Terrible. I used to love this place. Food was terrible. Bread was super hard. Soup was cold.

Had two Mediterranean veggie sandwiches without feta to be vegan. It's very odd there aren't more vegan options on the menu. Service was friendly, no issues there. The restaurant was clean and good amount of seating. The view and outdoor area wasn't nearly as nice as the Mount Vernon one. This Marion location you just look out into the parking lot. The seating area railing is short so it doesn't feel cozy and there are just a few raised flower beds. Restaurants need to invest in more green space with more trees, shrubs, and of course flowers. Umbrellas weren't open. The sandwiches were very good. Nice having a pickle too. I appreciate reusable plates to reduce waste. It was a nice outing. read more

The question is: can you screw up oatmeal? Yhe answer is yes. As many times over the years that I've ordered oatmeal, it's always been cooked, thick and creamy. Whst I just got delivered was it looked like oats got flooded. Not cooked. I had to take off the strawberry's and microwave the oatmeal for almost another two minutes. If you pay $7 for oatmeal, it should be made correctly. read more

Let me start by saying that after a long morning and early afternoon of driving through West Virginia and Ohio, my wife and I were quite ready for a good and wholesome lunch. We found it at this Panera. Our meals were just perfect and the friendliness and help with questions from the cashier made it easy for an unfamiliar pair of customers. The one problem we did encounter is the reason for the less than 5 star review. We were seated near the order delivery counter. Behind the counter the crew was quite busy assembling orders. One of them, who the cashier later identified as the manager, was engaged in extremely loud conversation that was impossible to ignore. It was mostly silly chatter about stupid things that happened to her in the restaurant but it drifted into a tale about a customer who had a bowel problem and ended up messing himself in his booth and on the way to the restroom. She then described the mess that had to be cleaned. Both my wife and I were disgusted with this potty talk as we ate our meal. read more

Not all Panera Breads are created equal. Traveling a lot for work through Marion, this Panera has quickly become my go to lunch spot. It's well kept and the staff cares a lot. It shows in the food quality of every meal I've had. I've ordered multiple lunch items (You pick 2, Mediterranean quinoa bowl, pastries, etc) and each time their food came out fresh and delicious. Good Grief! Arrived with seven others and went to the restroom to wash my hands before ordering. The one and only urinal was wrapped in plastic - out of order. The only stall was occupied. I noticed that the soap dispenser had been knocked off the wall. As I exited the restroom, dismayed, another customer saw me exit disgustedly. He commented that he had tried to use the soap dispenser on the floor and, lo and behold, it was empty! It was absolutely obvious how little this place values its customers - zilch. I convinced my party to leave and go elsewhere. What an irresponsible owner! Do as I did - don't support people like this that have no concern or respect for customers. read more

It's Panera, would you expect less than 5 stars? Really enjoy this location, as it's close to home and usually less busy than other locations I have visited. The staff is friendly and the products are fresh with high quality. Pricing is moderate, but your not getting a burger slapped in a bun here. Bakery products are always great, and they offer free wifi while your sipping a coffee! read more

Ambiance (****) Depends on the time of day, but do not expect peace and quiet at any point. Service (****) 98% of the time very friendly and fast. I love all Paneras. They are amongst my favorite restaurants, although I don't eat at them as much as I used to because their prices are getting a little too high for me. I always have a good experience at Panera: great food, atmosphere and help. The only exception to this is the Marion, Ohio store. There is one employee that I always hope is not there when I stop in. Her name is Bambi. She ruins my Panera visit each time. She has a real attitude problem. She acts like taking my order is a real inconvenience for her. She is not friendly and definitely should not be allowed to interact with the public. It is a shame that she stands out as the only thing I do not love about Panera. read more

I just want to go on record that I am only giving the two stars for this particular location. As a whole, I really enjoy Panera. It's such a good alternative to everyday burger and fry fast food. It's the Marion, Ohio Panera location that just falls way below what I am sure is the corporate Panera's high standards. Every time (no exaggeration) I go, whether it is take-out or dine-in, they screw up the order. To the point where I have had to turn the car around and go back and get what my order actually was. Now, because as I stated, I do enjoy Panera's food, I have to do an entire disassembly of my to-go bag just to make sure they haven't forgotten something or given me something entirely different from my original order. Today my daughter and I dined in for a mom/daughter luncheon and I ordered french onion soup. I received only a bowl of onion broth. No croutons, no cheese. And when I went to use their facilities, it smelled like a backed up sewer and was in desperate need of cleaning. Truly a lack of management and quality control at this location. read more

Love, love, love this place. Fast, friendly service and the food is great. Mediterranean Egg White breakfast sandwich is my favorite! The bagels and all of the breads are upstanding. This is a great place for small get togethers, business meetings and alone time. You can't beat the fire place in the winter either. read more

Horrible service! Lunch time: ONE cashier!! Really?? Line was out the door. I should have walked out!

I've went here 3 times. All 3 times I've had bad service. Today was probably the worst. Their lemonade is fermented and gross. When I told the manager she said "we clean it weekly". Stuff like that needs cleaned DAILY. That's nasty and probably a health hazard. I personally love Panera Bread but I can't eat here anymore. I've had rude cooks and bad service. read more
