Wow. I've been to quite a few Panera Breads, I have never had such a horrible Mediterranean Veggie sandwich. It was loaded with way too much hummus and falling apart. In addition, never waited so long to order or receive my food. The combination = 1 star. read more

I've not been here in years. My past experience wasn't the best, but I recently went there to meet a friend. The experience was beyond amazing. First, I met the nicest team. Nadine is a manager that I've spoken regularly, since I started going almost everyday for the past weeks. She's friendly and we chatted about this great community. Second, their hazelnut coffee---I'm addicted! Third, the have a 3mo promo of all free drinks. Lastly, the soufflé is sold only in the morning and it's a must. They sell out quickly. read more

We love this Panera. I have never had any trouble here. We use drive thru as well as dine in. Staff has always been friendly. My food has never really disappointed as I stick to our family's usual. The only time we are left disappointed is when they're out of something, like our recent visit when they were out of broccoli cheddar soup which is all my teen likes to eat there. But I was late so I'll totally cut some slack, not their fault the food is good. Candy cookies are my favorite. I love when I can sit and just enjoy sipping on my tea. read more

During a short trip to Seattle for a conference, I was able to meet up with a friend for breakfast at a spot that was familiar to both of us - Panera Bread. We would often make Panera runs during college. We didn't linger too long at this location because we had a list of things to do together later in the day, but it was nice to revisit Panera. Since we don't have any Panera Bread locations in Hawaii (yet), it's always a treat to visit one. We went to this Panera for a mid-morning Saturday breakfast, immediately following a Starbucks run. Since I just had coffee, I didn't order Panera coffee. It wasn't crowded at this café for a Saturday, and we were easily able to find parking and a table. It didn't take too long for us to order and for our food to be ready as well. My friend comes to this location every now and then because she's a local. This restaurant was clean and pretty standard, compared to the other Paneras I have been to. Here's what I'd recommend: Iced Green Tea: This is my go-to drink from Panera, whether it's hot or cold outside. I still think they have the best iced green tea ... I've never come across one that's just as good. I really like the Panera version because it's on the sweeter side. Highly recommend this, especially if it's a hot, summer day. "Cinnamon Crunch Scone": During this trip, I didn't want to feel overly full, so I just got one of the pastries as my breakfast. When it comes to baked goods, Panera never disappoints. I usually end up getting at least one of their cookies to go. During this trip, I ordered the cinnamon crunch scone for breakfast. The scone was light and not dry, and it featured all the delicious flavors of cinnamon that I so love. Every bite felt like fall, which was nice (I did visit in September). I love how there were cinnamon flecks and actual chips all throughout the entire scone! "Chocolate Chipper Cookie": I love cookies from here because they're soft and chewy, so I ordered two of these to-go for the flight home. I also like how Panera has cookies that are individually packaged, making it convenient to transport. It's so much easier that way ... instead of taking a bunch of cookies in a bag. I love these cookies especially because they're loaded with chocolate chips. If you're enjoying these cookies later, I would recommend heating them up for a little bit in the microwave and enjoying them warm. read more

First time eating at Panera Bread and I'm kicking myself for waiting so long to visit. We found everything we ordered, food and beverages, totally delicious. The hot chocolate was one of the best hot chocolate drinks ever!! Also the kids mac and cheese made with white cheddar was gobbled up along with a Chipotle Chicken Avocado Melt and Pepperoni Flatbread Pizza. Mmmmmm. We're hooked and will visit/order more often now that we know how good this place is! read more

I come to this Panera location frequently, and I am always very satisfied with both the food and the customer service!! Went through the drive through recently for a chipotle melt and the girl at the window was wearing a bowtie, how fun! All of the workers are very nice and even when service is a bit slow you can tell they are trying their best. Don't discount this cafe just because they are understaffed! read more

This location used to be bad, I mean *bad* pre-covid. I don't know what changed, I think it's probably better leadership and a good staff, because oh my god this is the best Panera in the area no question. The portion sizes are larger than other locations, not by much but it was definitely noticeable. I also love getting their bagels and I've always had good ones from this location. This is the worst Panera Bread I've ever been too. They will screw up almost any order. I know, I've tried. You will get soup at noon that is watery. We just ran up to get a sandwich at the corner and The Turkey Bravo has different cheese on it and bacon bits instead of Bacon. Two small slices of turkey. We keep trying over and over to get a good meal to no avail. Spoken to management several times. Employees simply do not care. We've gone in the evening several times and the door is locked. They just decide they aren't going to keep their open hours. I've been told that the problem is their employees have bad parenting. There is definitely something wrong with management that allows this to continue on in this same fashion. They run out of orange scones at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday morning. We buy Pillsbury now so we can get a consistent scone. Even my grandchildren ask me if the Bad Panera Bread by our house is any better. The answer is NO. No one cares at Panera Bread in Maple Valley. We truly are speechless and are finally giving up. We used to go there for lunch 7 days a week. Soup was my to go comfort food. Not anymore. read more

