It's a…read morevery local kind of diner so if the place is full; feel free to share a seat with someone - this is normal here as the dining room is small. Cash only also; they do have an ATM. Pay at the register. Don't forget to tip, the servers work hard as there is normally only a few on hand and they have to serve the dining room, the parking lot/walk up window, and a robust carry out business. If you're interested; Kidds is still an old fashioned drive in so if you want service in your car they still do it but give them some extra time. They recently added a walk up window which I prefer as it's faster and easier. The food is diner food and pretty good for most things. I love the burgers here but some people don't. They are thin patties so don't be afraid to get a double if you're hungry. The cheese dog is something unique and great also. Otherwise the diner style plates are all pretty good.

My personal favorite thing to order here is their excellent cobb salad. I'm not a fan of bleu cheese, so I swap that out in favor of another type, usually sharp white cheddar. Never a problem. It's a nice big bowl, and comes with just the right amount of dressing to add flavor to everything without being over-dressed. The ingredients here are always fresh and crisp, and you typically won't wait more than 10 minutes for everything to be ready. Stock and Grain itself provides a very comfortable environment to enjoy your choices, no matter who you purchase from. Or if you are like me... you buy from a few spots. Enjoy!

1 star. Absolutely horrible customer service experience…read more I was the ONLY person in line and made it all the way through the salad stations. All that was left was lids for my dressing, bread, paying, and leaving. Another customer walked in BEHIND me and instead of finishing my order, the employee completely stopped helping me and took the new customer through the ENTIRE line while I stood there waiting. I then had to wait 5-8 minutes while the second customer slowly decided on ingredients and changed her mind multiple times. The person behind me got almost full uninterrupted service while I -- the first customer in line -- was left standing there waiting. What made it even worse was the manager's response. He defended the employee, told me she "did nothing wrong," and completely dismissed my frustration with a "have a nice evening." The issue wasn't just the wait. It was being skipped over and then treated like my frustration didn't matter. I've been there around 5 times in the last month, but after this experience, I will never return.
