The food and service is great. The prices seem high for a "fast food" type of place. We were excited when they opened in mount Dora!

The food was OK, but the staff seems disgruntled & I didn't feel treated well with a sarcastic comment that was made to me when I didn't quite understand an order. It wasn't a pleasant experience for the price I paid. The soup spoon was dirty, so I just grabbed a plastic one. There are so many places to eat around here. I'd skip this corporation with the miserable staff and go for a mom & pop place or the organic grocery store up the street that sells wraps and sandwiches. I would have ended up paying the same amount for a better product and cause. I won't be back. It's just not worth it, again with so many other choices in this area. read more

I love Paneras.. the soups are always delicious and the service is always on point. Betty friendly and helpful employees.

For the price, its not worth it. For starters the nice lady that took or order said they didn't have Rye bread and didn't know what to compare Rye bread to and didn't know much about breads...isn't the name of this place Panera Bread? LOL! Got our food quickly. I was kind of surprised at the size of the sandwiches. What they call a half, I would call a quarter. My salad was ok and my wife's soup was hot and tasty. After trying this Panera SEVERAL Times being as it is right near my work, and they never fail to disappoint. Never have I seen workers drag their feet slower or forget an order faster than at this Panera. Ask for only egg and cheese?They will happily throw some ham on there for you. Have to make it to work and have allotted 15 minutes to pick up some food they will surely make it take 30. Judging is how much Panera charges you would think that they would pay their workers a little bit more so maybe they didn't want to absolutely die every time they come to work. We're suppose to go to chikfila but it was closed so we went here which is across the street. Food is fine but service sucks. Got my order and when my beeper went off, I have to wait to complete my order. Talked to the manager girl and she said she put my soufflé in the oven and it will ready in 10 min. Ten min passed and I have to check with her and she said they ran out of artichoke soufflé and offered me another sandwich....I don't want to start my day like this...bye Felicia Panera read more

The wait is so long always, I went through the drive thru for a smoothie and it took more than 10 minutes, not worth the wait.

Great service and employees greeted us in a very friendly way. I have never had an issue here but this time I got less than a quarter container of salad dressing for my half salad. When paying for something that costs as much as Panera I would love to at least get half a single container of salad dressing! read more

Very nice clean place with friendly staff. We were in town for a few days and ate here every morning on the way to our work.

Although I think the bread here is great, everything else we've tried has been disappointing. We had lunch here recently- we ordered 2 bowls of chicken noodle soup and a Tuscan chicken sandwich. The soup was tasteless and, on top of that, was lukewarm at best. (I took it back to have it heated up and, even then, it wasn't hot). The baguette, however, was great. The sandwich was...eh. Additionally, I got some bagels here recently and they didn't taste right-the plain bagel had a sweetness to it, which it shouldn't. read more

Legit the worst Panera on the face of the Earth. They can't get an order right to save their life.

Yes, this Panera is slow on take out and there have been times the order is wrong, but the girls behind the counter have been nothing but kind to me. In fact, one time when my order was wrong they offered me a free cookie for patiently and kindly waiting. And heck! I'll take their cookies any day! Their food has been always delicious. The only thing I don't like about this Panera and it has nothing to do with the food or customer service is the music. Other Panera's have classical music which is conducive to business meetings or working on my laptop with a nice cup of coffee and a muffin. This one plays the most depressing lyrical music. The classical music always made me feel like I was going into a classy establishment. Their music just makes me depressed and wanting to get out as quickly as possible. If they would just go back to the classical I would give it five stars. read more

This morning at 7:30 I went inside and ordered a dozen bagels, 2 two ounces of cream cheese, and a cup of coffee off of one of the kiosks. Very shortly after I rung in the order I can hear complaints being made from the employees working in the back pertaining to my order. My order was the only one on the "Being prepared" screen and there might of been one person in the drive through...20 minutes later I am handed my order by the manager that informs me they are out of cream cheese and refunds my money, I understandingly accept the refund only to be given the most in-genuine "Have a nice day" with dismissive hand motion. I'm extremely unimpressed and disappointed given this is the 5th time they gave given me all kinds of issues from rude employees to incorrect orders...I wish cooperate would read more

Cashier (short, blonde, pretentious) told me my total and snatched my card when I handed it to her. When she gave me the card back, I said thank you and she slammed the drive thru window in my face. Handed me my drinks which had soda all over the lids which I didn't see and spilled on myself. Gave me my bag of food and slammed the door in my face once again, so I left. Got home and just noticed the order was wrong. Tomato soup I ordered? More like diluted V8. Gotta love the Panera in Mount Dora where all the old white people's pretentious, spoiled, children earn their minimum wage. :) Yikes! read more

horrible and rude service. Everytime I come to this Panera, they always get my order wrong. When I ask them to fix my order, they get very rude with me. When I talk their managers in order to fix what was wrong with my food, they always give me attitude and make it feel like it's a hassle. The food is good, average good, IF they have what you want. So many times they are out of what I'm ordering. Some of the staff isn't particularly friendly and sometimes not friendly at all! We have been coming here like 10 times since this establishment opened in June. The food have been consistency delicious! But only drawback for first few visits was they DO NOT FOLLOW our requests of adding bacon or remove cheese for something else. We confront them and they said its the way the food are made. We got upset. But today finally they follow our requests by each sides we want in our meals. Finally! Hope they will continue to do so for other customers. Bagels are great service sucks. Got to Panera at 6:26 was told I had to wait unit 6:30 that was fine but she said I had to move out of line and wait in the parking lot, fine. I drove around stopped close to the line to order and another car drove around me it was then 6:28 They drove up and placed their order with no problem. I placed my order and mention to the girl I was forced to drive around and wait until 6:30 and then this other car drove in front of me and placed their order. She said what do you want to order. Gave her my order she repeated incorrectly I gave it to her again. Got to work and was missing two bagels. This is not my first unpleasant experience. read more

I drove into town to order two take out dishes from Panera. I have been here once before, and ate in the restaurant, but decided to do take out this afternoon. I got home and the Asian Chicken Salad that I ordered came with no dressing. Unfortunately when I got home, I didn't have any at home either, so salad was not eaten. I did call Panera and was connected to manager, and all she said was that she was sorry, and she was sure the salad couldn't have been good without dressing. That was it. She offered nothing else. I didn't ask for another salad, or at least something, and just hung up. I find this quite unusual because any other restaurant, including fast-food restaurants, if they make a mistake, they try to correct by offering something. Makes for good customer service. I probably will not use take out again. Nano chicken salad was wrapped in a thin paper, and sat on top of the hot French onion soup in the brown bag. By the time I drove home, the sandwich was soggy from the heat/steam. The soup was tasty. The 2 Star rating was because of poor customer service after talking with the manager. read more
