To their credit, the staff remade it quickly.Before leaving, I decided to pick up a loaf of sourdough bread and asked to have it sliced. I was here twice recently. A couple weeks ago I went in and ordered the You Pick Two and had a small summer corn chowder soup and a half of a bacon Turkey bravo soup. I had a french baguette for my side. I added on a frozen strawberry lemonade. It was a lot of money for everything but it was worth it. The cashier was quick and efficient as was the woman who made my food. She was very friendly and we had a great conversation as she quickly prepared my food. Everything was delicious and I was pleased. It was a really great experience. I was back just four days ago for another You Pick Two. I bought a small macaroni and cheese as part of the You Pick Two and a small summer corn chowder. I chose a french baguette for my side. I added on a chocolate chipper cookie. I used to always go for their Mediterranean Veggie Sandwich, but now I can't stop ordering their Kids Deli Turkey Sandwich. It has a good amount of protein with the meat and cheese and I always just add veggies to it (spinach, red onion, tomato, and cuke). I love the soft bread that it is served on, but you can switch it up. There is plenty of flavor that I don't even think a dressing/spread is needed. I knew a guy that belonged to all the different sections of the Irish Rebels at the same time. He was Pan-IRA. This has nothing to do with him (although if it did, would that be The Bomb?) This is the Panera Bread way down in the Orch (as in Orchard Park Blasdell etc) and it's a pretty iffy one, an older one, but even though it's tiny, it works out, because it's not always so busy. Gets a bit cold, but stays open usually during snowstorms which is usually when I end up in Panera Bread because all my other hangouts are kaput. I'm a Panera member but I think their food is nightmarishly horrible, not just bland but awful. If you love Panera food, we can possibly friends but definitely not dining friends. Not in the sense that you can give recommendations to me, anyway. Sorry. I do appreciate their free self-service water and their free Wi-fi (which is sometimes spotty). I frequent this location quite a bit and usually don't have any issues. The employees are always friendly. In my experience, it is the best panera in the area in terms of service and ambiance. My only complaint is that bagels tend to be out on Sundays during Bills season, especially for home games, and holidays. This is inconvenient because that's what I order and I end up having to go leave for someplace else. read more

I took my son on a Monday night. It wasn't very busy, but our food took ~20 minutes after we ordered. I actually went up to the counter because i thought they forgot our order. I think they may have. No big deal, but when I brought it back to the table, I realized that the soups were cold. I brought it make to the counter and was told the staff, and he told me to use the microwave on the other counter. Kind of weird. We went at a busy time and it was hard to find a clean table. The staff at this location are awesome, and the food is consistently good. The one time I had a complaint, I went back in and the staff apologized profusely and immediately gave me a replacement sandwich. They're doing this right at this Panera! This place has really down downhill. I came here with my daughter for a quick lunch tonight & I think I'll stick to a different location. I'll start by saying the service from the register was good. She was prompt and patient while the two of us ordered. She also brought me back my keys when I left them at the register ! If it wasn't for her, this would be a 2 Star review. Now as for the line prep, there is much to be improved on. First, they did not add in the cucumbers to my salad like I requested. When I brought the salad back up, she took my salad back and dumped a topping of cukes on. No words or eye contact (to be honest I don't think they're supposed to take good back, but that doesn't bother me). What does bother me is the unappetizing lettuce I was served. Panera Bread never ceases to amaze me. It's not enough that they -- for a chain restaurant, might I add -- provide fresh, heart healthy ingredients that the skinny, pin-up girl inside you feels good about, but they manage to continue to deliver those ingredients -- to your mouth -- at speeds that the unsightly fat kid inside you is pleased by as well. Not only can you use the Rapid Pick-Up feature to order you food ahead without even having to speak to person, saving you the embarrassment of ordering two dozen cinnamon buns to eat in your car in the parking lot alone, but now if you forgot to use this feature you can still skip the line (and face-to-face conversation with potentially judge mental person) and order/pay for your food on the tablets instead of at the register. Now, if only Panera would add a 1 & 1/4 inch think ribeye steak and duck fat French fries to the menu then the unsightly fat man we all inevitable grow up to be could truly rejoice. read more

The food at Panera, is always consistently decent. You know what you're going to get when you go into this chain I complaint comes from insolent workers. If you a value pick two like I do every time, plain ham sandwich half cup of soup, they have decided now that you cannot modify it. When I order, I put in the comments, no mustard I do not like mustard. It causes irritation in my throat. I don't know if it's an analogy, but I don't want to find out, so I do not eat mustard. All I said was no mustard when I went up to pick up my meal, they told me you cannot absolutely unequivocally cannot modify a value pick two I would have to order separately off the menu if I wanted it modified, and they put the mustard on the sandwich and handed it to me. They knew I didn't want it. They had it clearly in writing that I did not want mustard, but instead of just not taking the time and effort to apply the mustard which expended their energy and effort, they put it on there and handed it to me like I was going to suddenly like mustard, because it was a rule. that's a joke! And it's dangerous when I expressed the fact that between the kiosk and the back counter, I did not acquire the love of mustard. It seemed malicious that they put it on there and tried to force me to eat mustard. They made the sandwich "this time" and we're very angry about it. This is complete and total ridiculousness and exactly what's wrong with people today. They could've told me simply that they're not doing it instead of wasting food. Purposely the point is people really don't care because they're disposable and they'll walk out of a restaurant and not come back. Bella pizza in Boston New York was the best pizza around till new owners took over and now it is got good at all. The dough taste like cardboard and the sauce taste like Ragu. It's extremely rare than the food that you are served looks as good as the pictures in the ads but the Strawberry Poppyseed Chicken Salad indeed did. And it tasted better than it looks with strawberries, pineapple, blueberries, nuts and chicken heaped on. Much more fruit than chicken but a great salad nevertheless. The only negative is that the 3 prime parking spots in front of the restaurant were all reserved for customer pickup and the only handicap spots were considerably farther away. read more

Panera Bread is consistently excellent but this is a big shout out to the wait staff at Panera OP. While there on a busy Sunday lunch time I lost my keys. After searching all over to no avail they took the garbage cans out to the back and went through them all thinking perhaps they had fallen in while I was disposing of plates and silverware - that was above and beyond the call of duty. I am normally against all chains. This place proves me wrong. Their food is fresh, made to order and delicious! I've tried their soups, sandwiches and warm, freshly baked cookies - none disappoint. The best part is that, for breakfast, this is one of the few places that uses REAL EGGS (not that microwaved nonsense like Starbucks and other chains). The service is polite and prompt. You order at he counter and then get your food when your buzzer vibrates. Seating is clean, spacious and warm. For a strip mall location, it's nice. Parking is free and easy in their lot. I came here to get some work done over lunch. Panera had always been my go-to work/eat/relax location while I was on the road for work, but the appeal faded quickly. This location was just as good as the rest of the chain in way of food and service (though there isn't much, to be honest), and the atmosphere was conducive to accomplishing what I needed to get done. My biggest pet peeve about this location was the time limit for WiFi. It was something that I expected, but it was incredibly frustrating. While I understand the policy, I have never had an issue sitting in a Starbucks for hours on end. Panera may be losing its charm. Womp. read more
