My wife and I have been here many times, and we have never been greeted in a warm or friendly manner. 2. If you speak to any employee they make it very clear you are bothering them. 3. The food is overpriced for the inconsistent quality. 4. Today the music was so loud that we couldn't hear each other across a small table. I asked for a manager and asked if it could be turned down just a little so we could hear each other talk. She responded flatly: "No. Corporate says we have to leave it at 6 and that's where it's at." And she walked away. No empathy. No courtesy. 5. Coffee is virtually always room temperature and has to be warmed in the microwave. These are just examples, it's always something disappointing here. I have been very patient with PB's lack of concern. It is a corporate issue, bc it is all locations, not just this one. But today was enough. We will never return again. read more

I am finally giving up on Panera Bread after having been a loyal customer since it was St. Louis Bread company in 1998. I tried to call in a TO GO order for Lunch from this location on Wednesday Sept 1, 2026 at 11:15 am for 7 people but was told by the restaurant employee that they do not take phone order during lunch. So I drove in and got there at 11:30 and the place was almost empty - rush hour had not started. They prepared my order in 20 Minutes and found that the Chicken Salad sandwiches (3) that I ordered were TOTALLY DIFFERENT and apparently Panera had changed this sandwiches which tasted terrible. Other 5 sandwiches were very mediocre as well and I clearly see why Panera gets a 2.6 rating ! Tell me why you would want me to come back ?! read more

Great location, with great staff. Donna is always friendly, and the management team always strikes me as super helpful and attentive. I love coming in to pick up my daily coffee, or get some remote stuff done on the laptop. Flavorless and basically ate it because it was a group event, but I would have much rather gone someplace else. This is the second or third time that this location has shorted us food on an order. We came in for a late lunch and ordered very easily on the tablets for dine in, but you can also order at the cashier. We got our drinks and waited for our food to be to be picked up. The food came out very fresh and hot! I got a you pick 2, with mac and cheese, frontega chicken and and bread with a water. I enjoyed my meal very much as I always do!! It wasn't that busy on the inside when we came and very easy to find a spot to sit. I will always love and come back to Panera. I really enjoyed the membership plan and the options for multiple levels of service (pre-order, order at a kiosk, drive thru, counter service). I like the self-serve ordering kiosks. I can review ingredients and nutrition information, and then tailor my meal to exactly what I want. I was also impressed by the variety of menu options (pizza, sandwiches?, coffee, tea, breads etc.) and the fact that you can choose your own (self serve) drip coffee. We couldn't get anyone to take our order this Monday evening. There were people sitting, eating, and watching us stand there for almost ten minutes waiting for someone to assist, but no one came. One person was at the self-order panel, but the other one wasn't working. Like your average standard Panera. It was pretty clean, quiet yet busy (which is a good sign). All the servers had smiles on their faces and were conversing with the patrons and it seemed like regulars come here and employees had been there a long time. There's a new kiosk system where you can "skip the line" and order your food without going to see a cashier. You just can't pay with cash at that station. I paid 9.49 for the Soba noodle bowl with chicken. The chicken was very dry, the soba noodles had no taste to it, and the broth was tasteless too. I would not recommend getting this bowl if you are looking for something tasteful. For a side, I got the multigrain roll. It was very hard as well to eat. But it was edible with a little butter on it. However. the chocolate chip muffin and the passion green tea drink was great. The Chicken noodle soup and Cinnamon Spice latte that I ordered did the job. That tickle is gone!! Panera Bread's delivery has always been a convenient option. Only complaint that I have, is that if there are any substitutions that need to be done, they don't make any attempt to inform you, or to put it on the receipt. Case in point, I was really looking forward to an apple as a side item, instead of a baguette, but wound up getting a baguette, and no apple. This type of lack of communication has happened at other locations as well, whether delivery or a Rapid pickup order. Okay don't know what's changed in the kitchen but I get the bbq chicken sandwich alot and today it was nothing like what I've had before - not even close. I should have sent it back. To start with there was very little chicken on it whereas previously there are big chunks and on top of that - hardly any BBQ sauce at all. I haven't been to Panera in a long time, so I asked the employees for recommendations. The man and woman behind the counter were only too eager to help, and so friendly. Based on the recommendation of the two employees, I ordered the "pick two" (half sandwich, half salad) of the Roasted Turkey Avocado BLT and the Fuji Apple salad. The food was fresh and tasty. The Fuji Apple salad, out of this world. The only thing that surprised me was the price. I paid $18 for half a sandwich and half a salad. It seemed too high. They also have self-ordering kiosk but since I am not real familiar with Panera's menu I choose to go through the line. I decided to try to the Cuban. The sandwich was fresh, tasty and made well and I would consider ordering it again on future visits. The bread was excellent although I prefer genuine Cuban bread, this worked for this sandwich. They have self-serve drink stations and as always they have great iced tea with slices of fresh lemon. I ordered my meal with an apple for my side item but ended up throwing it away as it looked pretty sorry and had obviously seen fresher days. The dining room was clean and comfortable and despite being busy with people coming and going the staff did a good job in cleaning tables quickly. Bathrooms were also clean and fully stocked. I have no complaints and would definitely stop here again when in the area. read more

