My first experience with Panera and it was lovely. The food was great and the service was excellent there was a bit of a wait but it was very busy. Overall id recommend this location

I mean. The service was nice. But for 15$. Doesn't look good. I know it's an advertising photo. But it should look way more appealing then what I got

Very shocked at how small the bagels are now. The last time we got them, they barely fit into the slicer, they had to actually push them through. Now they are so small that the slicer just shaves off the top. The taste is still good.

We ordered inside on the kiosk and our order was ready 10 mins later. Sandwiches and soups tasted great. I got a peach & blueberry smoothie, and it was not smoothie consistency, very thin/watery. They forgot our soup spoons (specifically asked for utensils on the kiosk). This Panera was also out of a few items we tried to order. (Out of sourdough bread and the Take Chicken sandwiches.)

Nothing worse than going to eat your salad and seeing a short black hair in it. Can't be my long blonde curly hair.

What happened to Panera? There are few tables that are cleaned and the floor is dirty as well. Customers should not have to ask to get a rag to clean the table. Also,I ordered the Fuji salad and the french onion soup. Very dissappointing that the salad had no blue cheese, or nuts and very little chicken. My friend and I ordered this for years but it lacks ingredients that we used to get. Why would I waste my money to pay for a bunch of greens and dressing?

She knew portion sizes, flavor profiles, and made sure we were happy with food selections. Ambiance: place is trendy. Decor was really nice and the place felt welcoming. My spouse and I could converse in a regular level and never felt as if we needed to shout to be heard. Food: Delicious! We opted for the 7 course prefix meal and it didn't disappoint. We added the shrimp and Brussels sprouts appetizer (which we took home). As this was our first time, we don't realize they had different menus. Everything we had was phenomenal. We will be back. As she was walking us to our table, I noticed right away the awesome ambiance of the dining area and bar area. Their menu items looked great. They have lots of Gluten Free options, so my wife was happy about that. Their food prices are pretty decent. Their lunch specials look great and prices were pretty decent. Our waitress was very friendly, polite and professional. She was very attentive also and keeps checking on us to make sure everything was OK. My wife ordered the grilled chicken salad(GF) and I ordered their lunch specials Chicken Fried Chicken plate. Our food came out pretty fast and it was hot and fresh. My wife enjoyed her salad and I thought my meal was very delicious. The chicken patty was huge, crispy and very tasty. The garlic biscuit and coleslaw looked homemade and was very delicious. The French fries were very crispy and tasty and looks like it was made from fresh cut potatoes. Overall experience was excellent. We will definitely come back here for lunch and dinner. If you're visiting San Antonio, we would highly recommend this restaurant for your friends and family.

When we arrived, however, we were told it would actually be closer to a 30 min wait, which was disappointing. We had a party of 5 and were seated at a small square table that seemed intended for 4 guests. They simply added an extra chair, leaving very little room for everyone to eat comfortably. It felt cramped and made the dining experience frustrating from the start. We ordered the Gringo queso and chips as an appetizer and that was definitely a highlight. The queso had good flavor and was enjoyable. For my meal, I ordered the Rattlesnake Pasta and unfortunately was not impressed. While it had some spice to it, the sauce itself lacked flavor. The garlic bread served alongside it was also disappointing it smelled and tasted like cardboard. Overall, I was not pleased with my experience. Between the inaccurate wait time, cramped seating, and underwhelming entrée, it wasn't a place I'd be eager to return to.

Waitress/owner rude!!!!…read more My family and I have been going to Bella Sera for years. We regularly bring large groups of 15-20 people for family gatherings, and until recently, we've always enjoyed both the food and the customer service. The owners know us, and we've had many friendly conversations with them over the years. Unfortunately, our most recent visit left a very negative impression. I personally didn't order food because I had already eaten, but I did have a water, and my son ordered a soda, which we paid for. When the owner/waitress brought out the bread, I took a piece and was told, "The bread is for people who bought food. If you want bread, buy some." I found this comment incredibly rude and unnecessary. Considering that our family was there with a party of around 20 people and has been supporting this restaurant for years, it was surprising and disappointing to be spoken to that way. My own family members at the table were offering me bread, yet I was made to feel unwelcome over a single piece. It felt like being told that people can't share food at the same table, which seems unreasonable. To make matters worse, my cousin also had a negative experience regarding the tip. Because the gratuity wasn't added to the receipt, the owner reportedly wanted to see proof of the tip before the party left. My cousin was planning to leave a cash tip on the table, but asking a customer to show or prove their tip is inappropriate and unprofessional. The food is still excellent, which makes this experience even more disappointing. However, customer service matters, and after being treated this way, I don't plan on returning.

They have some nice hot bread they bring out. We decided on Veal Piccata and Saltimbocca. Both were tender and had a flavorful sauce over spaghetti noodles cooked al dente.