Went to get a salad tonight and when I got home I was pissed... why did I spend $13 on a salad to get one that was probably worth $5... half assed amount of dressing per cup. Then the salad was pretty small (unlike the size it's been in the past) and they didn't even put the bacon toppings on it. Needless to say I'm done going to Panera. Their sandwich was very good though I found the crust of the bread was a little tough for a sandwich. They also had a nice selection of pastries to choose from. My husband and I enjoy Panera bread and we were so excited when we realized that one was so close to us! I have only used the drive thru at this one and each visit has been good. However this last week I went to get some dinner and I am not sure if the lady just didn't hear me or whatever but one item wasn't in my order when I received it. I decided to go in and ask for it and to see if I payed for it. They didn't know how to print my receipt, which was odd. But when I first walked in they were very kind and were fast to jump in to help. Overall we have had a good experience at this Panera bread and their food never fails! I don't hangout in Maple Valley. No big reason or attitude, it's just a little off my beaten track. We were nearby Panera Bread doing a social media class for local real estate pro's. My 2 coworkers Dawn & Jill were like me, really hungry after class so 'close by and fast' was in order. I had the Bacon Mac & Cheese and have to say, I'm a total fan! So, just in case, and not to show up like I don't like the suburbs (where I grew up) ... Maple Valley is a place I once knew very well as a kid several years ago. I'm now rediscovering it recently that I work out of our Covington office. Thanks for not skimping on the bacon. The mac was done just right, el dente, done but not too done. (I'm a serious pasta lover!) And... the cheese sauce was perfect, not too much, but just right. Good job Panera and good service too! Thank you! read more

If I could give 0 stars I would for customer service. We ordered a dinner to be delivered. It was delivered, but no one rang the bell or knocked or anything! We didn't find out for a half hour that it had been delivered. When I called Panera to complain, they said to call Uber. I tried to find a customer service number, but to no avail. I called Panera back to get a number, but they were too busy to help. When I pointed out that this whole situation made them look bad, and that it would prevent me from ordering from them again, they hung up on me. I'm done with them. read more

From SO many items being "out" of stock market I really poorly made food... cold, made incorrectly, or giving us the incorrect order, they've proven that ALL Panera's are NOT the same. Now, their speaker system is so bad that you cannot effectively communicate with the poor workers who are diligently attempting to take your order. Awesome food and amazing service! Tonight we ordered food and had it delivered to our door through one of the food delivery services (not saying names) but our Green Goddess salad did not make it to our door. Unfortunately we could not call the delivery driver and see if they had forgotten it in their car or possibly delivered it to the wrong customer. So I called Panera and their manager was super cool and understanding and made us a whole new salad and even threw in a few baked goods for free AND they even stayed a few minutes past closing for me to come and pick it up! We have received consistently great food from this location and after tonight's stellar service my wife and I will be customers for life. Props to DJ and his crew tonight, thanks guys! read more

I will never eat here again. Upon entering the restaurant I was greeted by one employee at register. He was pleasant. We ordered our meals, and when it came to drinks, we asked for coffee. We were informed they were out of coffee because they had no filters. How can you not have all things for needed for coffee? We were disappointed, but decided to order tea instead. We were expecting to get a cup and serve ourselves from the hot water dispenser by the tea jars. We were informed that that water was not hot and cashier got our water from the kitchen. We proceeded to the dining area and looked for a booth. All booths were empty but had dirty dishes on them and no one in sight to clear tables. I cleared table myself and put dirty dishes on another table. They remained there until halfway through our meal. After we sat down the cashier advised us they were out of the chicken used for our meal and asked to substitute smoked chicken. We were then wanting to leave but being that we were with a handicapped person we thought it best to stay instead of searching for another place to dine. So the summation of our experience at this restaurant is the cashier was nice but very disappointed in our food and restaurant atmosphere due to the dishes left on tables. read more

They literally gave me less than a teaspoon of salad dressing in a container. The bacon was one clump of congealed grease. Literally about 7 bites of salad. What a rip off after the wait. And the restaurant was packed and there was a ton of people waiting for there take out food. I understand that everywhere else had no power. But damn, get more employees to come in and help.
