The Educator sandwich comes with chips and a side salad

Best sandwich I've had in recent memory! I got the Educator - roast beef, swiss with russian on rye and it was grilled. Unbelievably good! Cute little place too. They are open til 4pm most days.

"Train Whistle" is my favorite. It's not too spicy, so don't be afraid to try it! The broccoli salad is pretty good as well.

Our breakfast was delicious and definitely lived up to the reputation The Silo has for hearty portions and classic breakfast food. The cinnamon roll was the real star for me. It was absolutely HUGE and really good -- warm, sweet, and packed with cinnamon flavor. Definitely something I'd recommend getting if you visit. The Silo is also more than just a restaurant. There's a large gift shop and country-store area with all kinds of goodies, including their famous fresh-made cider donuts, fudge, candy, and other unique items. It makes the whole visit feel like an experience rather than just stopping somewhere for breakfast. Great food, generous portions, friendly service, and a really cool atmosphere. Definitely a 5-star breakfast spot, and I'd happily come back the next time I'm in the Queensbury/Lake George area!

We came around 1pm on a Saturday and it took 35 minutes for a table of two. While we were being walked back, there were quite a few empty tables, but we eventually realized it's because the kitchen was so backed up. The biscuits are delicious. Soft, fluffy, and fried on the griddle! They were delicious. The chicken and biscuit appetizer was very good, but the gravy was not. Fries came out pipping out and plentiful. The soup of the day was split pea soup with lots of ham. Absolutely fantastic according to my wife. The cider donuts are where it's at. I don't like apple cider or cake-like donuts, but these were amazing. They were dense inside, yet still fluffy. They sell like hot cakes too.

Sorrentino's is the ultimate lunch destination for anyone who loves subs, salads, and surprises…read more Their subs are so big and loaded with meat and cheese; and the prices are so affordable! Their ingredients are always fresh and top-notch. And don't get me started on their salads. They make them in-house, and they are the perfect side dish for any sub. My favorites are the pasta salad, which is so flavorful that it makes me want to cry, and the tuna mac salad with the peas, which is like a hug from your grandma in a bowl. One of the best things about Sorrentino's is how friendly the staff are. They are always smiling, helpful, and courteous. They are the best people you could ever meet. Sorrentino's is more than just a deli, though. It's also a market where you can find all kinds of goodies that you won't see anywhere else. They have fresh produce, a butcher shop that has every cut of meat you can imagine, and some rare items that will make you feel like you're on a treasure hunt. They have local craft soda pop that tastes like liquid candy, Italian desserts that are so decadent, German pickles that are so crunchy and tangy that they make your mouth water, and the basics like eggs and beer that you can never have enough of. I have never been disappointed with anything I've bought from Sarrentino's. They are the best thing that ever happened to South Glens Falls. You should go there as often as you can and treat yourself to their amazing food. You deserve it.

I only was able to have a half but it was perfect and the oil and vinegar dressing k got on the side was amazing. I will def come back. I think I want to try the meatball hoagie next. YUM! Keep doing what you're doing Sorrentino's because you are doing it perfectly.

Our server was excellent. The food and drinks were very, very good. The warm focaccia served with oil and balsamic could have been my whole meal....super delicious. Yes, I'm a glutton and ordered a second helping of said bread. Overall, it's a very nice space that definitely gets loud when it's busy. My advice is to not be in a rush and don't go hangry if you're dining during prime times. We did order cocktails/mocktails, appetizers, main dishes AND dessert. Everything took quite a while (except dessert and coffee arrived quickly). We all enjoyed our entrees and thankfully, each other's company. We were there for about 2 and a half hours from start to finish.

Come hungry! The portion sizes are giant and the flavor is amazing! Our server was super attentive to us and was on top of getting what we needed/asked for. While it did take a bit longer than normal for our entrees to come out, it was worth the wait! The lamb shank fell right off the bone, no knife required. The steak was cooked to the requested temperature and had great flavor. And they were great at accommodating a side substitute on the NY Strip dish. Then dessert. The German Chocolate Cake was phenomenal! So moist and the frosting was just the right amount and not overly sweet! It's definitely a place I'd recommend and can't wait to go back to!
