Can you guess what happened? Screwed up my order. I ordered French onion soup. Comes with cheese and croutons. Mine didn't! Just a bunch of onions. Ordered asiago twists, I got an asiago roll. Everything I ordered is checked off on the tag on the front of the bag. Why would I believe the checked off receipt???? Surprise!!! We screwed up again!!! I went there with my fiancé a few weeks ago, and it will be the last time. The soup I ordered was not very hot and the place is gross. I ate at a table near the back, and the walls are dirty, and the floors are gross. The table I was at wasn't the cleanest, and makes sense. I say this because I watched the girl walk around wiping the tables down with a care. She would spray them, the half wipe them down. Wasn't just one, it was all of tables. One of the worst Panera Bread locations I've been to, not the worst, but I don't return because it's just not worth my time. The first found Panera Bread in Iowa in 1998, and this is a far cry from what they once were... service is crap now. Most food is crap. My staple sandwich, the Bacon Turkey Bravo is no longer what it was. The bread use to be tomato bread, it was thicker and more red. The smoked Gouda use to actually taste like smoked Gouda... Panera was bought out some years ago and that's when food quality and staff hospitality took a hit. All at the expense of the consumer in search of the almighty dividend for stock holders. A nasty place. I visited there today at 9 am, they opened at 7 and the place was dirty as if it was not cleaned for a week. Every single table had crumbs on it and even after we asked for a table to be cleaned, the helpful staff came and cleaned it and then she went back behind the counter. I wanted to find the manager to raise my concerns but my wife didn't want to deal with it. Panera get your act together or it will be down the drain for you. read more

Second time to this location. First time my order was wrong but today my wife and I were close and she likes it. We order, in store, two sandwiches and two soups in bread bowls. We were told at the completion of our order that there were no bread bowls. There were 6 for sale up front but I guess it's too far to walk. $17 for bread bowls we didn't get. 3 1/2 stars Plenty of parking in this strip mall location. We went for a late lunch so there was plenty of seating available which includes a few outside tables. They recently installed kiosks but I have not tried them. Our food was very tasty and perfect prepared. The only eh part was that I ordered a grilled cheese kids meal which I asked them NOT to press the sandwhich. Kid was half way done which I noticed they only put ONE slice of American cheese which doesn't sound right. What kind of grilled cheese has ONE slice especially with the thick bread they serve. And was also served cold soup that I needed to microwave in the restaurant. This was substantially different than what my wife received and what I have received at other Panera or St. Louis Bread Companies in the past. And this was after waiting 30 minutes for food. First time at this Panera location. Never an issue with my orders at other locations. I ordered a sesame Asian chicken salad. Upon arriving back at work I found I had been given lettuce with crunchy won ton strip topping and a few slivers of almond. No sesame seeds. No cilantro. Most importantly, no chicken. Called to complain. I was offered a free cookie next time I am in, or drive back to them to correct the "mistake." The next time I am in..?! Will be never of course. I went in to get a loaf of bread for a dinner party. I asked for it to be sliced in small rounds. They asked thick or thin. I explained I wanted it (a French baguette) to be in rounds that could hold a piece of meat. That I wasn't sure of the thickness of their slicer. Four women stood around and told one to slice it. She said she didn't think she could do it. The woman at the register explained the regular slicer was broken. I said, "oh then I can just slice it myself at home". I've purchased their chicken sandwich in the recent past (from another location). The sandwich was incredible when I ate it from the previous Panera. This one was terrible. The sandwich looked like it was starving. Yes you read that right. When you bite into it, it's like biting into a McDonalds cheeseburger, thin and cold. About 6 people working here but only one at the counter where orders are taken. She frantically rushes around trying to Fulfill 2 orders and get them out of bagel toasting conveyor belt and none of the other employees assists. Taking a look around and 4 of them are doing nothing but pretending to be busy. Someone in the back is working because i can hear dishes clanging. A line is forming in back of me but because ONE person who takes your order is also busy fulfilling it no one is getting waited on. She hands the 2 bagel sandwiches to the customer waiting and finally gets to take my order. I order the steak on the everything Bagel and she tells me they stop serving breakfast at 1030!! Sometimes it takes 2 or 3 visits to be impressed. It took me 2. I have been to so many Panera's that it blows my mind away when I see one that has been put together so well. They have good tastes with decor and service. I see that they take extra effort to make sure that the coffee counter and drink station is all filled and clean. I took some pictures just to show this. Now the last time I was here, it was very busy and I couldn't even bother to sit in and eat. Now? It's a whole different place. I guess it's good when it's not very busy. I still can't stand the coffee, it tastes too sour for me. So I'm taking out a star but apart from that this is a very nice Panera. read more

This is a mixed bag review. I actually quite like this Panera and I go there often. The food is always (mostly) good. All of the employees are nice and friendly but you should avoid the bathrooms. This review is specific to their new lobster roll. I was fool enough to try a $17 sandwich only because it's Panera and I figured I could trust them to make a good sandwich. So the bread was terrific, nice and soft, but the lobster was awful. Watery is the only word I can think to use. No seasoning at all, no celery, no butter. Just cold watery lobster on a roll with lettuce....for $17... If you go to Panera stick with the bagels or salads. read more

I order from this Panera frequently out of convenience. It's not uncommon for an order to get screwed up, but still the convenience factor wins out. But today I ordered lunch and a coffee and the coffee arrived empty. No evidence of spillage - the bag it came in was dry as was the exterior of the cup. So I suspect the driver got a free coffee on the house. I did call and they promised to reverse the charge. But can't say I'll go back. read more
