They have free wi-fi, decent coffee beverages, tasty and seasonal salads and fast and efficient service. The negatives include mediocre sandwiches and soups with little taste. The chicken noodle soup tastes like it comes out of a can. For a national chain cafe, this is 4 stars, bordering on 5. They'd need better tasting soups and sandwiches for that though. read more

While I like this place well enough to eat lunch here every Friday when I'm in Mt. Laurel, it's not a terrific experience. The place is always crowded and the service, though pretty fast and efficient, is reminiscent of an Army chow hall. On top of that they've changed the menu and my beloved Cuban sandwich is no longer available. I tried the Chipotle Chicken, but it was a damn mess and not particularly inspiring. Food is always made well here. Parking can be a pain. It is EXTREMELY busy during the 12 - 2pm weekday lunch hour. I advise getting here before 12pm or after 2pm. It does have outdoor seating, which also fills up fast on a warm, sunny day. It's weird to review a chain restaurant, but I never had a problem with service or food here. If I had to vote, I would say the Panera Bread in the Promenade Shoppes in Marlton is slightly better. read more

Walked into Panera for the first time in a long while. Ordered our meal. And then, we WAITED. And waited. Seventeen minutes later my husband asked the lead lady behind the counter how much longer and she asked his name and said "I don't even see your name in my cue yet." There were tons of people waiting, just like us. So we got the manager and asked for a refund. She rolled her eyes and said "it's only been 15 minutes." Place is more packed than an Ugg/Coach store with a black friday sale during lunch. Other than that, the food is typically Panera. One thing of note though - the internet here is not good (it's free though, so what do you really expect?). Do not come here if you need a strong connection. Ran bandwidth test, my down was 0.77mbps, upload was 0.7mbps. Lots of trouble streaming music and working. Will move to the B&N down the street and check that bandwidth out. Really disappointed in this location. I ordered the "pick two option" and paid extra for mozzarella; however when I went to eat the food i noted that there was no cheese on the sandwich and no avocado which is supposed to be there. I was pretty Excited about the broccoli cheddar soup however once I opened it I quickly found that it was quite watery and didn't have any actual pieces of broccoli in it. read more

For "fast food", Panera is about as good as it can get. I come to this location sometimes because it is close to my office. At lunch time, it's an absolute mad house. Definitely be prepared to wait. I prefer to take out, and I recently discovered that you can call ahead and place your order. Bonus: They even let me give my credit card over the phone so I could send one of my employees to pick it up for me. They always get my order right except for the last time when they forgot my bread bowl. It was their first time making a mistake with my order, so I'll give them a pass this time. All in all, it's a good place to grab a quick, tasty lunch that doesn't make you feel like you just ingested radioactive waste. read more

I come here for business lunches or coffee meetings a couple times a month. There is ample seating and the dining area is nice and bright. Panera food is Panera food is Panera food is Panera food. So, nothing to write home about, but they do have a nice selection of sandwiches and salads, and I do like that you can see how many calories each dish has in it....helps to make your choice a little healthier, I think, that is, unless you are craving the Mac n Cheese....in which case, those 600 calories are worth it! Ok ok so I know it's uber cool to hate chain restaurants, but I've always been pretty lame and I love Panera! I used to work in this area and as another reviewer mentioned, lunch options are pretty limited. I had always been of the opinion that panera was overpriced, but as yet another previous reviewer alluded to, its really not that much more than your typical "value" meal at any fast food restaurant and the food and experience is much better here at Panera. I almost always get a soup and sandwich combo. I loooove their sharp cheddar cheese on their sandwiches and the selection of breads. Lots of delicious soups. My faves are cream of chicken and rice, black bean and seasonal steak chili. Their chocolate chip and iced cookies are both highly delicious and addictive! Employees are friendly and rarely make a mistake in my order and are always very great about fixing it when they do. Don't get me wrong- I always like Panera. This is just for suggestion for the store manager to aware. I have been using the rapid pick up and it is really great - efficient and effortless. But there has been problems quite often- the first day, they forgot about my pastry (but they are nice about it and you will get it next time you are in) and today - ughhhh, I found a hair in my salad. But the girl behind the counter said that's wrong, we are not out of avocado, just go ahead and order your salad and it will have avocado. My only issue with my tuna sandwich was that it had more lettuce than tuna. I ordered a whole sandwich with very little tuna. This review i mostly for my rapid pick up order. Each time I wait in line I see the shelf and signs about it but had never felt an urge to try it. This past Sunday I was feeling so lazy and decided to pick up something quick and then I thought of the rapid pick up. I signed up fairly quickly and 10 minites later was picking up my order. my new coffee hang out! Since Ebenezer's closed down and the French bakery next to it this is the only sit down in a comfy chair in front of a fire place you can get around here. Coffee is fresh, smooth and with free refills. My favorite is the personal pineapple upside down cake. The only thing missin is Kass from the old Ebenezer's. This location has really gone downhill in the last few months. They are frequently out of ingredients, especially bread, even early in the day. Delivery orders are often wrong or missing items. Once a driver forgot our smoothies on a delivery order and ran back to get them, instead of making new ones they brought us the melted ones that had been sitting out for a half hour. Today we dined in for breakfast, soufflés were not even heated up, coffee and hot chocolate watered down, etc. We have eaten here regularly for years and never had any issues until earlier this year. I don't know if it's new management or all the tech upgrades but something has ruined the quality and quality control. read more

There was a time I use to eat at Panera 3 times a week for lunch. The food was fast, fresh and reasonably healthy (good soups and salads). Now I only eat there when someone else really wants to go. What annoys me the most is how they continue to cut back on portions. Just was there for breakfast. They serve bagels with oversized holes, the worst breakfast sandwich and 11.5 oz orange juice (because 12 oz is a typical standard and they have to give you just a little less). I love Panera and have been going to their locations for many years. This one, however, you gotta be careful. For example, I ordered the BBQ chopped chicken salad and the thai chopped chicken salad to-go for my friend and I. By the time I paid and waited for my order, they called my name and then I realized the cashier put chopped chicken cobb with avacado instead of the bbq chicken. Normally I would brush it aside because I know it's frustrating when working in a crazy busy place (and I have worked in food service before) but since it's for my friend then I had to say something. The cashier then exchanged my money and ordered the right thing ---but rather checking up on it herself and communicating directly with the kitchen line, she just assumed I told them. So I go back to my office and give my friend her salad, and as I opened mine, I realize they ended up replacing my thai with the cobb salad. WHYYYY THE COBB SALAD ?!!! :( I am soo annoyed because now I'm stuck with a salad full of lettuce and bacon...UGHHHH..so here I am nibbling on this salad, sad with every bite---b/c who honestly wants to pay $9 for a plain salad? This place gets very busy at lunch. They have both outdoor and indoor seating. They have a good system in place to get the food out quickly. I do like that they have the calories posted on their menu although I hate that some of their tastiest menu items are very high in calories. I love Panera. I've enjoyed soups, salads, sandwiches, desserts for just about ever. My faves are broccoli cheddar soup, asiago roast beef sandwich, turkey artichoke panini, iced green tea, blue cheese steak salad. In fact, I had surgery last summer and could only eat liquids for 2 weeks after and I ate their soup just about every day. The You Pick Two option is great. You gets a lot of food for a decent price. I usually eat half then take the rest home for later. Iced green tea here is yummy and refreshing. Lastly, get their Panera card - it's free and your rewards add up quick! read more
