If you've been to any Panera you know that the menu is full of healthy and hearty soups, sandwiches, and salads. I highly recommend the Thai wonton broth bowl paired with a salad (I get the barbecue chicken salad). Don't forget the bakery on your way out, especially during the Christmas season. Each year I buy a loaf of whatever is sweetest for my family to have on Christmas Eve. They love it. Staff here are friendly and wait time isn't long. The one problem I have with this location is that it's always dirty. Often there are few tables that have been cleaned, the beverage station needs wiping, and the floors are filthy. Most of the other locations I visit are reasonably clean, so this isn't a good look for St. Cloud. read more

The newly renovated Panera Bread leaves little to be desired. The reason I say a little is because the one thing it lacks is booths. Panera's booths were a hot commodity even before the renovation, but now there are only a couple left. As far as food, Panera can be a bit pricey if you don't know the ins and outs of the menu. Their Chicken and Wild Rice soup is phenomenal and their bread sure is famous for a reason! Panera Bread is definitely a quick bite to please the masses! Try it out. read more

Drive thru hours different than business hours and not posted. Open until 9, but going through the drive thru at 8:20 and told I needed to come inside. Service was slow. I was also only told that they didn't have the salad I ordered after I had paid. The cashier didn't mention a thing. It wasn't until they finally started making it that I was told they were missing ingredients. No option for a refund or to change my order. Horrible serive. Maybe they should improve service and keep that drive thru open instead of standing around talking with friends. read more

As a deaf and often I was told by hearing people that deaf can't do everything. They said deaf people's grammar is suck. And they assumed that deaf can't drive. Etc etc etc and however, I was surprised how your employees who are hearing and CAN'T even read at all and they gave me the wrong one ordered. I asked for bacon with Mac and cheese, however they gave me Mac and cheese without damn bacon. I drove to my home and I realized there's no bacon in mac and cheese, so I have drive for ANOTHER 20 minutes to back there and get another one. What a waste of gas. Anyway, Thanks a lot read more

If I could give a negative star I would do that ...... I ordered food for a meeting and it never arrived. When I called about it I was told I needed to call Door Dash and find out where the driver was with our food. I ordered from Panera not Door Dash so I had no contact information. After a 10 minute "discussion" with the manager I was told I needed to go get food from another place as they were just too busy to help me anymore. We never did get our food AND they kept our money. A complaint filed with the corporate office got me a $10 credit on my account to use in the next 3 weeks but no money back. Vary slow service we were sitting in drive threw for 30 minutes and we payed for wrong order

My boyfriend and I went here on a cold winter morning, and walked into the warm and inviting atmosphere of this Panera. Unfortunately, that's pretty much where the experience took a nose dive and became unenjoyable. The line had about 15 people in it, and there was one register open. There was an employee standing at the other register, chatting with one of the patrons for 10 minutes before he decided to open his register and help. That employee ended up helping us, and he was incredibly rude. He would roll his eyes if we asked him questions and give us short answers. The food was warm, the coffee good, and the atmosphere welcoming. The employee, however, ruined this establishment for me - especially when there are countless other cafes within spitting distance. read more

Panera always has good food. However, the cleanliness inside has been extremely disappointing. Not one table that was open had been cleaned and was visibly soiled, the ground was atrocious with crumbs and scraps. I have had the same experience in the past, and have given them the benefit of the doubt. However, nothing has changed and you'd think it would be even more cleanly given the times and Covid. read more

I stopped in for lunch today (5/22/18) and it was very very disappointing. I usually LOVE this Panera but the new renovation seems more keen on quantity than quality. Placed a to go order (1/2 Chicken salad) go back to my office and open way looks like a disappointing side salad. No chicken and none of the things I had added (and was charged for). Tried calling, no answer (lunch rush .. I get it). So I go BACK to change it, I tell them what's wrong, they make a new one and it STILL had things missing!! So I wasted 45 minutes to get a half made side chicken salad. To boot, I heard one of the workers blame an elderly lady for what she ended up getting instead of just apologizing and making it better. Rude rude! Please make it better - this was awful. Don't rush and pay attention and be nice! Terrible. read more

