Delicious on the go sandwiches and soups. Love to dip bread and soup. This location is always very busy. Employees keep it pretty clean. Service is efficient with the light up buzzer. Sometimes I feel like the buzzers are filthy dirty and it it is not what I want to be holding before I eat. I wish Panera had healthier better selection like more and a better salads. read more

I gave in (kicking self) and said, "Okay, so I'll take chili and a Cobb Salad, because their chicken is, after all, antibiotic-free). He brought the take-out home - about an 11-mile drive - and that is when I discovered their chili was loaded with "edemame" (the name rolled off the Panera manager's lips when we called in to complain) and corn. Edemame is soy. Are you kidding me??? Even feed-lot animals are given, at the very least, ROASTED soy which removes the toxins. Soy is meant to be roasted or fermented - such as traditional tofu. But nope, their "edemame", is not roasted. (Men! Do a search on what this type of soy does for your hormones!!!) You know what another name for this non-roasted, non-fermented soy bean is???? Filler. Cheap filler. Hey! I don't mind profit. I own my own company, but I will tell you this. I would not consider profiting off the health risk of others by giving this type of garbage food. GIMME SOME OF THOSE GOOD OLD KIDNEY BEANS!!!!! And is anyone else sick of vinegar-dressing, vinegar-dressing, vinegar-dressing? No matter what you order as a salad, they All Taste The Same. Bitter. Harsh. Burning. Vinegar. Nobody USED VINEGAR AS A DRESSING UNTIL THE late 1800s FACTORY FOOD INDUSTRY started bottling dressings with vinegar because they could not duplicate the flavor and shelf-life of home-made non-vinegar dressing! Anyone ever think about what all that distilled vinegar does to your liver? Look it up. And seriously??? Who has ever heard of a "blue cheese vinegar dressing?" Oh, I know. I heard it from the pan-head employee tonight that, "Well, we do things different here at Panera". Different isn't always better, Toots. I've been telling my family for half a dozen years, "I don't get the Panera 'thing'". They look like they're part of the "healthy, clean food movement", but when you dig down and look at the oils in their soups (that should be broth!!), and the distilled vinegar that should be quality red wine vinegar, they're not doing you any favors. And after tonight's soy and corn-loaded chili (barf!) and a Cobb Salad that came with yet more vinegar dressing (cheap cheap cheap), and rotted tomatoes that were so over-ripe, and falling apart, and hidden on the bottom, and not a single trace of bacon - well, that is it for me. That was the most expensive box of plain, boring lettuce I've ever purchased. Here's another thing. Do not expect your take-out orders to ever be correct. I think we're down about $50 bucks over the last few orders by the pan-heads in my family, just because the pan-head-employees just can't seem to get the orders right. They leave out sandwiches. They forget to include the soups. Forget about trying to order the soup AND sandwich. Just count on receiving ONE or the OTHER. And what do they say if you call them? "Oh, we'll put your name on the list in our notebook. When you come in again, we'll give you XYZ, or we'll give you credit.". Wow, that must be quite the list and notebook you keep of all your inept, incompetent, screw-ups. YO CORPORATE! Vegetables are ALWAYS wilting. I have yet to see fresh veggies at a Panera. I guess the food is not as unhealthy as McDonald's but nothing is really goooood. They actually FREEZE the mushrooms they put the salad with mushrooms. Freeze them. I never thought it would be possible to process 'fresh' vegetables so they would be unrecognizable but Panera has proved me wrong. read more

A great yummy place to grab lunch! The tortellini Alfredo is superb and I highly recommend it. Their salads always taste fresh as well. To be completely honest, if you're looking for quality service and a quiet place to sit, this probably isn't the spot you're looking for but it's a nice quick bite with a lot of menu options. read more

You really have to stop by your bank and get a small loan before taking your family to eat at Panera...It is expensive!!! Don't get me wrong, the food is delicious.. Just way too expensive... Their Cuban sandwich is my favorite...Not a real Cuban sandwich but close...The brownies are so good...As are all the breads and baked goods...Soups are also very good...My daughter and I thought the broccoli soup in the bread bowl though was a big mess...The bread was the consistency of snot...Sorry not sorry...I used to get the lobster roll until the day I bit into one and it was frozen with little ice bits included...The manager returned my money and gave me another lobster roll but it shouldn't have been given to me still frozen to begin with... What's up with serving frozen lobster in New England in the summer time??? I go to Bentley's just down the street now for my lobster rolls..They include fries and cole slaw for about $20... read more

I'm not one to write a review but I cannot let this go unnoticed. I usually LOVE their food but this particular location failed me miserably. I did a rapid pick up order as I'm a nanny for a rambunctious 4 yr old. I modified a specific sandwich to add bacon light spinach and pesto as it gives you the option to do so on the app. There was no bacon or pesto on the sandwich when I got it and about like a pound of spinach with the bread burnt to a crisp. They forgot the chips too. I also got a small Mac n cheese and not only was it partially frozen but it tasted/smelt rotten and the baguette was as hard as a rock. I had to pull the sandwich apart to eat the dry turkey and pound of spinach bc I was starving and the rest went in the trash. $17 in the trash. Deeply dissatisfied. Safe to say I will not be returning. read more

