This was take out. This is our first time at this location. Friendly employees, and clean store. :-) I am a big fan of Subway, but Firehouse Subs are delicious as well. This location is clean and the subs were really good. I had a large hook and ladder, with white bread. Ham, Turkey, mayonnaise, mustard, black olives, provolone cheese and light lettuce. My husband had a large steak and cheese sub. We had the combo as well. A drink and chips. I don't know why my husband ordered me a large, but it was cut in 4 ways and I only ate 1 cut. It was so delicious and the bread was super soft. My husband also enjoyed his sub as well. We will definitely be back soon, and I will get a small sub/made the same way. read more

9:30 am, my Uber order cancelled. Looked around for place that could do 12 meals fast for a conference meeting. Firehouse did fantastic! The owner works his ass off for the customer. If anyone want to call this place "not good, " your an idiot and probably complain about everything. Small hard working businesses like this need to be lifted up. Very grateful for the experience! It now defaults to a combo when it did not do that before, so I ended up paying $12 more for combos I didn't want and when we picked up the order, they didn't even give us drink cups for the combos I was tricked into buying. Fast service, really good sammies albeit slightly spendy for their size, and they do an awesome job supporting local fire fighting organizations. You can even buy one of their 5 gallon pickle buckets for $3 to help with that, or round up your order total to donate the change! read more

I've only been here once but I had a hard time finding something I wanted that was lower in calories but not vegetarian or lacking flavor. I did end up choosing a sandwich which had some spice to it. It was good and tasty. I would go back if the location was better first and foremost but also if there were some deals or coupons. It seems like their staff if knowledgeable and likes working there this is good to see. It's located near the college campus and is always busy with the local students. If you want different options and flavors I'd recommend Firehouse for the St. Cloud area's shops for sandwiches. read more

Food was good but they only placed part of our order in the bag. Thought we had it all drove across town and discovered only 2 of 4 subs were in the order. I've been here a couple of times and really liked the sub. I've had both the club and the Hook and Ladder. Both tasted great. The sandwiches are served warm with fresh ingredients, and are a decent size. I like their sandwiches a lot better than most of the other local sub places. It's the newest sub shop in St. Cloud, close to downtown. The days I've been here it's been pretty hopping. read more

If they make the engineer sub well one time, they'll be sure to mess it up on two other occasions and remind you of the jimmy johns down the street. When I say mess it up, I mean they inexplicably drench the sandwich in sauce so that your fingers are wet from eating a sandwich. When you call them on the phone, they try to rush through the interaction, which can be annoying. Being accurate and fast is one thing. Being fast without considering the customer is something else. Customer service is lacking, the product is inconsistent, and the business itself seems out of place. read more

This was my first experience at Firehouse Subs, I was unimpressed with the way the the server at the counter spoke to my wife and I. The server spoke very rapidly as if she was racing to get through our order in new record time. The meatball sub is decent but not amazing. Absolutely never had a bad experience here. Came up the first time when visiting the school, and on account of living in the apartments above the building, I often will stop here when I'm hungry and lazy. Their meatballs are to die for, and I believe they legitimately have the best selection of hot sandwiches this side of the Mississippi. As far as chain restaurants go, this is right up there as one of my favorites along with Qdoba and Five Guys. read more

Tried this place out while my sister was here for the weekend, and they did not disappoint. Since it was our first time, one of the gals there gave us a little menu tour. She guaranteed we would never go back to Jimmy John's or Subway. We decided to split a large Hook and Ladder, and it was plenty of food; we were both stuffed by the end. I don't know what kind of magic they used to make that sandwich, but the sauce mixture combined with the flavor of the meat and the softness of the bread was wonderful. 10 out of 10 would have again. read more

Great food, good service, and the kids loved the interior. I had the #10 and it's one of best subs I've ever had. They have a few unique ways to help support the local fire department which I thought was pretty neat. The interior is very cool with fire house memorabilia. Will defiantly return. read more

Best sub shop in the area! They are always made fresh and just the way you want it. If you don't want chips with your combo, you can get a cookie or a brownie. And don't forget to have your total price rounded up. They donate that to local fire departments to help buy equipment for first responders. read more

Brought the kids here today for a try. I had the Hook and Ladder light. It was very very good. It tasted more like it came from a "restaurant" than just a sub shop. The bread roll was warmed and the ingredients were fresh. It also came with a pickle wrapped so it didn't make my sub soggy. The kids also tried the chocolate chip and lemon cookies. They were very good! Truly a fantastic addition to the St. Cloud area. We will definitely be back again!.. No more subway for this girl! read more

Really good sandwich. Had the BBQ brisket. The meat was tender and the sandwich was really simple but high quality. Came with a pickle wrapped in a bag. Was a nice touch. Sandwich was pretty messy but can't really knock them for that. They were out of cole slaw and roast beef. What the hell. The picture of the pulled pork and slaw on Hawaiian bread is what drew me in the first place. Was disappointed about that but the BBQ brisket made up for it. Might try there again tomorrow. I've been in there enough to where they should know my name, especially the owner, but they don't. We have stopped in several times since this fun place opened and really enjoyed it. So cool with the firehouse theme - even has Dalmatian tables. Loved the welcome when we arrived and really enjoyed the brisket and cheddar sandwich. - very fresh and flavorful. My husband liked his club so well he had to order a Firehouse as well.