Although it is a chain restaurant this Panera has always impressed me with their friendly staff and speedy service. I love the new unlimited iced tea options and their coffee is very good. Is there a better way to start the day than with a delicious steak breakfast sandwich? I also think they have some of the best salads around and if you use the kiosk to order then you can explore dozens of ways to customize your food. I also go pick up their bread bowls when I make chili or have one of their soups. The My Panera reward club is free and we often get rewarded with a free bagel every day for a month. I just received my Fuji Apple Salad and couldn't believe what I was seeing. Instead of chopped apples, which is why I order this salad, I got 3 slices of dried apple that had absolutely no flavor at all. However I did have enough tomatoes to make a pot of spaghetti sauce. The consistency of the food quality seems to be pretty sporadic, and for the price, I don't care to take chances on what I get. Not very happy today! read more

Brought my girls here for a girl day. I ordered the steak and cheese, my daughter had the tortellini Alfredo and my youngest daughter had the pb and j... We also ordered two pepsis and a dr pepper. I got a turkey and cheese instead of steak and cheese and we got two dr peppers and one Pepsi instead of vise versa. The sandwich was eh, the tortellini was good and the pb and j was ridiculously over stuffed and messy for a child. The only reason they are getting three stars was because the tortellini was good. I love Panera and have been to dozens of locations. I went in last week only to find out that they had no idea how to redeem my an eGift card. The manager came to help and was very nasty saying " they didn't HAVE that program" OK and she's a manager?? I contacted corporate and when they said there was nothing wrong with the shift card I tried to pay with. Never heard from the store with an apology for the absolute unacceptable treatment . If your going to pay with cash or a credit card go for it, I have always had great experience with the food quality, customer service though is another story. They don't care to loose a loyal customer that's for sure. read more

Visited again for breakfast on 3/17/19, food still good, no issues with accuracy this time. Will continue to update after every visit.

Panera is a great option for fast and healthy food! You can really taste the quality difference compared to other fast food options. A little more expensive at times, but well worth it if you care about what you put in your body. I've noticed it can be really busy around noon and 5 pm, so go a little earlier or later if you can. That said being busy during the lunch and dinner rush is a good sign they are doing something right. read more

I tried the drive thru for lunch. I'd say if you're in a hurry, don't stop here. Staff was friendly. I ordered the Cuban Sammy and Mac and cheese. The Cuban was ok, nothing special. Mac and cheese was fair. I'd probably order other food next time as Panera has many choices. read more

I love this place for lunch however it is often packed. There needs to be a second location in town to help with that. The other reviewers suggest the My Panera card, however unless you go there on a very regular basis (once a week or more) you won't see anything on that card. Another thing this place badly needs is a bike rack. If you are one of the many cyclists in town you wont have any place to put your bike. Other then that, if you have ever been to a panera you have been to this one. Lots of good bread, and soups. read more

Today I had the worst experience I've ever had in a restaurant. I decided to buy my kids breakfast after church and suggested Panera. We placed our order as usual and found a table. No problem because it wasn't very busy. When our order came the manager delivered 2/3 of it and then said they were out of the item I had ordered. I couldn't believe this wasn't caught before they cooked and delivered the other food. My grandson had to ask for his egg two more times and the cream cheese we had paid for. The manager never apologized and only offered to substitute. I got a refund for the food I didn't get but I felt that she didn't care to keep her customers happy. The dirty dishes were stacked high and like I said before, the place was not busy. read more

Very good cappuccino--among the closest approximations to an Italian cappuccino in saint cloud. Not like Starbucks or caribou cap (a good thing). Carrot cake muffin is either lousy or wonderful, depending on your liking of frosting. The inside is secretly stuffed with cream cheese frosting, leaving little carrot cake. The other day I was so happy with my Panera and their kindness. I was in the drive threw (9mos pregnant) wanting a breakfast sandwich when the women over the intercom said "sorry we are no longer serving breakfast" as I frantically looked for something else that would hit the spot I just couldn't get a breakfast sandwich out of my head. I told the women that I just wasn't craving anything else and my situation she totally understood. I wasn't able to back out of the drive threw line so I waited for the cars in front of me to get their orders. As I drive past the window the women handed me a bag and said "this should tide you over till you can find what you are craving, I've been there" inside was a cinnamon roll... the understanding was so nice!
