First time visiting this location. Standard layout and decor. They may be under staffed since there wasn't anyone manning the register, so you had to use the kiosk. However, the kiosk was not designed to take the PB gift card in my Apple wallet, so just used my CC from my Apple Pay. Later a helpful employee showed me a work around to scan the gift card at the register (not at kiosk). The food is always great and really like their new or returning seasonal items on the menu. read more

The workers here aren't very attentive and the people in the kitchen especially didn't seem to be putting much attention into anything. My sandwich came out so tiny, one slice of turkey, and barely any bacon. Not to mention how thin the bread was! I've seen a few other reviews on this place, and they're pretty much exactly as they seem. Granted, I've had this ciabatta cheesesteak a handful of times and it usually isn't this rough. The workers who prepared the food were super disorganized, the one young lady, "Carmel" was so chaotic and she had knocked into the other employees a multitude of times. It took 36 minutes for the cheesesteak to be made. Overall the line was annoyingly long, and the expression from other customers were accurately similar to mine. Tonight, the United Methodist Church of Waterloo Village held a fundraiser at this location, so of course I happily supported their cause. I've now been waiting in the drive through line for 20 minutes. They took my order straightaway, there's only one car in front of me and now there's 3 cars behind me. We've all cut our engines and we await our fate. All I wanted was a drink and a bakery item and now I wait like a sheep for slaughter. I have very little time for this kind of nonsense and I'm really tired of the lack of service. At this rate I could have gone home - baked cookies and cinnamon rolls and brought them back. Went through the drive through and they forgot to give us a full sandwich. Second time this has happened. Went back into the store and was completely ignored by the staff. The lady who took our order at the drive through even came by at one point and said she could not help us because she "only worked the drive through" but that someone would be by shortly. I watched the manager ignore me as I stood at the counter for a few more minutes before I walked over to the area where they were putting up orders and managed to get the attention of another employee. So when we are traveling we often look for a Panera sign as a place to stop for lunch or early dinner. This Panera is off Exit 27 on I-80 in New Jersey. This Panera's is wonderful! Nyne, our cashier, was so very hardworking, polite, efficient and all with warm personality. The cooks that prepared our meals went above and beyond. It was one of the best salads I have eaten at Panera's. Expertly put together and with a generous portion....super fresh too. I had the pleasure to deal with the Manager, Sarah. It's a Panera Bread! It's been my family's favorite for quite some time but since we don't have anymore business in the area we don't visit it as often. It is good and consistent just like a Panera should be but it is not as crowded, or at least I haven't seen it as crowded as some of the other locations I've visited. Any chain like panera everything will be the same food wise. The decor and restaurant layout will be very similar. But the thing that will set them apart is the staff. I love most things that comes out of paneras kitchen from the smoothies to paninis to soups. There is a wider variety to chose from. My favs include the tomato mozzarella panini and the chicken soup in a sourdough bread bowl. They service at this particular location is fast and friendly Recent I had used their new mobile app ordering system to order and 1/2 and 1/2. Half soup and half sandwich. When I got it home I opened my dinner to see there was now turkey on the half of a turkey sandwich I order. So o called the store talked to the manager and what they did for me was beyond satisfying. The made me a whole sandwich fresh refunded the full amount of my purchase have me a few bags of chips and offered me a free bakery item. Overall I walked out of there a happy customer and will continue to be for many more dinners to come read more

My mom likes to go to this Panera, or used to at least. Every time my mother goes, she orders a hot drink and asks for it to be in the mug, not a paper cup. 3 different times they provided it in a paper cup even though she asked otherwise. She goes up to clarify she wanted it in a mug, and they always taker her cup and pour the drink into a mug and give her that, ruining the whipped cream, or foam, and ruining the experience. Stopped over here for dinner on the way home from a weekend getaway. I was really impressed with their customer service. They bring the food over to your table! Like other Panera's, there are self service kiosks to avoid the long lines. It is open during their renovation, which means, as of this writing, they are down to one temporary bathroom. This is my favorite Panera bread location, the staff is always friendly, smiling, and welcoming, the restaurant is always clean, and the management is excellent. On multiple occasions I have spoken to manager ryan and he is both professional and accommodating. My order is normally correct but when it is not- it is fixed fast and with care, the manager makes sure my family and I enjoy our experience and return.
