Pretty typical Panera location. A bit of a turn off that the trash can at the front door was literally overflowing. Not what you want to see when you walk into a restaurant. Otherwise it looked like every other Panera location. The food was good, as Panera's in general seem pretty consistent. Unlike most locations, this one gives you one of those buzzers, and you pick up your food at the counter when it is ready, as opposed to them bringing your food out to you. They are over priced for their dry pastries, their disgusting smoothies, and their salad dressing for a ceaser salad was not ceaser dressing. Vinegar and oil is not ceaser dressing. It was disgusting. For a salad, 2 waters, a smother, a bowl of soup and a pastry we paid about 31$ I could have got a freaking steak for that price. That was ridiculously high for lunch food. The staff was horrible. There were about 5 tables total in this place and they were not busy at all it took the chick at the cash register 30 minutes to take are freaking order. I felt like I was talking to a brick wall. I would never go here again, and I sure as heck wouldn't recommend it. read more

NO BREAD AT 730pm at the BREAD COMPANY I ordered a "you pick 2" and they were out of sourdough bread bowls, so I said does it come with a baguette and they said they're out of those. Then I asked for ciabatta, sold out. I worked there as a baker, I know how it goes. We might have run out of one thing, but not everything! read more

I got a chicken frontega panini which is usually my favorite but I was so disappointed. The bread was hardly toasted - one side had grill marks but otherwise the bread was still soft. The chicken was hardly even warm. It was like they rushed to make it or something but it's not like there were a lot of orders at the time. I was only 1 of 2 or 3 customers ordering. read more

My girls and I love going here for a late lunch or early dinner after or before a day of shopping. We love the soups, sandwiches, drinks and goodies. We always leave happy. The customer service is great, friendly & quick and they are eager to please and make things right if there is a little slip up. We have never left unhappy- not even the kids! LOVE IT! read more

This was absolutely the worst Panera Bread experience I have ever come across. The man taking our order was clearly under-trained. There was not a manager to be seen from the time we walked in, to the time we left, twenty minutes later. My brother tried to order a "Big Kid Grilled Cheese", an item no longer featured on their menu but because the restaurant still carries all the ingredients, most are willing to still make it. They refused to do so. The store was filthy. Tables were not wiped down. There was trash and crumbs all over the floor. According to my mother, the Women's bathroom was out of paper towels. My mother wasn't given clear instruction on where to receive the quiche she ordered. The sandwich my brother did order did not receive a side at all, let alone the one he ordered with it. My Pick Two Combo was given the wrong soup and was without utensils. My brother's sandwich and baguette were awful and tasted old. This Panera also does not bring your order to the table as so many others have begun to do. Panera as a company has gone down in quality considerably. Their staff and mangers always seem to have a poor attitude. The whole process of getting food in ridiculously chaotic and unenjoyable. In future I will personally not be eating at any Panera if I can help it, but certainly not this one. read more

Normally, I am a big fan of Panera. After a recent stop (Sat 10-3) at the St Joseph location, I may have to reconsider. Service was fairly slow, prep staff was slamming plates and orders on the pick up counter and seemed generally unprofessional. That should have been our first warning...found a giant long hair in one of the sandwiches. ICK! read more

I generally enjoy eating at Panera Bread restaurants and have done so at many different locations. The food tends to be fresh and well-prepared if not overly-creative. The staff seems to be well-trained and attentive. This particular Panera Bread, however, does not measure up to the usual standards. The food is not terrible, and the staff could be worse. At the same time, both the food and the staff are far from extraordinary. Things at this location are all slightly below average, and it seems as though that is the best they can do. As a case in point, they were completely out of bagels, save one kind that appeared less than popular, at 11:00 AM yesterday morning. This lack of bagels has happened more than once at this location, and if that is the worst thing that happens during my day, things are looking pretty good. At the same time, running out of their most popular item so early in the day is an indication of poor planning. It is also indicative of this establishment being below average in all respects and being incapable of doing any better. read more