When I first moved to New England, I had never been to Panera. Now I love it! Awesome selection of salads, which are huge, and great paninis and sandwiches. I never really eat the pastries they offer...but it's a large selection. Their bagels are also pretty delicious! They recently started the "MyPanera" card...so each time you buy something you get points then you get something for free! So awesome. Their free wifi is also great...cozy chairs most of the time. Always busy, though. Still awesome : ) One just opened up in Clackamas, OR, and my mom couldn't believe her eyes after living here for so long and seeing one out there. Spread the word!!! read more

Lunch is always super busy here, but we still have our choice of seats. The line setup as a little awkward, as there's no room to just look at the menu without being right in line and getting asked if you're "ready to order yet" every few minutes. Their bread is awesome. The baguette is warm, super crusty, and soft on the inside. I've tried both the broccoli cheddar and the baked potato soups, and while they are both good, broccoli wins by a landslide! Once in a while the soup is not very hot, but this doesn't happen very often. The salmon sandwich I had the first time I visited was cold, dry, and tough. It tasted and felt pre-made and refrigerated. Their warm sandwiches are definitely the way to go. The grilled tomato and cheese sandwich is very good. The Cuban chicken panini is just fine, too. Again, sometimes the hot sandwiches aren't hot enough, but this doesn't happen every time, maybe once in every 5 visits. My biggest problem so far is that if your sandwich has pickles on it, it gets toasted with the pickles ON it. So the pickles get super hot and lose their crisp. NOT appetizing at all, in my opinion. One of the last times I visited this branch, part of the decorative stone wall fell on my leg! I was not injured, and a letter to Panera got me an apology and a small gift certificate, which was very nice! I have been there once since, and the wall has been fixed and the soup was nice and hot, so I was very happy! read more

Consistently good, I love Panera Bread! More specifically, the one located on Amherst Street in Nashua, NH. They have a great staff there, always friendly and professional. The food was pretty good. The staff was excellent. They were so friendly and helpful. The manager however, in the pink shirt, short with glasses, not so much! I think her name was Cat. While the food can be good, this particular Panera does a much sloppier job (as other reviewers have noted) making it. Also, they switched management or something in the past month (since Feb 2010) and the customer service has gone downhill. Everyone in there acts like they don't work there, which is always a sign that for some reason people are hating their jobs and not doing a good job as a result. The Panera in Bedford has much more efficient, professional people who seem to "get" what Panera is supposed to be like - good, clean, well-made food that is served efficiently and cheerfully. read more

Food is very average. I can't understand why they never have a decent selection of soufflé's in the morning. I only like the four cheese and they have one maybe one out of ten visits. Always "ready in 20 minutes." The line situation can also be maddening as there is no real signage to the line at the café. you stand there waiting for the next available register and hope someone doesn't cut you and just go stand in line at one of the registers. On a positive note, PB has one of the best reward programs in place as you actually earn free stuff unlike most stores. read more

There are few times in life when a meal goes completely wrong. In this case, it went completely wrong. I have never been talked to so disrespectfully in my life. My husband is a Marines core vet, and unfortunately he did pick up a bit of a mouth while overseas, and it wore off on myself as well. While enjoying a lunch together, we exchanged repport, sitting next to no one but apparently the bitter manager. We can't help but have a language littered with an explative or two. We mean nothing by it, it is very normal for us. However, the manager approached us at the end of our meal in an extremely aggressive way, talking down to us as if we were children. She told us, VERBATIM, "Stop. Stop right now. This is a family restaurant. I'll ask you to leave if you do not. It's your choice". I tried to apologize politely and she continued her disrespectful tirade, refusing to even look at us in the eye. She cut me off, wouldn't even let me speak or defend myself. I am incredibly upset, I just wanted to enjoy some soup with the love my life, my hero, and instead I was talked down to and threatened. I was already having a bad day, telling my sweetheart about my woes when she rudely interjected. It's obvious that she hates her own life and career and needs to take it out on someone else. I ordered a mac and cheese in a bread bowl using the electronic tablet. I couldn't figure out how to add a bread bowl so I wrote it in the further instructions portion. I payed for the order then the women behind the counter yells my name to get my attention, I walk up to her and she keeps yelling. At this point I'm embarrassed as everyone's looking. She asks me if I wanted a mac and cheese in a bread bowl and I say yes. She explains to me that I messed up and needed to go get the price changed at the counter. I get there and they end up charging me an extra $2.39 for a bread bowl on the side. I explained that I didn't want an additional bread bowl and instead of helping me get my order to where I wanted it, she told me this is what I ordered. I ended up with a bowl of large mac and cheese and a bread bowl on the side. I am not upset about the quality of the food, but upset about the service. They knew what I wanted and called me out for making a mistake but did not help me. Instead they had me continue with my minor mistake and over charged me. read more

I love Panera's food and generally the service is alright. But my experience yesterday was very unsatisfactory. I did a call ahead order so I could pick it up and go back to my office. When I arrived the sign at the counter said to see any cashier for pick up orders. So I had to wait in line with everyone else ordering. Then they told me I had to go to the end and wait. After waiting about 10 min, I had to go ask someone to check on it for me. Then they made it. I was late getting back to work. I can handle all this. But THIS is what really ticks me off, and it's not just Panera: when I got to the counter to order the two girls working there were having a personal conversation, i.e. oh, I'm sooooo tired today, I can't move... did you have your daily caffeine? blah blah blah.... So, I am standing there doing a slow burn while they chat about how they hate being at work.... Hey, idiots, if you don't want to work, don't ask people for a job!!! read more
