Did Zack pick up a cabbage that fell off the cabbage truck into a ditch! And the beans. . baked? I think not. I think they came out of a can and not a good brand at that. The beans were sloshing in canned beans slosh. Again, the burger and fries were delicious and now I know what not to order (beans, coleslaw or the fish. Fish is nothing to write home about nor was the little packet of sauce that went with it.) Unfortunately, another restaurant that could be truly wonderful, but they just don't bother to make it so.

I walked past a Halloween display near the entrance consisting of skeletons riding a motorcycle suspended in the air with an American flag and an upside down rowboat. Near the bar there are stuffed animals doing inappropriate things like the raccoon holding a can of beer and a cigarette. When I sat down in the dining area, I took one look at the giant oven and knew we had to order a pizza again for dinner even though we had Kay's Pizza the night before. The medium size pizza with pepperoni and sausage looked normal enough but it was an exceptionally good pizza. Nice thin, crispy crust. Not too cheesy. Remarkably, we could not finish the pizza so we boxed the rest and took it home. Our server was really nice and very helpful. The music by the Saratoga String Band was wonderful, too. They could play anything including a nice rockabilly cover by the Stray Cats. There's even an upstairs gift shop which offered a remarkable array of items including pottery, handbags and snacks. This was a fun place to visit. The staff is great and so are the food and drinks.

Most of the fries were decent and tasted good, until I came across two raw-ish ones stuck together that were soggy. By that point, I was just over my meal.

Went here for the first time last weekend. Very impressed , although the the menu is limited they have a great selection with many unique choices. Lobster roll was great as was the special mac& cheese w/pulled pork. Beer ice cold just like at The longhorn and service was great! No offer to ask cook if they could possibly accomodate. Parking sparse. Had to park at urgent care across street and risk crossing busy avenue in dark. Patrons smoking pot outside rear entrance in the shadows made it feel pretty sketchy when dining with my child! There is usually always a mixed drink special made with local liquors and some sort of fresh fruit. read more
