The food always good here but today and a few days ago I had a dinner and a lunch there and the place is filthy. The tables are cleared probably thanks to the pAtrons. However, the service is slower then usual The restaurant is filthy ! The amount of food bits on the floor and under the tables and in the booth seating is alarming. My thought is if the front of house is filthy then what does the kitchen look like?!?!? I'm disappointed because the remodel is probably around a year and the place looks it hasn't been cleaned for .... gross. The manager needs to be reminded that this a restaurant Nd needs to comply to code or be relieved of his position so someone who cares can kick ass! read more

Ordered at 1215. I was told my "rapid" pickup would be ready at 12:40, then later updated to 12:55. I left my house at 12:55. I was waiting there until 1:15. Not only had they not started my order at that point but it appeared that people were jumping me in the queue. I started out as fourth in the online queue and was down to tenth by the time I left. Even though I canceled, I got an email that my "rapid" pickup was ready at 1:25, a full 65 minutes after I ordered and half an hour after it was "supposed" to be ready. In my experience as a customer and a Doordasher, this is quite typical of this location. The employees there are always working very hard to get food out. But it's obvious they are either understaffed or other systems are badly inadequate. Ownership should be ashamed. read more

Out of all the Panera's I have ever been to, this one has to take the cake of the worst one. Placed my order on the app at 1:45 and didn't get my food until nearly a half an hour after the pickup time. Good customer service, which by the way seems to be a long lost art, was on point during my visit. Me and my mom wanted to DoorDash some Panera bread so we did. I got Mac and cheese for $9 when it arrived that was the most expensive Mac and cheese for that size ever. At other places that $9 mac and cheese is considered a $5.99 snack. Overall we spent $40 dollars on a snack size tomato soup and Mac and cheese with one half of a grilled cheese sandwich. Never ordering from here again due to the prices which is a shame because there food is tasty. There service took 55 minutes to get here. Overall I'm very disappointed with Panera bread. read more

This Panera has SO much potential. It is one of the most beautiful locations I have eaten in. The effort in the design and layout was well thought-out. Being new to the area, we have dined here frequently, and have always encountered a problem with our order. One example, got our order to go. Heading to the car, realized that the chicken was not in our salads. Went back and they gave us the chicken separately. Anther example, we dinned in, and so many people who ordered after us received their food prior to us. When I kindly asked the employee, she was more than helpful in touching base with the people making the food- the lady making the food was beyond disrespect to the employee helping me. I mean how can someone like that work in such a place of business. To me, this was beyond unprofessional. I will say, management was nothing more than friendly and accommodating. However, I think employees need more guidance and supervision- and attitude and unprofessional employees need to be addressed. read more

This is the garbage can of all Paneras. I love Panera's food (especially their bread, pastries, soups and salads) and have visited many. The service is usually great and of course so is the food. Unfortunately the Queensbury Panera is a mess. The food was good ONCE WE ACTUALLY GOT IT. This is the first Panera where we had to wait almost half an hour to be served, even though the restaurant wasn't very crowded (see photo). There were long lineups at the cash because only one was open and the cashier there (Samantha) was a dunce. There were other staff milling about and chatting, but not working. Never left a review before, but this made me angry. UberEats came back with the wrong order and told me to call the Panera Bread to get it sorted out. I called them and they told me to wait a second, then they didn't say a word for over 15 minutes. Finally, UberEats cancelled the order, without a word over the phone. Panera has simplified ordering and delivery or pick up options to meet any individuals preference. You can sit, order online and the food comes to your table. You can preorder and pick up from a neat organized shelf, you can stand in line and sit where you like with your tracker in the table. It's pure magic. But better, at this location a gentleman named "Perry" is running the food with sunshine oozing out if him, by far the best customer service I've ever experienced and /or witnessed. Usually I don't go to Panera for breakfast. When they first introduced it I tried one of their sausage, egg, and cheese sandwiches on ciabatta and wasn't impressed. But being that I was out of the area, and I had a gift card I decided to give it another shot. This time I got one of the signature sandwiches. Bacon, egg, and cheese on an asiago bagel and a side order of hashbrowns. The bagel really made the sandwich a lot better. Not as good as a homemade breakfast sandwich but a step above DD. The hashbrowns however are about equal to DD, which is disappointing. I think if they had a deep fryer or at least cooked them longer they would be crispy and enjoyable because they have a decent flavor to them. Panera's is what it is - the same decor and food in over 1000 locations. It's the attitude of management and employees that make or break a particular location. The management of the Queensbury location must be doing something right. We stopped in on a Sunday morning on our way up to the Adirondacks. Food was okay, and our service was good. What makes this location superior was how the staff took care of the customers around us. A group of elderly gentlemen came in, as far as I could tell they were regulars. As soon as they sat down an employee came over with their coffees, and seemed to be taking good care of them. A young man realized after his breakfast was made that he'd ordered the wrong thing. The manager quickly made him what he intended to order in the first place and refused payment for it. Everyone seemed to have a smile on their face, a pleasant demeanor and a good attitude. Kudos to the management for creating a good working environment. read more

With a big, national chain like Panera, you should expect consistency--a similar product and experience across locations. This location surely felt short. My friend and I each ordered meals to go. Our orders were ready on time, but they were not correct. Before leaving the store, I checked my order, and I was missing salad dressing. I informed the associate who got me a side of dressing. Then my friend's order came out, and hers was also missing salad dressing. (If you already noticed one mistake, wouldn't you be more conscious and check the following orders too?) Then we drove off, we ate our food, and I realized my sandwich was missing a spread. Yet another ingredient missing from my order.
