. Management needs an overhaul. read more

Slowest drive thru ever!! It's a 30 minute wait every time I visit. Time to take the hint and stop visiting this location.

I'm in the drive-through way too long and Steve the manager who answered the phone when I let him know we're not moving said they don't have enough people to have two lines running so they're working off of just one line at 12:30 for drive thru and in house .. unfortunately I've been thinking about this green goddess salad so I'm trying to be patient but it's always the same thing at this Panera read more

Slowest drive through EVER!! Literally 25 minutes in line... No apology! Save time and go in!

Stopped by on the way to the house and they didn't have a few things that we requested off the menu. That was a little annoying but they did try and accommodate us by offering an alternative for the greens in the salad. The service was a tad slow but they were extremely nice. Overall not a bad experience! read more

Came here around lunch time (12:30p) on a Friday. I have never in my life been disrespected like that. The girls who took my order were so unbelievably rude and laughed through my entire order. I asked for a large green tea like I normally get and then corrected myself by saying actually that's a large iced green tea. Not only did the girl continue to laugh, but when I receive my ICED green tea it was warm with maybe 4 melted ice cubes in it. I will not be going back to this location. read more

If I could give a zero, I would. Waited a totally of 45 minutes for literally a soup & a half sandwich with a bread bowl. Then when my fiancé walked up they were just like "oh, guess we didn't make it." Didn't even offer to comp our meals. They said it'll be another couple minutes , 15 minutes later, food finally comes. Soup was cold & my sandwich was made incorrect. I when back up & FINALLY got my money back. I get it's not a 4 course restaurant but Jesus, it was totally ridiculous to be waiting almost an hour for soup & a sandwich ! read more

If i could give this panera 0 stars i would. Everytime i go through the drive thru it is at least a 30 minute wait. Once i get to the window, they dont even apologize or acknowledge the wait they just put me through. The management at this location has went downhill fast. Horrible service. read more

If I could give this location zero stars I would. I get there at 8pm after my 14 hour shift to pick up a late dinner for me and my husband. I'm the only person in the drive thru and I see NO ONE inside. I ordered 2 you pick 2s (half sandwiches and soups) and 2 cookies. TWENTY minutes later of sitting in the drive thru I get my order. What the hell were they doing? Making the soup from scratch???? No they were talking and messing around. I get home and see 2 very poorly thrown together sandwiches and no cookies. And of course I have no proof that I paid and didn't get all my order because the girl gave me no receipt. Why I keep going to this location I have no clue because the service absolutely sucks. Since I live close, I was ecstatic when this Panera was built, and I go there regularly (several times a week) I added the mobile app and almost always use the Rapid Pick-up Order option (at this location and downtown Chicago). There were some initial growing pains, but with only one exception, I and my family have consistently received great food and timely service. Among the employees I've been most impressed with at this location are Paige-Joanne, Jill, Summer, and William. read more

I can not express how amazing Mike and Molly on your staff made my experience but I will try. Context: I have a two year old and I am in the middle of moving so just writing this is a testament to how impressed I was. I went in with my crazy 2 years and 2 months daughter. She was rambunctious beyond her normal level. Right away Mike made us feel welcome. I was having a tough time getting her settled in for dinner. Mike offer to help me with our meal back to the table. He even came back to see if we wanted waters. He came back again with Molly and they offered my daughter a cookie. They are huge so I stole most of it. While Molly was there my daughter asked for water and before I could make a move Molly was on it. Thanks guys you were a bright spot in a long hot day. read more

very disappointed with my panera trip tonight :( started by ordering the green goddess salad, they were out of the dressing that typically comes with it, which i understand. i asked to get ceaser instead and they said yes but when i got my salad the dressing that came with it was pesto sauce. the salad also had no egg, and only one super small piece of avocado. i also tried to order the modern caprese sandwich, and the employee told me that they have not carried that sandwich for a "long time" when it clearly still had it on the menu in front of me and on the app available to order still right now. read more

I will I longer go to this location at 191st st. In Tinley Park. I've experienced some of the poorest customer service. The attitude of the employees is very subpar and they just don't seem to care. The food is not up to the standards that I've experienced at other Paneras. I'm done. read more

I have given this location several chances and have always been disappointed. Today I went there at 830 am and they were out of everything bagels!! You sell bread??? When I asked the "associate" she informed me..."we out". That's it not, "hey it has been busy sorry" nope just "We out". I mean the attitude was unreal. Also a lady came from the drive thru with her screwed up order and while the "supervisor" was trying to figure out what was going on the same associate informed the customer that "it all in there". I mean hire some educated associates and maybe the service would improve. I go to the one on Harlem and 159th all the time and have NEVER EVER had an issue. So I started to wonder. Come to find out this location on 191st is a franchise. The mystery is solved. The owner needs to really dig into what's going on. And Panera as a brand should be embarrassed to put their name in the door. read more

Drive through is painfully slow. Salad sizes are inconsistent and ingredients are inconsistent. If they are out of an ingredient, they should tell you at the time of ordering vs just giving you the order without the expected ingredients. The chicken was partially still frozen in the salad. Pretty pathetic for a $10 plus dollar salad. Both the service and food deserve nothing higher than a 1 star and that is being generous. read more

Probably one of the worst Panera breads around the tinley park/ Orland area. I have had nothing but consistent problems with the drive thru. Who knew it was so hard to check the bag before handing it over. Not only that but when I'm paying $7 for a sandwich and $5 for a little cup of soup I shouldn't have to check and make sure that the sides I ordered with it are in the bag yet here I am once again running inside Panera breads establishment to get the sides I ordered that weren't even placed in the bag. I would give this place 0 stars if I could. read more

I would give 0 stars if I could. Horrid customer service with rude employees (and I've been here several times, despite better judgement-it's just a convenient location). The bread is NEVER fresh. I've had to return spoiled cream cheese and when I showed them the cream cheese, they stated "it always looks like that"...um, that's a first for me then in all the years I've had this cream cheese. Go to another Panera if you want decent food, that isn't spoiled for the money Panera charges. read more

Came in on Father's Day. I thought it won't be to busy and it wasn't. Unfortunately the place was not clean at all and there where very few customers in the dining room. I got a fresh salad with way to much dressing and welted lettuce read more

worst panera bread!! this panera in question is close to my place of business, almost all the employees i have encountered have horrible attitudes. my order has been wrong more frequently then correct. i will not be back today was the last straw, after waiting in the drive thru for 15 mins...my order was wrong once again and the girl working the was plain nasty with a horrible disposition read more

This location is really hit or miss. The drive thru is usually very slow even considering it is a fast casual place that takes a bit longer anyway. The person at the window is either average or rude. One time I was compensated for the extra long wait (around 8pm) with a larger drink, though. They need to work on politeness and speed. read more