Can't believe they let it out of the store in that condition. Went the half hour round trip back the next day and got a refund (big whoop) and nothing else. You know when you feel like everything is closing in on you and you can't breathe, I found myself in this kind of situation. A situation I never wanted or needed to be in and I felt invisible. It was that kind of night. I was looking for a place of PEACE. I was craving a good cup of coffee or tea and something sweet to fill my MIND ~HEART ~SOUL. I needed to treat myself with the LOVE that I give everyone else this TIME. For this SECOND. For whatever it needed to mean. I walked into Panera that night, holding my DIGNITY so tightly in my GRASP and trying to hold back tears. Tears that were ready to fall at any second in front of a room full of strangers I didn't know. I can say I never do that. I never cry in public. I was still thinking that I am invisible, but this experience has taught me that I am not. I am sharing these personal details because they are necessary to include in an IRREPLACEABLE message of HOPE. At my local Panera Bread Cafe that a gift was given to me by a gentleman behind the counter named Eddie. His actions and words met me where I am, rooted in EMPATHY. This showed me that the act of KINDNESS is POSSIBLE even in the midst of the impossible. This message I send is a REFLECTION of that moment and I write with ADMIRATION, RESPECT and a TRUE heart. Eddie completed my order with THOUGHT ~ PATIENCE ~PROFESSIONALISM. He carefully put each sweet in the box with care in mind which I APPRECIATED.I thought this is the kind of person I am as well, when treating people the way you would like to be treated this made a POSITIVE impact . His OUTGOING and GENUINE personality definitely didn't go unnoticed. I needed to pay and go. I needed to leave the counter before all the tears I was holding back fell. They did after all. They fell. I couldn't keep them in and under this circumstance didn't want to make a scene. Eddie kept his COMPOSURE. He asked me if I was ok and I said "I am trying to be". He then asked, "What are you going to do" and I said "I need to sit down and try to gather my thoughts". Eddie said "that sounds like a good idea, sitting down" and I said "Yes thank you". As I walked away from the counter and Eddie helped the next guest that walked in, I pulled myself together and made my good cup of hazelnut coffee. I REFLECTED this moment that took over and my tears that now were no longer invisible. Eddie saw my tears and this time they were real and stood out. I was embarrassed and didn't know exactly how to come back from this emotional breakdown. Eddie's eyes and his smile were so sincere. I now gathered my COMPOSURE and sat at the closest table by the window to REFLECT on my next move as I sipped my good cup of coffee and looked out the window. Eddie walked up to my table minutes later with a tray in his hands and that SINCERE smile he had introduced to me behind the counter earlier. His WORDS met his ACTIONS and I IDENTIFIED instantly when he said "Here is a bowl of Chicken Noodle Soup, it is [FOOD FOR YOUR SOUL]. Something healthy, that's good for you. I thought you needed this". Then Eddie paused and spoke one more word to me "S~M~I~L~E". It is interesting that when you least expect it, a blessing unfolds. How the SIMPLE things we can do for one another make such a DIFFERENCE and completely change the PROSPECTIVE. That something small does bring HUGE provisions. I share this one of a kind experience with a GRATEFUL heart. I share it with you and with a gentleman named Eddie. A solid sandwich and salad lunch spot. For the price ($35 to feed a family of four) and the food quality, Panera is pretty good. The cookies and breads are also delicious. The atmosphere has lost a little of what it once had. I'm not sure what, but it felt like a higher end counter order restaurant years ago. It feels a little run down and old now.
